World basketball governing body FIBA has warned that Nigeria faces sanctions following the Federal Government’s withdrawal of Basketball teams from all international competition for 2 years. FIBA stated this in a letter addressed to factional Nigeria Basketball Federation president Musa Ahmadu-Kida signed by Jaime Lamboy, Head of Legal, FIBA and dated May 18, 2022.
