President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with elders and leaders of thought from Ogun State.
The meeting started around 3.04pm at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
Those at the meeting include the Governor Dapo Abiodun, former governors, Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel.
Also at the meeting are Segun Awolowo, traditional rulers and members of the National Assembly from the state and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The meeting was still in progress at the time of filing this report.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday met behind closed doors with the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
Oshiomhole arrived the forecourt of the State House at 3.25pm.

Photos: Obaseki, Oshiomhole reconcile, shake hands at Aso Rock
The hostilities between the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole and Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, seemed to have come to an end on Wednesday.
The duo met at the Presidential Policy Retreat at the Council chamber of the State House, Abuja.
Before the retreat started, they were asked by some photojournalists in the council chamber to shake hands and pose for snapshots.
The two of them complied and posed for the photograph with the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi.
Fayemi replied the photojournalists with “We are not quarreling here”
Obaseki and Oshiomhole had been at loggerhead over the timing and manner of the proclamation of the Edo State House of Assembly. -
JUST IN: Osinbajo, Ooni meet in Aso Rock
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday met behind closed doors with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
The meeting lasted for about fourty-five minutes at the Vice President’s office in the State House.
He didn’t speak to journalists at the end of the meeting with the Vice President.
The Ooni had paid similar visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.At the end of the meeting with President Buhari on Thursday, he declared that he was in the Villa over rising insecurity in the South West region of the country.
On Thursday, he also declared that Yorubas don’t want war and that there was need for more federal might in the area in order to flush out trouble makers and sustain peace. -

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with Afenifere leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting started around 2.58pm at the Council Chamber.
Those at the meeting included the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Pa Ayo Fasanmi, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, former Ogun State Governor, Olusegun Osoba.
Others included Former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Pius Akinyelure.
Also at the meeting were Chief Kemi Nelson, and Laoye Tomori.

Buhari hosts Ghanaian President, Akufo Addo in Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with Ghanaian President, His Excellency, Nana Akufo-Addo at the State House, Abuja.
This was disclosed in a Tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant to the president (Buhari) on media.
He said: “President Muhammadu Buhari this afternoon received in a courtesy call Ghanian President, His Excellency, Nana Akufo-Addo at the State House, Abuja.”

Buhari, Akinwumi Adesina meet at Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed-door with the president of African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina.
Adesina, a former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, arrived at the villa at about 2.45 p.m. and went straight to the president’s office for a closed-door meeting.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the agenda of the meeting between President Buhari and the AfDA president was unknown while the outcome of the deliberation was being awaited as at the time of filing report.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) had on Wednesday approved the request to obtain a loan of 150 million dollars from the African Development Bank (AfDF) to finance the Nigerian Electrification Project.
The project when fully implemented would benefit about 500,000 people while 105,000 households would have access to electricity supply.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, on Wednesday told State House correspondents that the electrification project aligned with the strategy of the federal government on electrifying rural communities.
“The maximum power that will be generated will be 76.5 megawatts installed generating capacity, part of which is 68,000 megawatts of solar,’’ she said.
Adesina was elected as the 8th President of the African Development Bank on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
The AfDA President took over from Donald Kaberuka of Rwanda, and assumed duty in September 2015 in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
