  • Kcee recruits nine artistes for guber campaign fundraising album

    Nigerian pop star Kinglsey Okonkwo a.k.a Kcee has finally unveiled the release date of his sophomore album.

    The acclaimed singer declared this in a post on his Instagram page on Monday. The much anticipated album is titled ‘Attention To Detail,’ and it features different gifted African artistes.

    Olamide, Flavour, Phyno, Tekno, 2baba, Patoranking, Falz, Shatta Wale and Kenyan Afro-pop band Sauti Sol are the artistes who collaborated on the album with Kcee.

     

    Recall that Kcee had disclosed that he would fund his 2019 governorship campaign with the proceeds from the album.

     

    He took to his Instagram page to create more anticipation for the album

    “3 days to the release of my second studio album and I’m pleased to share the official tracklist with you… We’ve been working on this for a long time and now we are almost there… Thanks to you all for your support always… Only the best is good enough for you all. #AttentionToDetail.     Limpopo singer, Kcee has declared that the earnings from his forthcoming album ‘Attention to detail’ will be used to support his campaign for the Anambra governorship poll.

    Recall that the singer on Thursday revealed his interest in running for the seat of governor of his State.

    Kcee on Friday stated that his decision was inspired by the need to impact the lives of people.

    “Good morning my people. The outpour of love and support received yesterday is truly unprecedented and I can’t thank enough everyone home and abroad who reached out to us,” he wrote

     

    “When my team and I put together series of projects as our contribution to improving the lives of Nigerians, one key theme was paramount that these projects must have one sole purpose – IMPACTING THE LIVES OF THE MASSES. How can one create immense impact without influence?

     

    “Hence we knew we must embark on the road to ensuring that we get to the position where we can take the right decisions that will favour all.

     

     

     

    “With a strong sense of responsibility, I announce that this journey has begun. I am not perfect and do not claim to have all it takes but my heart is pure and my intentions genuine.

     

     

    “I will submerge myself in the next coming months to seeking necessary counsel and support in achieving this goal. I encourage every youth and all of my fans to join this movement of contributing our quota to the rescue of this great nation.

     

    “We have begun and there is no stopping us.
