    Nigerian comedian, AY has lamented over the rate at which he has been getting unsolicited account numbers on his Instagram page.

    The entertainer who is celebrating the milestone of having 3.5million followers on Instagram, decided to reward his Instagram fans with recharge cards and cash prizes.

    However , the filmmaker became stunned when he got more than he bargained for. AY revealed that he has gotten over 2,000 account numbers in his Instagram inbox.

    He wrote:” Small give-away person phone and DM no fit rest from followers, friends, uncles and aunties from my village.Even Dangote cannot solve the problem of Nigerian and Nigerians as an individual.Not to talk of an ordinary comedian wey him work na to make people wey already dey vex for the government to laugh”

    Banky W sparked social media outrage when he erroneously shared on social media a video which showed his new wife, Adesua, in a compromising situation.

    Recall that the musician married his wife at a high-profile ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa recently.

     

    Following this occurrence, some of their fans and friends have urged them to take their marriage off social media.

     

    Nigerian singer, Chuddy K in a recent interview urged them to take their marriage off the glare of social media.

     

    According to him: “God bless their marriage but I think they need to stay off social media for a little bit. Social media people no nice. The same person that wishes you well will criticize you when things go bad will change, and start saying things that they are not supposed to say about you”.

     

    Nigerian comedian, AY who is a friend to the newly wed believes the couple cannot totally stay away from social media because their business revolves around it.

     

    Hear him: “Their business revolves around the media. There is no way they are going to stay off it. They have more than enough wisdom to take care of their homes. I can tell you that whatever negativity anyone is expecting, won’t work”.

  • AY plans new movie

    Popular comedian, Ayo Makun a.k.a AY is not just ready to rest on his laurels yet. The award winning entertainer and filmmaker has relished the amazing box office success of “30 Days in Atlanta” and “A Trip to Jamaica. He took to his Instagram page to share a photo from the production meeting of a new movie he is working on.

    He captioned it this way: “Production meeting is in progress for my new movie . #10DaysInSuncity #travel2sa#flysaanigeria,” he wrote.

    Recall that AY’s current movie “A Trip to Jamaica” grossed 168 million naira at the box office and Paul Campbell, Rebecca Silvera, Chris Attoh, AY Makun, Funke Akindele, Nse Ikpe Etim, Patoranking, Cynthia Morgan and Ras Kimono.
