    Ijoba Lande reacts as wife admits infidelity allegation with Baba Tee

    Nollywood actor, Ganiu Morufu, better known as Ijoba Lande, has disclosed that he will forgive his wife, Darasimi, for sleeping with his colleague, Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee.

    TheNewsGuru reports that Lande, in an interview posted on his YouTube page, disclosed that his wife cheated on him with over 21 actors in the movie industry, insisting he had evidence to support his claims.

    Among those he called out was Baba Tee, whom he mentioned in an Instagram post and the viral interview.

    Baba Tee had earlier denied the claims, challenging Lande to bring evidence that he truly slept with his wife or face the law, however, backtracked in a live interview with socialite, Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday.

    Baba Tee, in a new twist, admitted sleeping with Lande’s wife while claiming that it was a short sexual relationship that was never meant to happen but did because he was drunk while playing ‘Truth or Dare’ game with Dara and Marygold.

    Also addressing her husband’s allegations is Dara, who explained that she merely sat on his leg during a ‘Truth or Dare’ game initiated by her friend, Mary Gold.

    However, Dara has denied that cheating led to the collapse of their marriage, insisting that the allegations are false and misleading.

    Addressing his fans and followers during a TikTok live session on Monday, March 10, 2o25, Lande said, expressed willingness to forgive his wife but will not take her back.

    He said, “I will not accept her back but for me to make it to heaven and make God to forgive me. I will forgive her for what she has done, but she is gone. No matter what anyone do to you in this life, if they ask for your forgiveness, please forgive the person. But do not allow the thing to repeat itself, do make same mistake twice.”

    Popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee has opened up about having a “short” sexual experience with the wife of comedian and skit maker, Ganiyu Morufu, aka Lande’s wife, Dara.

    He said, “When Marygold and Dara came to my house. She (Marygold) claimed that she wanted me to be an MC for an upcoming programme of hers despite not telling me that she was coming with anyone. She introduced Dara as a content creator and not as Lande’s wife. They began to ask if I had a Qatar connection before the ‘Truth or Dare’ game suggestion came up.

    “So immediately we began the game, Marygold went completely naked and was daring me consistently to Dara while she kept taking alcohol as a choice of not wanting to do the tasks that I demanded from her. Rather than throwing more ‘Truth’ to me, they were hurling ‘Dare’ at me.

    “Marygold now dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her and she (Dara) obliged. So, the reason I said I never slept with Lande’s wife was because Marygold never introduced her as that to me, she called her a content creator. I will not deny that I had a short sexual intercourse with her, it is the first time I am saying it. It is now that I discovered that it was a set-up by both of them to malign my personality.”

    After the truth had unravelled, Esabod then advised Baba Tee to formally apologise to Lande because it was more like a betrayal because the actor had earlier denied that he slept with his wife and threatened the comedian with a lawsuit.

    Reacting shortly after the interview, Babatee in a short message on his official Facebook page on Monday, apologised to Lande.

    He wrote, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge…Hmmm. I fear women.”

    The actor alleged that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry had been involved with her.

    Lande also called out Baba Tee on Instagram, claiming he was one of the men involved.

    In a recent YouTube video, Baba Tee denied the allegations, arguing that he had never met Lande’s wife until mid-last year, when she was introduced to him by actress Marygold as a “content creator and upcoming artiste”.

    The actor claimed that he only discovered the woman’s true identity as Lande’s wife after overhearing a conversation between her and Marygold.

    Baba Tee expressed shock at Lande’s public call-out, stating that he had only met Lande once.

    He challenged Lande to provide evidence to support his allegations.

    “I have never met Lande’s wife all my life, never spoken to her, I did not even know what she looks like until mid last year when Marygold called me as regards an MC job, because I am a standup comedian as well,” he said.

    “She called that she was in my estate and she wanted to see me regarding the launch of her movie.

    Marygold actually came, but she barged in with a total stranger and I asked question why she would bring someone I did not know to my house.

    “Marygold said that girl is a content creator and upcoming artiste, that was how she introduced the girl to me. I overheard them talking in my apartment, Marygold was saying it seems Baba Tee is already aware.

    “I had to barge in and ask what does Baba Tee know? It took a while before she confessed to me that the lady was Lande’s wife. And I was like why did you not introduce her as Lande’s wife, why introduce her as Dara, the content creator?

    “The next thing I heard was Lande calling me out on Instagram, raining insults on me and saying he used to prostrate for me. I was shocked because I have only seen Lande once in my life.

    Lande, I am putting this to you, present the evidence for the allegations levied against me. Present the evidence to the world where I am sleeping with your wife and having an affair with her.”
