    Departing Bayern Munich’s striker and Barcelona’s new acquisition, Robert Lewandowski, has stated reasons he agree to  join the Spanish club side.

    According to him, he pushed to join Barca because he wanted to play in a different league.

    €45 million fee has been agreed by both sides for the 33-year-old, who had just one year left in his contract. at the Allianz Arena.

    Lewandowski will now bring an end to his eight-year stint with Bayern.

    “I wanted to play in a different league than the Bundesliga, this decision had been made for me for a long time.

    “But I have to emphasize: It was the most difficult decision of my life.

    “I wanted to live somewhere else again, to discover something new with my family,” he told Bild.

    Bundesliga: Ronaldo looks in Bayern Munich’s direction

    Portuguese football expert, Pedro Sepulveda, has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will not sign for Manchester United’s domestic rivals.

    Reports emanating from Ronaldo’s camp says that he may be looking in the direction of German champions, Bayern Munich.

    Speaking with Sky Sports, Sepulveda reiterated that Ronaldo was looking to play in the Champions League next season.

    “You can forget the English clubs – Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham. I’m 100 per cent sure Ronaldo will not play for another club in England.

    “Ronaldo doesn’t fit into the new project at PSG

    “It leaves Bayern Munich as an option.

    “Bayern were a little bit confused when (Jorge) Mendes offered them Ronaldo as he’s not the type of player they’d usually look for,” he said.

    Ronaldo is not expected to fly out with the rest of the United squad for their preseason tour on Friday.

    Egypt and Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, has eulogized former teammate  Sadio Mane  and wished him the best of luck after he completed his transfer to Bayern Munich.

    Bayern Munich has unveiled the Senegalese in Munich on Wednesady in a deal worth £35.1 million and a contract that runs till 2025.

    The Senegalese superstar leaves Anfield after six seasons, five of which were with Salah.

    In his reaction, Mane replied on Instagram by commenting: “Keep doing your things. Brother you are the best.”

    There are controversies surrounding Salah’s contract talks as there are insinuations that Salah could leave Liverpool as a free agent next season.

    Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Liverpool striker Sadio Mane.

    Mane joins Bayern on a three-year contract, for a fee mooted to be between €35-45m.

    The Senegal captain said: “I am very happy to finally be at FC Bayern Munich.

    “We had many conversations and from the beginning I felt the great interest of this great club. So I had no doubt from the beginning: this is the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve many things with this club, also internationally.

    “Even during my stay in Salzburg, I followed a lot of FC Bayern matches, I like this club a lot.”

    Departing Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has admitted his heart was already in Bayern Munich the moment his agent told him about the interest.

    The Bayern Munich  forward has now completed a medical, bringing to an end a six-year stint at Anfield.

    Mane joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016.

    Mane made his intentions to leave Liverpool known towards the end of last season.

    According to media reports, Mane is expected to earn about 250,000 pounds weekly at Bayern Munich.

    Bayern have finally reached an agreement on a deal which will see them pay an initial £27.1million for the Senegalese talisman.

    The fee could rise to £35.1m and although neither club have officially announced the transaction, he has been spotted in Bayern gear and completed his first interview with reporters in the country he will now ply his trade in.

    “When my agent first told me about Bayern’s interest, I was immediately excited.

    “I saw myself there right away. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here.

    “My agent told me that there were enquiries from other clubs. But I got the feeling right away when Bayern presented their plan to me. I found myself in Bayern’s plan more than anyone else,” Mane told BILD.

  • Sadio Mane completes medical at Bayern Munich

    Senegalese  forward, Sadio Mane, completed the first part of his medicals in Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

    Mane, who has been signing autographs wearing a Bayern Munich top for the first time, is now expected to check into a hotel to take photographs and sign a three-year contract with the Bundesliga champions.

    Recall that Bayern Munich has already agreed to a £35m deal with Liverpool to sign the forward.

    Mane’s contract runs till August 2025.

    The Senegalese international joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer of 2016.

    Mane would be a replacement for wantaway Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski, who has been linked to a Barcelona transfer, or winger Serge Gnabry, who is stalling over a contract extension.

    Liverpool will receive €32m up front for the forward, with a further €6m due when he meets a specified appearance clause and an additional €3m based on individual and team achievements.

    Mane could make his debut for Bayern when they face RB Leipzig in the season-opener DFL Supercup on July 30.

    Senegalese star, Sadio Mane was willing to stay with Liverpool – if they had made him the club’s highest-paid.

    Mane is on his way to Bayern Munich for a fee rising to €50m. Final terms are expected to be thrashed out today with a Bayern delegation now on Merseyside.

    The Mirror says Mane only had 12 months left on his Anfield contract and verbally agreed terms on a three-year deal with Bayern worth a reported £250,000-a-week, leaving Liverpool with little bargaining power.

    Mane had demanded to become Liverpool’s top earner to sign a new deal to stay at Anfield and Liverpool was not prepared to smash their wage structure to keep a player who was 30 in April.

    Mane leaves Liverpool having scored 120 goals in 269 appearances, to help them win the Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

    Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are set to make a third offer worth 40 million euros (41.8 million dollars) for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, a German media report indicated on Tuesday.

    It said the Munich club’s leadership has approved the offer made up of a transfer fee of 35 million euros plus up to five million euros in add-ons.

    The report also said the Senegal captain has agreed personal terms of a three-year contract with the German top side.

    The 30-year-old Mane came to Liverpool in 2016 and his Anfield contract is until 2023.

    Bayern Munich reportedly have had two lower offers for Mane rejected by Liverpool.

    The Germans want Mane because the future of their winger Serge Gnabry and that of star striker Robert Lewandowski is unclear.

    Both are contracted until 2023 and Lewandowski has said he wants to leave in summer with Bayern Munich however saying they would not allow that.

    Bayern Munich had late Monday announced the signing of Dutch midfield talent Ryan Gravenberch on a five-year contract.

    The 20-year-old is their second summer transfer and like defender Noussair Mazraoui arrives from Ajax Amsterdam.

    While Mazraouni joins Bayern Munich on a free transfer, the fee for Gravenberch, whose Ajax contract was until 2023, was named at 18.5 million euros by Ajax.

    There is also up to 5.5 million euros in add-ons, while Ajax will get 7.5 percent of the sum Bayern Munich would generate should they sell the Dutch international.

    “Ryan Gravenberch is a young, highly interesting player who lots of Europe’s top clubs would have liked to have signed,” Bayern Munich’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Oliver Kahn said, naming players like Gravenberch as “important for Bayern Munich’s future path.”

    Gravenberch will be competing in the Bayern Munich midfield against the likes of Germany players Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka but he appears ready for the challenge.

    “When the offer came from FC Bayern, I didn’t have to think about it for long. FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs around. Players from all over the world want to play for this club,” he said.

    Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is ready to put pen to paper on a £175,000-per-week deal at Barcelona.

    Mundo Deportivo says the 33-year-old will sign a three-year contract with the Catalans worth £27m.

    Paris Saint-Germain had threatened to hijack the deal at the eleventh hour, but the Polish superstar is said to be loyal to the LaLiga giants.

    The move will speak the end of Lewandowski’s eight years at Bayern Munich, during which time he has scored as astonishing 344 times in 374 appearances.

    Bayern are demanding €40m from Barca to sell the veteran.

  • Bayern Munich chief offers to settle Mane fee personally

    Bayern Munich chief Hasan Salihamidzic has told Liverpool he’s willing to fly to Merseyside to conduct negotiations for Sadio Mane face-to-face.

    The Reds rejected a first offer of €30m including bonuses from Bayern earlier this week.

    BILD says to smooth relations, sporting director Salihamidzic has offered to fly to Anfield this week to personally conduct the transfer negotiations. Bayern CEO, Oliver Kahn, is said to be willing to be part of the delegation.

    Bayern have already agreed a three-year contract with Mane.

    Should Liverpool be open to the visit, Salihamidzic will jet in armed with an improved proposal.
