    Former Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemate, Doyin David, has opened up on her experiences after participating in a Nigerian reality TV show.

    TheNewsGuru reports that Doyin, while speaking during a recent podcast, frowned at the organisers of the reality show and how they portrayed contestants, saying it often creates misleading impressions about their true personalities.

    The 31-year-old further stated that Nigeria’s highly judgmental environment worsened the experience, stressing she will no longer participate in any Nigerian reality show, irrespective of the payment.

    The BBNaija star who revealed that her experience on BBNaija was mentally draining, hinted at being open to appearing on a reality show outside the country under different circumstances.

    She said, “When you go on a reality TV show. They portray you how they want to portray you. Not everything is how you really are, but they’ve given everybody an impression of you, and some of those impressions are not true. There’s a lot that people think about me and think I am, in terms of my personality, that is really not who I am at all.

    “Being on a reality TV show, my experience was very challenging mentally, very exposing. I wouldn’t do it again for any amount of money. Except it’s a reality TV show outside the country, then I’ll probably take it. But Nigerians are too judgmental, so no, I’m not blessing them with my presence ever again”.

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nengi has reacted to the massive criticisms she received over her see-through outfit at a recent event.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the reality star was seen in public for the first time since her childbirth in February 2025 rocking a see-through outfit.

    Reacting, netizens dragged the mother of one for wearing such an outfit despite being a new mother. 

    Reacting to the ongoing snide remarks from netizens, Hampson took to her Instagram on Monday afternoon to address the situation.

    She explained in a 2-page statement that she is currently trying to gather confidence in herself and her image following her childbirth.

    The new mother made a petty remark about “wearing a wrapper and head tie” for the next event she intends on attending.

    “2 months post-emergency C-section. Not cleared for the gym yet. Still healing, still learning to love this new body even though sometimes all I have is a tiny thread of confidence. And I’ll take every little moment that helps me feel like me again (Sic).”

    She later added, “Okay, okay, next time I’ll tie a wrapper and a head tie… y’all happy now? Lol”

    Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Beauty Tukura has confirmed the end of her relationship with her colleague Neo Akpofure.

    The reality star in an interview on Toke Moments, disclosed that she is now single while referring to Neo as her “ex”.

    She also likened their relationship to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, adding that the relationship was “beautiful” while it lasted.

    Beauty said the reason for their breakup was “valid,” although she did not disclose the cause of their split.

    The reality star added that the next man she posts online will be her husband.

    “He is my ex, I’m single. We were Rihanna and Asap when it lasted. It was a beautiful relationship when it lasted. I was happy being with him at the time,” she said.

    “The reason we broke up was valid. For now, I have no opinion on whether we could possibly come back together.

    “I’m now focused on myself, I’m not interested in any man right now. At this point, I’m just waiting for my husband. Any man I’m posting next is going to be my husband.”

    The beauty queen said she has decided to keep her relationships private moving forward.

    “I won’t date publicly like that anymore. A relationship is better when it is private because there is no extra opinion,” she added.

    “But in a public relationship, we are plenty in it. His family, my family and the whole world. Having the BBNaija’s fanbase also added pressure to the relationship, there is no privacy.

    “They are watching you and invested in the relationship so it comes with a lot of pressure. You have to watch everything you do, how you talk about him.

    “The pressure also takes an emotional toll on you. I just got out of a relationship. I’m trying to heal, but I’m reading the backlash, so at what point do I have time to heal and move on?”

    Former Big Brother Naija cum Nollywood actress, Bambam has opened up about a near death childbirth experience, whilst  shedding light on the often-overlooked issues of postpartum care and medical negligence.

    The reality star during a recent feature on Me and My Girls on Fertitude, disclosed that her kidney failed, heart weakened, and liver almost shutting down during childbirth.

    She further explained how her daughter detached from the placenta, but delayed arrival at the hospital, which according to her, could have led to stillbirth.

    The ‘Love in every word actresss’ expressed gratitude to the medical intervention that saved her and her daughter’s lives.

    According to her, the ordeal left her with emotional scars, adding that she had to undergo therapy to cope with the lingering “what ifs.”

    “My kidney failed, my heart became weak, my liver, everything was just shutting down. She had detached from the placenta; if I was a second late, she would have lost oxygen, and I would have had a stillbirth. Every time I look at her, I just say ‘what if’. That word tormented me; what if the doctor wasn’t attentive? What if the nurse didn’t do her due diligence? It haunted me for a while, I had to get therapy to walk me through being grateful”, she said.

    The reality star via the microblogging platform X, formerly Twitter, announced that her newest pet has arrived, sharing a video of an orange Lamborghini worth a whopping four hundred fifty-five million Naira.

    Mercy noted how many predicted it as she bragged about owning a Lambo.

    Former Big Brother Housemate, Bamike ‘Bambam’ Olawunmi, has rescued a troubled Malawian woman who attempted to end her life over martial crisis.

    According to reality star via her Instagram page, the husband of the mother of three had instructed her to commit suicide.

    Bambam who called for recommendations of a rehabilitation center disclosed that the mother of three was spotted on a water tank with a rope around her neck at Megamound Estate, Lekki-Ajah.

    “I need a phone number, address, help line or suicide watch center. This woman almost took her life at Megamound estate, Lekki-Ajah,” she wrote.

    “Her husband, two brothers, and side chic are inside the house with her three children. One of them is still breastfeeding! People are evil! How have we lost our humanity?”

    Bambam, in a follow-up Instagram post, disclosed that the Lagos state government had intervened and taken over the case.

    The reality star also expressed her gratitude to actress Omoni Oboli and her team for prioritizing the woman’s safety.

    She wrote: “I have spoken to @justadetoun and Lagos state has taken over the case. The woman and her 3 sons are safe.

    “God bless everyone who called and reached out. Thank you ma @omonioboli and the team who prioritized the case at the expense of production and stayed on the call till we sorted this family out. There are still real kind people in the world.

    “Please, don’t take your life because of 1 wicked son or daughter of Adam please, because of these people that made tonight happen, there is still faith in humanity. I’m at peace now.

    “Prolonged exposure to domestic violence both physical and emotional can lead women to have mental break downs! Speak up and look out for women around you. Lagos Nigeria thank you.”

    The reality TV star, while speaking with Chude Jideonwo, shared some personal struggles he experienced with his wife, Kassia before the entering the reality show and how she stood by him.

    He disclosed that he had lost all his money to betting, which plunged him into depression and overwhelming guilt.

    He also added that he at some point, considered breaking up with her because of how broke he was, but she resisted and came to his rescue.

    He said: “I had some money, but because I wanted more, the money was not enough; I started gambling with it and then lost it all. I was depressed. Every night, I was awake, thinking. Then she was the one who came to my rescue.

    “I was thinking one day; I called her and said, let’s just break up. I feel I don’t have what it takes to really care for you because I feel guilty most of the time that there are things I’m supposed to be doing.”

    He also discussed his time in the BBNaija house, admitting that he kept his marriage a secret but remained true to himself throughout the show.

    “Even if you lie on your bed for the rest of your life, trouble will still come. I think I prefer the trouble that comes with ₦60 million. The only thing I had to fake was that I was in the house with my wife; every other thing, I was just being myself,” he added.

    Former Big Brother Naija star and ex-str!pper, Chichi, has expressed gratitude to God after she narrowly escaped a disastrous accident at her house.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that the reality star took to her Instagram page to share a video of the aftermath of a plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling collapse in her bedroom.

    According to ChiChi, the incident occurred shortly after she was about to retire to bed for the day. The video shared also indicated that no one was injured except for the ceiling fan, which was damaged.

    Sharing the video of her instagram stories, the reality star, wrote, “God is the greatest, Thank you my God.”
