    More trouble for #BBNaija host, Ebuka

    Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, popularly known has Ebuka, might be in for big trouble after he blatantly referred to follower of the reality TV show “unintelligent”, “bored” and “Idiots all”.

    First, one of the housemates in the ongoing BBNaija show, Cee-C was alleged to be his sister in-law. Now, it is even something messier.

    Ebuka, probably angered by a female follower of the reality TV show on Twitter, could not hold back, and referred to the female follower of the TV show as “very very unintelligent” before adding “Idiots all”.

    A lady that goes by the Twitter handle: @PhindilePmonosi alleged Ebuka is dating Cee-C, one of the favourites for the Big Brother grand prize of N45 million.

    “I don’t understand first Cee-C was Ebuka’s wife sister now she is his ex-girlfriend . What is next,???” @PhindilePmonosi tweeted.

    “People are obviously very very unintelligent and bored. Idiots all!!!” Ebuka responded.

    Followers of the show had since showed concerns on Ebuka’s response with some expressing surprise on how Ebuka managed the situation, indicating he might actually be having something to do with Cee-C.

    Cee-C has been fond of talking about Ebuka in the Big Brother house all the time and even insulted the host on an occasion. She even talked about how she met Ebuka on how she can be in the show.

    Obviously, Ebuka worked effortlessly to make sure Cee-C made it through the very crowded audition in the house.

    Meanwhile, followers of the show are saying Ebuka showed be cautioned for daring to insult people who actually are the ones that make the show what it is.

    This week, Cee-C, who has incessantly caused commotions in the house, was nominated for possible eviction alongside Miracle, Nina, Alex, Rico, and Lolu.

    She likely might be evicted on Sunday.

    Following the reset of Big brother Nigeria 2018 reality show, housemates have nominated six persons for possible eviction.

    The BBNaija housemates voted this way:

    Khloe-Nina, Alex

    Miracle-Cee-c, Lolu

    Alex-Rico, Cee-C

    Lolu-Cee-C, Miracle

    Tobi-Lolu, Nina

    Anto :Cee-C, Rico

    Rico-Cee-C, Lolu

    Nina-Cee-C, Lolu

    Cee-C-Alex, Lolu

     

    Khloe as the new head of house, picked a card with immunity but with the condition that she has to put another housemate up for eviction. In the process, she nominated Miracle.

    All in all, Miracle, Nina, Alex, Rico, Cee-C and Lolu are up for eviction.

     

    Recall that Bambam and Teddy A were evicted on Saturday and Sunday respectively, putting a literal end to their love story on the show.

    #BBNaija:Controversies trail Sunday evictions result

    Several controversies have trailed BBNaija’s Sunday eviction results, as concerns raised from various quarters suggest the results might have been ‘rigged’.

     

    This is the first time the show, which is in its third season, has been accused of tampering with votes for gains and ratings.

     

    Prior to the show, several viewers on Twitter had suggested that they knew what the results were going to be, due to perceived ‘favouritism’ on the part of the organisers.

     

    A Twitter handle @BBNaija Leaks wrote on Saturday, “So as we promised informing you On This Week Leaked Result;

    1st-Nina

    2nd-Teddy A

    3rd-Cee c

    4th-BamBam

     

    “Which One or Two of the names above would be evicted from the #BBNaija Game.”

     

    Few hours later, the same handle tweeted, “So information just got to us that due to our accurate leaks, Teddy A would be the victim(eviction) of a flipped script tonight ’cause @BBNaija and his crew are trying to save face.”

     

    In response to the trending ‘leaks’, host of the show Ebuka Obi-Uchendu tweeted @Ebuka, “Predictions are not leaks.”

     

    However, on Sunday, the show came under ‘fire’ again when a viewer calculated the votes gotten by each nominated housemates and revealed that they did not add up to hundred per cent.

     

    According to the votes, Nina had 44.00 per cent, CeeC had 24.38 per cent, Teddy A had 16.81 per cent and BamBam gathered 13.37 per cent.

     

    Highlighting the errors, a viewer @ib_Granville tweeted, “See what was wrong with last night’s results

    1) Votes don’t sum up to 100%.

    2) Wrong display, it’s usually in form of a bar chart with their names, not pictures.

    3) That’s not the official portrait for BamBam, a different picture was used.

    @BBNaija ???”

     

    Minutes later, show organisers responded to the queries through their official Instagram handle @bigbronaija, writing: “Dear viewers, an incorrect percentage was published for Nina during this night’s eviction show.

     

    “While we deeply regret this error, we wish to state that the audited and verified percemtage for Nina is 45.44 per cent as opposed to the previously published 44 per cent.

     

    “We thank you for your usual support and understanding,” they said.

     

    Viewers, however, have expressed deep concerns over the authencity of the show results, some fearing that their favorites might be affected.

     

    Despite the apology issued by the show organisers some other viewers have taken to social media to table their disappointments.

     

    @isibor.grace wrote on Instagram, “I hope you won’t make mistake to announce the real winner.”

     

    @joy.oj wrote, “How many other housemates have you done this to? You decided to post this because you were called out for the missing 1.44 per cent. Continue.”

     

    Meanwhile, Nina, CeeC, Tobi, Miracle, Lolu, Anto, Alex, Rico Swavey and Khloe are left to battle for the star prize worth 45 million naira.

    His eviction was another rude shock to viewers of the show owing to the fact that the two lovebirds were sent packing in less than 48 hours.

    Official sponsor of the ongoing Big Brother Naija show, Payporte, expressed their displeasure at the comments made by housemate Cee-C about her party dress before she altered it on Saturday. Recall that the outspoken housemate had condemned the style of the multi layered floor length dress, tagging it “a waste of time and cloth by the tailor”.

    Her comment generated frenzy on social media, with many condemning her over ripping the dress apart.

    However, Cee-C’s team represented by her sister Vanessa, has tendered an apology on behalf of the BBNaija housemate.

    According to her: “Since last night it has been all tension following the readjustments Cee-C made to the clothes given her.

    .

    It has also been a tough decision to make on what step I should take knowing that this incidence occurred inside the House and Cee-C is not here to speak for herself. But nonetheless I will make a statement on the capacity of her sister.

    .

    I want to apologize for the rather unnecessary statement that Cee-C made about the attire given to her by @payporte.

    .

    I’m not there with them as all of us here. But from previous happenings, it may seem that the housemates are not adequately informed about their task of modelling these attires for the brands that make them. I guess this is why some of the housemates go ahead to make amendments to them.

    It would be more effective if @payporte were to communicate their displeasure to the housemate through their usual communication medium so that Cee-C would make an apology of her own which would be seen as more authentic, genuine and personal than what I have shared here.

    BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ housemate Bambam was shocked when after the Saturday party held on 31st of March 2018, Ebuka declared that she has been evicted from the Big Brother house.

    Previously, fellow housemates Bitto and Princess (Pritto), Deeone and Vandora (Vandee) Angel and Ahneeka(Gelah) saw their chances of winning the grand prize cut short as they were evicted.

    Recall that during her diary section, Bambam said her parents who are disciplinarians and conservative do not believe in some of the things she does in the house.

    Bambam’s family friend, Fisayo Awonuga, had alleged that her parents were angry with her over having sex with Teddy A in the toilet.

    She said:”My parents might be disappointed with me but I just hope they are not.

     

    ”They are disciplinarian and conservative, they don’t believe in somethings I have done in the house.

     

     

    ”I might have disappointed them with my actions in the house. My parents want me to be a career woman but I am here in Big Brother house because this is my life and I want this.

    Evicted Big Brother housemate, Dee One, has said his wife blamed him for being rigid in the house before his eviction from the reality show.

    Recall that Dee one and his strategic partner , Vandora were one of the first sets of housemates to be evicted from the BBNaija house.

    Speaking in a recent encounter with Galaxy TV, the comedian noted that his wife did not welcome the idea that he was uptight with women in the house particularly his strategic partner.

    “She is my number one fan, she supports me in everything. I didn’t want to go to the auditions, nah she tell me to go.

     

    ” I have been trying to get into the house for about four years before I finally got the chance. When I came back she was blaming me. She told me that ‘you sef, you for…”

    “My wife didn’t give up on me, she even campaigned for me to go back to the house.”

  • #BBNaija: Team Yobo defeats team Ikpeba

    Veteran Nigerian football stars, Joseph Yobo and Victor Ikpeba visited the #BBNaija house on Wednesday 28th of March 2018 and the housemates could not get enough of them. They were practically all over them. The football stars were accompanied by Chisom Mbonu, a popular TV presenter

    The housemates were divided into two teams- team Yobo and team Ikpeba. Team Yobo comprised of housemates like Lolu, BamBam ,Miracle ,Nina and Tobi , while team Ikpeba comprised of Teddy A ,Rico Cee-C, Alex and Khloe.

    The novelty match took place at the BBNaija arena where sporting activities takes place.

    At the end of the match , team Yobo defeated team Ikpeba and Miracle turned out to be the man of the match.

    Thereafter the housemates congregated in the house as the football stars shared with them their inspiring stories of success and triumph.
