    Evicted Big Brother Naija 2018 housemates, Leo and Ifu Ennada were beaming with smiles as they were given their N2.5 million each from Pepsi for winning the Pepsi “Roc da mat” challenge.

    Recall that Leo and Ifu were strategic partners during the show . They also won an all-expense paid trip to London for the Pepsi sponsored One Africa Music Festival later this year and also one year supply of Pepsi and Aquafina water.

    In the challenge, housemates after finding a mat must dance to the song played by biggie, after which rewards would be awarded to the housemates with the highest points.

    #BBNaija: Please forgive Alex for crying-Mother cries out

    Mother of BBNaija 2018 housemate, Alex, Ebere Asogwa, has asked that Nigerians forgive her daughter over her emotional outbursts, adding that Alex inherited crying from her.

    She urged Nigerians to overlook her daughter’s flaws and vote for her

    Mrs Asogwa wrote on Instagram: “Good evening my people, my name is Mrs Ebere Asogwa from Enugu state, Nigeria. I am the mother of Alex who is currently in the Big Brother Naija house, she is my biological child and I raised her myself so I can tell a lot about her.

     

    “Alex is a very emotional person, when she gets angry and does not want to react, she cries it out just like me. She picked it from me. Initially I was angry about the way she cried when Leo was evicted and I had to ask myself so many questions about what is happening but I answered the question myself.

     

    “All she did was picked from me, even as a mother when I get angry and I don’t want to be harsh on anyone I move to a corner and cry it out. Unfortunately there is no hiding place in BBNaija because there are cameras everywhere so you all see her crying all the time.

     

     

    “Please all of you that picked on her on the way she cried should please forgive her, I have forgiven her. She has apologized during her dairy session on Monday. I forgave her in most ways that offended all of us because she has realized her mistakes.

     

    “At a time she was withdrawn from activities in the house but I thank God she has come back to her senses. I thank you all that have been voting and praying for her because this has kept her going thus far. Ten people have gone but Alex is still there, we thank you all.”

    Simi to serenade fans at BBNaija

    Soulful and multiple award winning singer, Simi is set to perform at the ongoing Big Brother Naija eviction show on Sunday.

     

    The ‘Jamb Question’ singer will regale guests and viewers of the reality show with her melodious voice. She is expected to dish out hits from her repertoire of great singles off her eponymous album.

     

    With this, Simi joins other Nigerian artistes like Mayorkun, Kiss Daniel, Oritsefemi, Praiz, Dr. Sid and YCee, who have performed at the BBN house.

    Sim is known for singing mostly about love. The Covenant University Mass Communication graduate said she sings about love because it sells.

    According to her:” It is because love sells. When you talk about love, it encompasses so many things. Not women or sex alone, but issues that are love related that could keep you happy. I can’t see myself doing a song that is too political or not love related. It’s always good to carve a niche and spread it to other related issues without deviating”.

    Viewers of the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show could not believe their eyes yesterday when suddenly the broadcast shut down and stopped airing around 3pm. As the anxious viewers were still ruminating on what the probable cause of the interruption could be, the show’s organisers came up with an apology message for the break in transmission.

    Yesterday was the first time since the commencement of the reality show that viewers were experiencing a disruption in the broadcast.

     

    The message on the show’s dedicated channel, 198 on DSTV, simply read: “Apologies for the break in Transmission. We will be back soon.”

    The broadcast later resumed after whatever caused the interruption was fixed.

    Okechukwu Mac-Anthony known in the entertainment world as Okey Bakassi has been around in the make-believe world for over two decades. The entertainer preparing to host his first comedy show in years has reacted over the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

    He threw a jab at BamBam saying her bride price list for Teddy A has been compiled since Teddy A is already enjoying the benefits of marriage without payment. He also added that a movie lead role has been reserved for Alex titled ‘The Weeping Widow’.

     

    He wrote on Instagram:”Hello Big Brother, We the members of #bambam community have compiled the bride price list for #teddya to be submitted to him when he leaves #bbnaija2018 Since he’s already enjoying the benefits of marriage without payment, we added a 30% penalty fee.

    We have also reserved a movie lead role for our daughter #alex in a new movie titled “The Weeping Widow”.

    Our daughter #ceecee is not troublesome or unhappy as you may think, it’s just that the boys in the house are busy building muscles instead of locating her #weakpoint

  • #BBNaija: Cee-C, Tobi, Miracle others up for eviction

    As the on-going Big Brother Naija tagged Double Wahala continues to attract viewership, eight of the housemates are currently up for eviction.

    The housemates up for eviction are Cee-C, BamBam, Miracle, Tobi, Alex, Anto, Lolu and Teddy A, while Nina and Rico Swarvey are not up for eviction

    The upcoming eviction will be the sixth one for the season. The first saw the exit of Pritto (Bitto and Princess) and Van-Dee (Vandora and Dee-One), and the second saw the exit of Angel and Ahneeka. K Bule and the out-spoken Khloe were disqualified on account of verbal assault, while Ifu and Leo were evicted on Sunday.

  • #BBNaija: I felt bad seeing Alex crying-Leo

    Following Leo and Ifu Ennada’s eviction from the Big Brother Naija House, the stylish male housemate hassaid he felt bad seeing Alex,his in-house girlfriend crying.

    Recall that Leo and Ifu were shown the exit door on Sunday after amassing the lowest vote among other pairs: Tolex, Mito, and Ceelo.

    When asked while he was not smiling after their eviction, Leo, said, “I feel bad seeing Alex crying.

    “l made it clear I had a girlfriend to other housemates and never wanted to do anything because of my relationship outside.
    “It’s true that she has developed feeling for me. But I still want to access my relationship outside, weigh things and see what happens.”

    Weeks before Leo’s eviction, himself and Tobi had clashed over female housemate, Alex.

    Leo took his complaint to Angel, Cee-c and Ifu Enaada, lamenting that Tobi came in between him and his strategic partner, Alex.

  • #BBNaija: Leo, Ifu Enada evicted from evicted

    BBNaija “Double Wahala” housemates Leo and Ifu Ennada (Lifu) have been evicted from the show.

    The paired housemates are the fourth set of housemates to be evicted from the BBNaija “Double Wahala” house and fifth pair to depart the house.

    Previously, fellow housemates Bitto and Princess (Pritto), Deeone and Vandora (Vandee), Angel and Ahneeka(Gelah) were evicted from the show alongside Khloe and K-Brule (Ksquared) who were disqualified.

    Lifu saw their chances of winning the grand prize of 25 million Naira and an SUV cut short during the last nomination process on Monday.

    The Head of House(HoH) Bambam and her partner Rico(Bamco) who were immune from nominations decided to save Teddy A and Nena(Tena) and replaced them with Cee c and Lolu (Ceelo), leaving Lifu and the rest of the housemates up for eviction.

    Lifu narrowly escaped nominations last week.

    However this week, BBNaija host Ebuka Uchendu announced Lifu had received the lowest percent of votes from fans across the world compared to fellow housemates who were up for eviction this week.

    Earlier in the game, Lifu came out on top during the “Roc Da Mat” challenge.

    The pair won a prize of 5 million Naira, one year supply of Pepsi, Pepsi chillers and VVIP trip for One Africa Festival in London, England.

    Similarly, the two housemates were on the blue team that won the “Heritage Bank task presentation” that guaranteed them a lunch in Big Brother’s (Biggie’s) house on Saturday.

    Ifu Ennada revealed she stayed out of building any emotional relationship in the house because she is making a conscious effort to remain single this year for personal reasons

    The outgoing housemate admitted to feeling the urge to share a kiss with fellow housemate Rico Swarvey during their weekly Saturday night party last week.

    Fellow evicted housemate Leo seemed calm and more worried about a wailing Alex. He told Ebuka that spending most of his time sleeping in the house was a result of being bored most of the time.

    He said he was glad to go back to his business outside “Biggie’s” house.

    The powers of the Head of House(HoH) were slightly altered during the eviction show.

    Perennial BBNaija host Ebuka announced that the HoH would no longer be immune from nominations.

    Ten housemates now left in the game will continue to vie for the grand prize as individuals rather than in pairs.

    Big Brother Naija housemate, Ahneeka has spoken about her relationship with male housemates while in the house.

     

    Ahneeka revealed that did not connect with the guys in the house because of their romantic relationship with other female partners.

     

    “For some reason in the house, anytime I tried to talk to any guy in the house, people made it look like I was trying to steal their man. And Bambam was my girl so I couldn’t have her thinking like that, even though at some point she did.

     

    “So I was staying away from Teddy and he was making it known that I was being too reserved – It’s because of your babe [Bambam].

     

    “I could flow with you, you could be my G, but I’m just respectful to your babe and not to start some drama in the house.

     

    “So that was just my concern. I couldn’t connect to the guys because of their wives” she told PulseTV
