    Nigerian comedian and Big Brother 2018 housemate, Dee-one has disclosed why he was evicted from the show alongside his strategic partner, Vandora.

     

    The hilarious personality noted that he was evicted because people misunderstood his jokes and because of his ‘Mouth’

     

    Speaking in chat with African Magic, he said: “Every moment was memorable for me but my best moment was when I had to politely tell a fellow housemate no to one of those truth/dare games.

     

    “They do it to me often so It was my turn to get back.

     

    “On the part of cracking jokes, I think many people did not understand, it was just about making fun of people and I think I did a good job. My mouth must have caused my eviction. My comedy took me this far. The game is not sure for anyone. Look at what happened to the head of house” he said.

  • #BBNaija: Princess defends ‘fake’ accents

    Following her eviction, Big Brother housemate Princess has reacted to claims that her accent in the house was fabricated.

    The bubbly housemate who was evicted during Sunday live show together with her strategic partner, Bitto was condemned for having unpredictable and varying accents.

    Speaking in a chat with African Magic, Princess blamed her fabricated accent on too much watching of Television.

    She said:“I wasn’t speaking different accents, I just go back and forth a lot. And if anyone knows that when you go back and forth, it goes up and down.So that’s not my fault, I’ve probably watched too much TV, I don’t know, But then, I speak fluent English, fluent pidgin, fluent Igbo. I’m a true Nigerian.”

    Speaking further, she said:”I didn’t think I would be out this soon.I did bring plenty wahala. I was a straight up straight shooter. I never hid my feelings when someone tried to upset me, I was also a goofy person. I was always joking around as well. I was just me.

    That pairing f***d me the hell up. Sorry, language. But then again, that’s what just I feel. I mean, I was caught off guard being that I didn’t know the purpose of the pairing.”

  • #BBNaija: Big Brother bars housemates from taking alcohol, smoking

    Big Brother has placed an injunction on housemates from drinking alcohol, smoking and using swear words in the house till Friday.

     

    The ban on offensive language and drunkenness was proclaimed by Miracle, the new head of house.

    “No swear words, no alcohol and smoking till Friday,” Miracle read out the new rules to his dumbfounded fellow contenders on Tuesday morning.

    The housemates are not happy with the ban.

    Reacting to the ban, Teddy-A, said: “Make I go sleep since I can’t smoke something. Big Brother is targeting some people”.

  • BBNaija: Khloe returns home, pops champagne at the airport

    BBNaija housemates, Khloe and K.brule were disqualified on Sunday over inappropriate behaviour . However, Khloe who is being firmly supported by Denrele, is back home and was welcomed by family, friends and fans at the airport.

    Recall that the disqualification of the duo came after they received their third strike from Big Brother, which is as a result of a faceoff K.Brule had with Khloe.

    TheNewsGuru gathered that during the argument, Khloe called K.Brule’s mother a hoe after K.Brule called her a bastard.

     

    The third strike was all that was needed to disqualify them from the on-going reality TV show.

    Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Ahneeka on Sunday night stirred controversy on social media when she was seen allegedly masturbating after lights out.

    In the viral video, the media personality was seen touching herself

     

    However, some Nigerians have reacted in different forms over the video. While some said she masturbated as a result of lack of sex, others said she was simply sleeping.

    After one week of waiting to see the first set of housemates to be evicted from the big brother house, it’s just been announced that pair, PRITTO (Princess and Bitto) have been evicted from the big brother house.

    Similarly, another set of housemates who were evicted tonight is VANDEE (Vandora and Dee-one).

    Sadly, viewers won’t be enjoying the many jokes by Dee-one and would also miss the Pritto’s pair drama.

    Recall TheNewsGuru.com had earlier reported shocking disqualification of another controversial pair Khloe and K-Brule, who broke the rules of biggie in the house.

    The pair were hit with the total shock after Biggie announced to them that they’ve been dismissed from the big brother house for breaking his rules.

  • BBNAIJA: Biggie criticised for favouritism

    Fans of the popular show have turned their backs on Big Brother to what they perceive as injustice towards Lolu.

    “Biggies” attempt to stir up the mood in the house by introducing a bonding week task backfired as Cee-C and Lolu got involved in a disagreement during the process, thus leading to a stern reaction from “Biggie” .

    As Housemates were paired by “Biggie”, Lolu and Cee C got harnessed together. The two Housemates were unimpressed about having each other as partners for the task and they couldn’t hide their feelings about it.

    Cee-C who got fed up with having to put up with anywhere and anything her partner did, disobeyed Biggies instructions by removing the harness to sit down and in the process hitting Lolu on his inner thigh.

    The two housemates were faulted and punished by Biggie with two strikes each.

    The punishment was received with a lot of backlash from viewers who believe Tobi and Anto who are Cee-C and Lolu’s respective strategic partners in the “Double Wahala” themed show, should receive the same punishment because of the rule that goes with the unique theme.

    Khloe suffered a strike earlier in the game because of her strategic partners action. K-Brule jumped and hurt himself under the influence therefore breaking “Biggies” rule which restricts housemates from any form of violence including self harm.

    Fans of the show have expressed their discontent with “Biggies” latest punishment. Some fans believe Tobi is being favoured at the expense of Lolu because of his connections with Heritage Bank, one of the major sponsors of the show

    Another fan expressed her disappointment in “Biggies” decision on Twitter.
    She wrote “Whatever consequence you bring on yourself affects your partner. These were your words “Biggie” or you think the viewers are stupid yh? If you make a rule stick to it, don’t bend it to favour someone else. Damn!! #bbnaija.

    This seasons theme “Double Wahala” has drawn criticism for its idea which puts a favourite housemate at a disadvantage, if the partner is unpopular among the voters.
