    ‘I will never encourage abortion’ – Phyna clarifies  her stance on the controversial statement

    Ex-Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly called  phyna has clarified her stance on the controversial statement she earlier made on abortion.

    Phyna during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, argued that most women have  had abortion twice atleast once or twice.

    She disclosed during her stay in the Big Brother House that she has done an abortion in the past, said some people tried to use her revelation to troll her after the show, but she refused to be bullied.

    The statement generated controversy  online from fans and colleagues, including Nigerian female Disk Jockey, DJ Switch, who urged Phyna to avoid making such generalisation.

    In a statement via her Instagram page on Friday, Phyna admitted her mistakes, asserting she was too expressive in the heat of the interview and didn’t mean to project it on every female.

    The reality TV star said she does not encourage abortion and should not be seen in such a light.

    She further expressed commitment to working with gender-based organisations and NGOs to provide sensitisation and education about abortion and other issues prone to the girl child.

    The statement reads, “I write this statement to address the issue concerning an interview I did months ago where I talked about a very sensitive topic, and I inaccurately suggested all women have engaged in it.

    “Firstly, I will like to address the fact that in as much as I was misunderstood, I didn’t mean to project it on every female gender. I will never encourage abortion, especially not in this part of the world, where it can pose a great threat to the life of the person with the illegal and unhealthy procedure that surrounds it. I admit that I was being too expressive in the heat of the interview hence my assertions.

    “I will reiterate that abortion is not a thing I stand and I should not be seen in that light, and I admit to all mistakes. In addition, I’m currently working with gender-based organisations and NGOs to provide sensitisation, and education about abortion and other societal issues prone to the girl child, I want to use this medium to thank my fans, friends and family for their constant love and support, I do not intend to let you down.”

    Ex- Big Brother Naija housemate, Prince Nelson has launched his record label company, Pollux Records.

    Prince announced the development via his Instagram page on Wednesday.

    He recounted how he has been following music since his primary school days.
    The TV reality Star also unveiled the first artist under the record label, Valentiiano.

    He wrote, “Finally, the time has come for Me to officially present to the world officially, a very bold dream I had and have been nurturing for the past few years. Everyone who really knows me knows how much I love everything music, from my primary days buying songbooks to learn every song lyrics of Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, et al, to forming my own little “Mohits crew” with my friends to my dance crew in secondary school.

    “It has not been an easy feat caring and nurturing this dream, as I have constantly battled the fear of the so many “what ifs” that come with such a humongous venture. But alas, I am a strong believer in the saying, “God will not put a dream in your mind that is too big for you to handle.

    “So, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the birth of my record label, Pollux Records @polluxrecords

    “And on this note, I hereby announce Pollux Records’ first talent, Valentiiano @valentiianoo.”

    Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, simply known as Phyna, has posited that there’s hardly any lady who hasn’t done an abortion in her lifetime.

    According to her almost every woman has done it one or twice in their lifetime.

    The reality star, who disclosed during her stay in the Big Brother House that she has done an abortion in the past, said some people tried to use her revelation to troll her after the show but she refused to be bullied.

    However, while granting an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Phyna said, she confided in some persons about having an abortion once and some persons decided to troll her with it.

    She said  “When I came out of the Big Brother House, everybody wanted to chase clout with Phyna. Everybody was ready to do sh*t.

    “When I was in the House, there was a conversation, everybody was talking. Before I even come back to that. The issue of abortion, na who open up dem know, right? There’s no woman that can say she hasn’t done abortion once or twice.”

    Recall Phyna and Chichi had a heated altercation during the “Level Up” reunion after latter called her an “abortionist”.

    Phyna also fired back by alleging that Chichi was a divorcee who abandoned her husband and children in Benin to become a stripper in Lagos.

    Recently , both celebrities were caught on camera  in a romantic state and it sparked relationship rumours among social media users.

    Many social media users  berated Uriel, 34, for dating a younger man, Groovy, 29.

    Responding to her critics via her Instagram story, she said she would not reject love because of her age.

    In a series of posts, she wrote; “I’m Nigerian British. I will never reject love because of my age.

    “I deserve happiness. I won’t reject a caring man because I’m 5 years older.

    “Pls use Stan Eze and Blessing as a perfect example.

    “You won’t steal my happiness. Never!

    “You guys really think I owe you explanations.

    “Ok.. Boy meets single girl, single girl meets caring guy who loves her cooking.

    “Single girl feels protected. Single guy loves single girl’s heart and funny personality.

    “Single guy and girl didn’t think it was a crime to fall for another single person.

    Groovy reacted to her post by tagging her on his Instagram story with love emoji.

    Davido: I keep getting death threats – Phyna

    Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly  known as Phyna, has cried out saying she’s receiving death threats following her social media face-off with singer Davido.

    Recall that Phyna and Davido engaged in an altercation on social media on Wednesday after the singer liked a tweet that slammed the reality star.

    The BBNaija season 7 winner took to her X page to ask the singer what she had done wrong to warrant the hate from him.

    In his response, Davido said he didn’t know who she was and that his reaction was an honest mistake.

    Davido’s response generated an uproar on social media amongst the fans of both celebrities.

    Some hailed the singer for putting the reality star in her place while phyna’s fans berated him for denying the reality star who won the show in 2022.

    Meanwhile, on Thursday, Phyna claimed she had received numerous death threats following her social media brawl with Davido.

    On her X handle, she wrote, “I keep getting death threats oh. I’m not an artiste, make una nor kill me oh.

    Former BBNaija reality show  participant, Natacha Akide simply known as  Tacha, has continued to drag singer, Davido over the social media incident with another Reality star, Phyna.

    Tacha took to social media to show her support for Phyna, who found herself in a heated exchange with Davido.

    Recall that Davido had mistakenly liked a tweet shading Phyna and had later apologised to her, stating that he didn’t know her.

    While Jumping to her defence, Tacha assured Phyna that even if Davido doesn’t know her, God knows her and a lot of people know her.

    Not stopping there, Tacha has continued to drag Davido while tagging his apology as insincere but a measure to set Phyna up for futher dragging on social media.

    To make the singer understand better how his apology affected Phyna, she noted how AY’s joke against him was blown out of proportion and taken out of context, causing a backlash. Despite being a celebrity, the singer apologized for the incident.

    She stated that Davido could have done the same, and either overlooked the issue or apologised sincerely without setting her up with more dragging and insults.

    BBNaija: Doyin alleges death threat from unknown person

    Ex-Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has alleged she received a death threat from an unidentified person.

    The reality TV star took to social media to share the message on Tuesday.

    In the message, the sender argued they knew her personal information, including her current location, and threatened to make her suffer before killing her.

    “Have been calling you and you are not picking your call. No problem. I just want to let you know that all your information is with us, where you live and including where you are right now, the message reads.
    “We are watching you. I promise you I will kill you and I will make sure you feel the pain before I will kill you. Mark my words.”

    In response, she expressed shock and wrote “On top big brother o… wow wow. Some of you are quite extreme??‍♀️”.
    During the show, she was known for her outspokenness, and her dynamic relationship with Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of the All-Stars season.

    Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Ijeoma Josephine Otabor fondly called Phyna, has cried out over the state of her mental health.

    The hype priestess disclosed this in a post on Instagram at the weekend.

    This is coming weeks after Phyna’s father accused her of abandoning family members after she won the BBNaija show in 2022.

    In the post, she noted that the internal battles she is fighting are too big for her.

    “Jokes apart, I’m going through hell of shits. The internal battles I’m fighting are way bigger than me. Very honestly, for the very first time, my mental health is at stake,” she said.

    The first runner-up on the just concluded BBNaija reality show, Mercy Eke has swiftly denied her claims of having a rich lover.

    During their time in the Big Brother house, Mercy Eke revealed that her lover offered her 120 million naira in three months if she didn’t participate in the show.

    Mercy Eke revealed that her partner was possessively jealous and advised her not to participate in the show.

    She further said that he gave her 120 million Naira on purpose to discourage her from joining, but she declined.

    Mercy Eke, however, quickly reversed her position in an interview with Toke Makinwa, claiming that she lied about having a rich lover.

    According to her, she only said that in order to chase the male housemates away from her because she didn’t want a relationship.
