    BBNaija: I delivered on my assignment in Big Brother – Modella

    Esther Abimbola, popularly known as Modella, an ex-housemate of the ongoing reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has said she delivered on her assignment while in the house.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Modella made this known on Thursday, saying she was convinced that she delivered on her promise to her fans in the course of the show.

    Modella, who entered the BBNaija house two weeks into the show as a fake housemate, was evicted on August 28.

    In a zoom media chat, Modella said she was sure she delivered good vibes and energy on the show and never disappointed her fans. She also said she did justice to her role as a fake housemate.

    “Coming into the show, I promised bringing in good vibes and energy which I did to the best of my ability. Going into the show, I had no idea of what to do, I went in like every other person there, on the scale of 10, I will rate myself 10, I did justice to my task as a fake housemate,” she said.

    According to Modella, her eviction was not shocking as she knew she was leaving that night having  shared all her “pocket naira”.

    “I knew I was going to leave, it didn’t come as a shock for me, I already shared my money, it is a win-win situation for all. I am happy, I was able to sell myself in a short while. I have not had any sad moment since my eviction, it is okay for me, I am enjoying myself,” she said.

    Commenting on her “situationship” with fellow housemate, Bryan, she said, “I love our friendship and I only wanted to maintain that in the house, I like him as a friend but he wanted more.”

    According to Modella, she is ready to welcome any business that comes her way as a fashion designer, film-maker, actor, model and skin care expert.

    Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Chiamaka Mbah, popularly known as “Amaka”, on Thursday said the reality show taught her to be more focused.

    Amaka during a zoom interview session with newsmen in Lagos said that aside being more focused, the show also taught her a few morals.

    “The Big Brother Naija show has been a springboard to sell my brand, I met different people and the show has taught me to be more focused in life.

    “l learnt a lot on the show, it has made me realise that I am me and I am in the best position to modify myself, I need to stand up for myself at all time and I learnt that women are strong beings.

    “My eviction was also a sad one for me but I  am trying to live on the energy I am getting from my fans. I had pure love for the housemates but it is what it is.

    “I already knew I was going to be nominated but didn’t see the eviction coming,” she said.

    She noted that going forward, she remained open to every sector of the entertainment industry and would be as focused and hardworking as much as she can.

    According to her, the most challenging of all the tasks in the house was the “Supa Komando” challenge which she never participated in.

    She said it was such a painful one for her when Biggie disqualified her from participating due to her refusal to engage in a mini task ahead of the “Supa Komando” challenge.

    “I enjoyed every bit of my stay in the Big Brother Naija house, I found  all the arena challenges interesting,” she said.

    Amaka,  who was at a point in the house sanctioned by Biggie for leaving the microwave oven on until it got burnt, said she was heartbroken due to the incident.

    “Leaving the microwave oven burnt was not intentional, the sight of the burnt remnants of the microwave oven left me heartbroken.

    Amaka predicted that either Hermes or Phyna would finally win the grand prize of N100 million as they had good fan base and were also doing well on the show.

    She described Hermes as an intelligent individual.

    “For me, I feel either Hermes or Phyna will win the grand prize because they have good number of fans and I can see Hermes as an intelligent fellow.

    “Hermes is one person I will love to roll with after the show; he is real; he gives good counsel; he is one person I can have as my friend after the show,” she said.

    Amaka was evicted on Aug. 29 after Biggie introduced a twist in the game. The housemates were made to nominate their fellow housemates for immediate eviction.

    Amaka was nominated for possible eviction by Chomzy, Gidifia, Adekunle, Bryan, Eloswag and Dotun.

    Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, ‘Level Up’ housemate, Daniella has expressed regret over her shameful action with Dotun.

     

    She made headlines after a video of her and co-housemate, Dotun getting intimate made rounds on the internet.

     

    Since Daniella’s love interest, Khalid left the house, the reality star had found comfort in the arms of Level One housemate, Dotun.

     

    At first, Daniella tried playing hard to get by pushing away the reality star, but the competitive housemate finally bowed to pressure as she gave in to him.

    On Monday, Dotun beat Phyna, Chichi, and Adekunle to emerge this week’s HOH.

    In a video that made rounds, Daniella was seen kissing and cuddling Dotun after days of denying any budding relationship between them.

     

    This had left many of Daniella’s fans displeased as they were rooting for her and her supposed evicted boo, Khalid.

     

    Recall that Khalid had vowed that Daniella would never fall for Dotun or any guy in the house.

     

    With the new video making rounds, many felt concerned for Khalid.

     

    Addressing their romance, Daniella broke down in tears as she expressed remorse for her action.

     

    During her Diary session, Daniella revealed how she regretted some of her actions.

     

    She admitted that she should have placed boundaries between herself and Dotun.

    Chef Tuma, sister to former Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, lockdown housemate, Nengi Hampson, has reacted to the alleged seizure of a Range Rover worth #37 million, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, belonging to the reality TV star.

     

    Nengi is currently trending as number one on Twitter following online reports that her #37m Range Rover has been confiscated by the Commission.

     

    It was gathered that a ponzi scheme owner, Micheal Diongoli, bought the N37m Range Rover for Nengi.

     

    According to online reports, Diongoli has been arrested by EFCC for operating a Ponzi scheme and defrauding his victims under the false pretence of multiple returns on investment within six months to one year.

     

    Following his arrest, many of the billionaire’s properties were confiscated, including the ones he gifted his numerous side chicks which according to reports, Nengi’s N37m Range Rover was among.

     

    Recall in July 2021, Nengi acquired a Range Rover worth over N37 million just a few months after she showed off her newly purchased mansion in Lagos.

    The reality TV star took to her Instagram story on Tuesday to show off her new SUV.

     

    In the videos posted on her Instagram story, Nengi was seen dressed in a white crop top and sweat pants, posing with her white Range Rover.

     

    It was alleged that the Range Rover was a surprise gift from Diongoli, who is suspected to be in a romantic relationship with the reality star.

    Reacting to the development, Tuma took to her page to reveal how her sister never wanted to be a part of the fame and spotlight.

    However, sometime July, the police arraigned a Ponzi scheme operator, Michael Diongoli, before a Federal High Court in Lagos State for allegedly defrauding a retired Army colonel, two professors, a co-operative society, among others of the sum of N1, 286, 580, 656.

     

    Diongoli is facing eight counts of conspiracy, obtaining by false pretences and fraud.

     

    The defendant was arraigned alongside his two firms, UK-Don Group and UK-Dion Investment Limited before Justice Lewis-Allagoa.

     

    He was accused of defrauding his victims, under false pretence of multiple returns on investment within the period of six months to one year.

     

    The prosecutor, Mrs Susan Ezema, a Chief Superintendent of Police, told the court that the defendants allegedly committed the offences betweeen December 2021 and April 2022.

     

    Ezema said the offences contravened sections 8 (a), 1(1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related to Offences Act 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act.

     

    The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

    Amaka emphasized that she did not want to have any issues with Diana as their friendship was the most valuable thing to her.

     

    She stated that she and Giddyfia are just close and have no titles.

    Recall that Amaka was evicted from the show, following a nomination twist in the house on Monday evening.

     

    Big Brother had asked all the housemates to nominate two fellow contestants for immediate eviction and Amaka got the highest nominations.

     

    Biggie announced Amaka’s eviction to the housemates at the lounge, following their nominations.

     

    However, fans noted that the eviction might be fake, because she wasn’t called to the stage for a final talk with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

     

    Also, Big Brother does not announce evictions, as that was Ebuka’s duty, hence the speculations and uncertainty surrounding Amaka’s ‘eviction.’

    Big Brother had earlier asked the housemates to pack their belongings and dress smart for the evening, even though they had games for the evening, with housemates not getting the hint of the immediate eviction until it happened.

    “I knew it, I knew it,” an evidently distraught Amaka mumbled as she paced around the lounge after being told to leave the Big Brother Level Up House immediately.

    She and the rest of the housemates paused for a moment before it dawned that Big Brother was not joking.

    With a total of six nominations, Amaka became the next housemate to be evicted from the game, missing out on a chance of vying for the highly coveted grand prize of N100m worth of prizes.

    Recall that Amaka had earlier in the day served a punishment for shortening the life span of the house microwave before falling under the hammer of the immediate eviction.

    She spent most of the day romancing, apologising, and eulogising the microwave, which was punishment for misusing the appliance.

    She had been issued a strike for several microphone infringement, and left with two more strikes to be disqualified from the show like fellow housemate, Beauty who was disqualified from the show.

    Following Amaka’s immediate eviction from the show, Big Brother put all housemates up for possible eviction eviction on Sunday, except the head of house, Dotun.

    TNG reports Dotun was confirmed the winner of the head of house challenge and was granted immunity from possible eviction this week.

    His victory came upon completion of this week’s head of house challenge, with the theme “Go hard or go home”, on Monday.

    Dotun, who had become immune from nominations for possible eviction, picked fellow housemate, Daniella, to share the head of house room with him.

    However, Daniella does not have immunity from this week’s nomination process.

    This week’s challenge consisted of two rounds. Male housemates played the first round of the game one.

    Two housemates of the ongoing television reality show, Big Brother Naija, Adekunle, and Chomzy, have emerged winners of the “Supa Komando” challenge.

    Biggie, the Coordinator of the show, announced the winners upon completion of the challenge on Saturday.

    He said the winners had become “Supa Komando Man and Woman”, while their reward would be announced later in the course of the show.

    The housemates were made to go through three phases of the challenge where they went through an obstacle course, a memory dance floor game, and finally the challenge of being the first to open a box.

    Adekunle, Daniella, Dotun, and Chomzy made the second phase of the game while Adekunle and Chomzy won the final phase of the challenge.

    Meanwhile, Amaka was disqualified from participating in the entire challenge because of her refusal to engage in a mini task, which was to strike a “Supahero” pose when the buzzer played as instructed by Biggie.

    The News Agency of Nigeria reports that there are 21 housemates currently on the show, bidding for the grand prize of N100 million.

    One of the Big Brother Naija, season 7 housemates, Shegz has attacked fellow housemate Chizzy following a disagreement that ensued between the latter and the former’s lover on the show,

    Shegz stressed that  Chizzy would  never be in the same space with him if not for the show that brought the two of them together.

    Chizzy had abused Bella and called her a local -dog during an argument that happened over food sharing in the house.

    Shegz couldn’t take it and rose in defense of her lover.

    He told Chizzy to always respect women, saying they wouldn’t have been in the same space, were it not for the show.

    According to him, the BBNaija house causes disrespect.

    “If not for Biggie, we would not be in the same space

    “Why are you disrespecting a woman? That is a violation. Why take it on her if you want to disrespect me go ahead and leave her out of it.

    “Being in this house just brings disrespect.”

    Recall that Shegz and Bella were issued a warning over their attitude to tasks.
