BREAKING: Big Brother dissolves BBNaija pairing in a cult-like ceremony

In what is an end to one chapter and the beginning of a new one, Big Brother, the unseen personality behind the voice in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house on Sunday dissolved the Season 9 BBNaija pairing in a cult-like ceremony.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the cult-like dissolution of the BBNaija Season 9 pairing implies that the housemates, who entered the house in pairs, will no longer compete as pairs but compete against one another as individuals.

“For the past five (5) weeks, you have had someone to hold your hands when you felt uncertain; you have had a shoulder to lean on when you felt weak, and you have had an active partner to protect you while you slept your days away. You have had someone to drive your partnership to ensure you comfortably arrived at this point.

“Housemates, Big Brother, hereby, removes your crutches. Henceforth, you will walk this path alone. The pairs are, hereby, dissolved, and your fate is now squarely in your hands.

“You will no longer be a passenger on someone else’s ride. You will no longer be allowed to live in another person’s shadow. You will compete for yourselves and if you choose not to compete and decide to spend the rest of your days eating and sleeping, be assured you will do so at your own peril,” Big Brother said.

Before the rituals for the un-pairing began, housemates were made to put on carton brown hooded spirit and soul robes in preparation for the ceremony held in the arena in the Big Brother house.

A big silver pot covered with a red lid was placed in the middle of the arena, where the un-pairing ceremony took place, without lights on. The housemates eventually dropped their duo name tags inside the pot.

Reacting to the question of considering marriage any time soon, Zion urged their fans to watch out on their space and follow up on activities.

Chinwe, reacting to her pregnancy rumour which came up after she announced feeling nauseous and experiencing a delay in her mentrual flow, said, “It was all a scare, there is no pregnancy, I am good.
