    Reality TV star, Tega Dominic, has again reiterated that she is a single mom  and not married.

    Tega revealed  that she claimed to be married while on Big Brother Naija season 6 show because it was her strategy for the game.

    She made this confession during the BBNaija reunion show which aired on Thursday night, saying that she  already separated from her hubby before getting on the Big Brother Naija house.

    She stressed that she wanted to use the marraige as strategy in the house, this was as she defended the romantic affair she had with Boma Akpore during the show.

    There was a backlash from viewers of the show on the romantic relationship between Tega and Boma, with many chastising Tega for being romantically involved with a male housemate as a married woman.

    “For a fact, I didn’t go into the show as married. I went in as separated. In all my interviews, I clearly stated it. I went in as separated,” Tega said.

    However, Tega has cleared the air on her marital status, saying she lied about being married.

    Tega added, “During our conversations and introductions, I just said well I’m married and I have a kid. That was supposed to be a strategy.

    “Getting deep into the show, I then discovered that this was doing something great in a bad way to me.”

    Speaking of her affair with Boma, Tega said, “To me, everything that was going on between me and Boma was all a cruise.”

    During the reunion show, Boma also revealed that Tega told him her marriage had ended, so to him, he was dealing with a single woman.

    Reality TV star and BBNaija  season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has reacted to claims that she speaks English with heavy Igbo accent.

    According to her, living in Owerri for many years has influenced her said.

    The Reality TV star made this confession in an interview with media personalty, Taymesan in a publication released on Friday.

    The Imo-born reality TV star noted that she was born and brought up in Owerri, the state capital, and that has affected her speech.

    “I was born in Owerri. I did everything in Owerri. In fact, I left Owerri in 2016,” Mercy said.

    Speaking of her upbringing, she said, “I’m the last child. I schooled in Owerri; with the help of my mum.I finished school. I did what I had to do. I left Owerri in 2016.”

    “I’m saying this because some people really don’t know. When they talk about my accent, Igbo accent, I look at them and say, ‘how do you want me to speak?’

    “I schooled in Owerri, primary and secondary. It was only the National Youth Service that made me leave Owerri. How do they expect me to speak?”

    She, however, added that she’d not be moved by what people say about her because of her originality.

    The entrepreneur said, “This is me. I’m confident. This is me. I’ve seen and met a lot of people.

    “And most of the top people in the world, like Cristiano Ronaldo, how does he speak? With an accent or in his language. And he’s the world’s most famous. People adore him.”

    Mercy, however, said that Nigerians want her to speak with a British accent, insisting that she’d keep on being original.

    Mercy Eke is a Nigerian media personality, actress, video vixen and entrepreneur from Imo State. She won season 4 of Big Brother Naija in October 2019, becoming the first woman to win the reality show. On March 14, 2020, Eke received the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for Best Dressed Female.

    Angel explains why she regrets participating in BBNaija show

    Big Brother Naija season 6 star, Angel Smith has revealed that she regrets participating in the reality TV show.

    Angel made this revelation in a radio interview in Lagos.

    She said that her regret was not borne out of an experience or bad situation but she just started feeling regret for going into the BBNaija show.

    The reality TV star blames her fans for always reading meanings to her post on social media and linking them to her experience while in the house.

     

    “Sometimes it has to do with the fans, sometimes the trolling gets too much. There are days where you are grateful and there are days when you are angry at God. It’s a mixture everything,” she said

    Angel Agnes Smith was one of the female housemates in Big Brother season 6 (shine ya eye). BBNaija Angel was the first female to enter the big brother house after the female housemates were unveiled on 25th July 2021.

    Why I dropped out of UNILAG after only two weeks – BBNaija star, Angel

    Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) star, Angel Smith, popularly known only as Angel has opened up on why she dropped out of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) after only two weeks.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Angel made this known, saying she left UNILAG after a brief stint because she was sexually assaulted by a man she can’t really remember anymore.

    Baring her heart in a recent podcast with media personality, Taymesan, the BBNaija star said the incident messed with her psyche so much that she couldn’t focus on school work.

    “I was in UNILAG for only two weeks. I struggled so much for those two weeks because when I got into UNILAG was my first sxxual assault experience.

    “After that experience happened, I can remember just moving through it and pretending like it never happened.

    “It affected my school life so much. I always blamed it on not knowing what to do in UNILAG when actually, I’ve always been fully aware of what I wanted to do,” she said.

    Angel revealed nobody knew that she had dropped out of school until much later, and that when she told her mum about it, she didn’t disclose the true reason why she left school.

    The BBNaija star and writer, who disclosed that she had wanted to be a gynecologist, said she had to give up the dream and began developing her English speaking and writing skills.

    “I knew what I wanted to do but I didn’t just do that because I had experienced something so traumatic and I didn’t speak to anybody about it, especially not my granny because I had so much shame.

    “Nobody knew I was out of school until my mum had asked and I was like, ‘let me finally be out with it’.

    “When I told her that and she asked me why, I obviously did not tell her what happened. I just told her I didn’t think I was doing the right course.

    “Then she enrolled me in a foundational programme in the UK, which I dropped out from too,” Angel said.

    She explained that she couldn’t stay in school because at that point, she didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life but going for BBNaija gave her a lot of clarity.

    Meanwhile, in the same chat with Taymesan on his Tea with Tay Podcast, the 22-year-old reality TV star also disclosed that she regretted going for the BBNaija reality TV show.

    Taymesan had asked if she regretted going on the reality show, and she said yes.

    Angel, who claims to be the most misunderstood ex-BBN housemate, said she sometimes wishes she could go back to her old life.

    She recalled instances when she tweeted at random and people misunderstood her post for a dig at her colleagues.

    “Yes I regretted it…It’s like who sent you message, I know I was not in the best place, but I was doing perfectly okay for my age.

    “There are days you’re grateful and days when you’re just angry…There are days the trolling get too much…” she said in part.

    Reality TV star, Ifiemi Angel Awotarigha, has announced the death of his father, Chief Famous Ereyanate Apollos Awotarigha – Polo.

     

    Angel took to his social media to announce the demise of his 75-year old father.

     

    Angel revealed that his late father happens to be his last parent and he has been dealing with the great loss for a while now.

    He also added that the burial service for his late dd will be held later in the month of May 2022.

    He wrote; “With Tears in my eyes and pain in my heart, I officially announce the death of my father Chief F. E Awotarigha – Polo ( My last Parent) who left us a while ago. Those of you who knew him can testify to his magnanimity, he will be always be missed. Been dealing with great loss for a while now but I am better. Burial is later this month, Rest well Chief!

    Reality TV star, Mercy Eke is so devastated at the moment, and in deep sorrow as she loses her father.

    She shared the photo of a dark image and a candle, stating she is so devastated over her father’s demise.

    The brand influencer who seemed to be in denial of the sad incident, said she did not want to believe that such a thing was happening to her.

    Eke made this known via her verified Instagram page, where she shared a photo of a candle and wrote: “I’m so devastated at the demise of my daddy. God I don’t want to believe this is happening to me right now”.
