    SAD! BBNaija’s Omashola seen in rags days after rant on depression

    A video has surfaced online in which Omashola Oburoh, ex Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, could be seen wearing a tattered outfit.

    In the now-viral video, which was first shared by Ike Onyeama, another former BBNaija housemate, Omashola is seen shabby and in the appearance of an insane person while sitting on the pavement of a yet-to-be-identified street.

    The entertainer also appears like one who is displaced as he holds a black nylon bag beside him.

    “I hope this is some sort of skit or movie @sholzy23 After seeing your last post, should I be worried? You haven’t been active on social media since your last post…call me!,” Ike wrote on Instagram.

    In the same vein, popular social media comedian Lekan Kingkong noted that he called Omashola but the latter didn’t pick his call.

    Lekan wrote on his Instagram page:”Thanks to everyone that called and sent a message to me to check on @Omashola. He is yet to answer my calls and I drove to his place to check him but he wasn’t there.I will let you know soon as I hear from him.Thank you all”

    Omashola was one of the finalists of BBNaija season four. During his stint in the 2019 BBNaija show, he won the hearts of fans with his street-smartness and hyper-activeness.

    Social media, Africa Magic cancelled me-Ike Onyema

    Ex- Big Brother Naija housemate Ike Onyema has accused Africa Magic of cancelling him.

    The reality star made the accusation in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

    According to him, the organisation cancelled him because he refused to accede to their will.

    “Social medial has tried to cancel me so many times since BBN. Africa Magic cancelled me because I refused to kiss a$$ now but I’m happy now to share the music I have been working on for so long.

    “I haven’t been back home in over 3 years chasing this dream praying to become a success and I refuse to give up. Guys don’t let this one flop honestly if this music doesn’t work out it’s back to the streets,” he wrote.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that in an interview, Ike recently spoke on why his relationship with Mercy Eke crashed.

    In an interview with Vanguard TV, he noted that he had been in a couple of relationships but his relationship with Mercy was not appealing as millions of people had opinions about them.

    “I’ve been in a couple of relationships, but this one (with Mercy) wasn’t it; having a relationship where people have a million opinions just isn’t it

    “I will like to date a lady that is intelligent, pretty much independent and not so freaked about social media. I believe social media brings a lot of negative vibes from people when it comes to relationships,” he said.

    Amid husband snatching claims Maria reacts to Cross’ nude video

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike has reacted to the nude video of her colleague Cross making rounds on social media.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the video was uploaded on Snapchat on Monday with the caption: “Showertime.”

    Cross deleted the video a few minutes after it was uploaded. However, it was too late for the reality star as the X-rated clip has already gone viral on social media

    In her reaction, Maria wrote: “Cross please what did they say happened today? We can’t both be canting I take God beg you.”

    Other Big Brother Naija stars such as Pere, Michael and season six winner Whitemoney have also reacted to the video.

    Maria was in the news on Monday, after Cubana Chief Priest accused her of threatening to kill the wife of her lover if she does not leave him alone.

    “These new set of BBNaija celebrities are ready to do anything for Fame and relevance even if it compromises their morals. Cross really fall my hand chai,” a Twitter user wrote, criticising the ex-BBNaija housemate.

    Ex-BBNaija 2021 housemate, Sammie has said he finds it difficult to keep up with the pressure of being in the limelight.

    During a Q&A session with fans on his Twitter page on Tuesday, the reality star stated that being a celebrity has been overwhelming with too many “dos and don’ts”.

    He said his journey since leaving the Big Brother house has been a “bittersweet” experience, adding that the most annoying part is the fact that he can no longer repeat clothes.

    “Very very overwhelming! A lot of dos and don’ts, It’s just bittersweet out here,” he said.

    “The absolutely annoying part is I can’t repeat my clothes! Anyways I need to throw the poverty mentality away and embrace a new mindset! That’s what they said!”

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Sammie had said in an interview that he lost his self-confidence when he first got into the Big Brother House.

    “A guy like me from Zaria, Kaduna state, a regular boy finally in BBNaija and seeing other housemates, the truth is that I lost confidence. I was like what am I doing here? I should not be here. Then I thought that regardless, I’m still human and I tried it and I got here, why don’t I accept this whole thing,” he had said.

    BBNaija star, Yousef loses elder brother

    Former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Yousef Garba, has announced the demise of his eldest brother.

    The ex-BBNaija star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to share the gloomy news, saying that prayers and condolences would be hugely appreciated.

    Though Yousef did not specify the cause of the demise of his brother’s name, he, however, stated that he’ll be going offline for some time.

    He wrote, “Hello everyone, I just lost my eldest brother and I’m going to be off for a bit. Your prayers and condolences would be immensely appreciated. Thank you.”

    In an interview Yousef had revealed that he was part of BBNaija to represent the North.

    He said, “What pushed me was that a lot of people from the North haven’t really been represented in the show. So I just wanted to make history in the entertainment industry. I wanted it as much as possible.

    “I just wanted to make history. I just wanted to go to BBNaija as it’s the biggest platform for any youth out there.”

    Former Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem Gang housemate, Omashola Oburoh, has stated that he’s going through depression and though he’s trying to keep his cool, he’s slowly reaching breaking point.

    The reality TV star made this known when he took to his Instagram page on Monday to share a picture that depicts droplets of tears on a piece of paper.

    In the caption, the said that he’s facing so much pressure, adding that he’s lonely in a world surrounded by people.

    Omashola wrote, “They say in your youth, depression is mostly peer pressure and the strife to not want to be left behind. In old age, depression is a bucket full of regrets and it is worse than the former.

    “Thank God I’m still young but plenty pressure man dey face. I believe in myself normally based on who I be and it is me and my team till the wheels fall off but right now ehn, only God fit understand.

    “ I’m lonely in a world surrounded by people. Trying to keep my cool but slowly reaching my breaking point.” (sic)

    Popular celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest, has called out reality Tv star, Maria Chike Benjamin for having an affair with his sister’s husband.

    The celebrity barman made this known in a post via his Instagram account on Sunday.

    He also accused Maria of sending threatening messages to his sister adding that she shamelessly keeps showing off expensive gifts another woman’s husband got for her.

     

    “Maria Chike Benjamin, how on Earth will you threaten a married woman who has male and female offspring to leave her husband for you.

    “You keep showing off the expensive gifts and cars her husband bought for you just to taunt her.

    “Kelvin, am so ashamed of you. I know that all men are cheaters but never make your hone miserable for your wife to the extent that your side chick calls her to threaten her,” he wrote.

    Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Dorathy Bachor has stated why she would not date or marry fellow ex-housemate, Prince.

    Dorathy made this known during a question and answer session with her fans on her verified Instagram handle when she was asked why she and Prince were not in a relationship.

    The reality TV star said that it would be incestuous to date Prince because he is like a brother to her, hence there can not be any form of intimacy between them.

    She responded, “I cannot marry Prince. It is forbidden for me to marry my brother.”

    While on BBNaija, Lockdown edition, Dorathy and Prince were seen to enjoy each other’s company and have also admitted to liking one other considering how close they were while on the show.

    Big Brother Naija Season two winner, Michael Ejeba better known as Efe Money has denied claims that he was boycotted by the show’s organisers, Multichoice Nigeria, after winning the competition.

    During the show’s Season Six finale which took place a few weeks ago, several ex-housemates of the show were present, while some like Laycon, Season five winner, had performances. However, the 2017 winner who doubles as a rapper was conspicuously absent.

    Media personality, Noble Igwe said in a tweet, that Efe had fallen out of grace with the show organisers because he had insulted a Multichoice boss. According to him, Efe “sat in the car and asked for Oga to come first before he comes out.”

    Responding to the claim, the rapper released a statement via his Instagram page on Monday to debunk the rumours as regards his absence from the BBNaija events.

    In the release, Efe stated that the said incident was false and never happened.

    “I was brought up in a family and society where respect to a fellow human is highly valued and respect to elders is unquestionable. Unnecessary ego-boosting, protocols, or feeling too much importance have never been attractive to me given my humble background.

    “Therefore it is unimaginable for someone to conceive such character from me as a person and create a scenario that never existed. Hence I am clearly stating that the instance (scenario) asserted that is making rounds in the media and public is false and never happened or occurred. This is news to me as it is to you,” he wrote.

    The rapper also maintained that he has “a cordial relationship with Multichoice Nigeria and we are one family.”

    “Let me take this opportunity to thank Multichoice Nigeria as an organisation, and her members of staff once again for giving me the platform to showcase my talent as a music artist,” he said. “I don’t take the platform for granted. It is a well-cherished investment.”

    Former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, has revealed that she has been receiving death threats because of her relationship status.

    Angel made this known in a lengthy Twitter thread on Saturday, where she said that she was being threatened because of her affiliation with an ex-housemate.

    The 21-year-old writer gave a severe warning to the trolls, stating that they should desist from calling her henceforth.

    Angel tweeted, “I’m not a messy person at all, especially in real life. I like my space and I like to avoid confrontation but this is me putting it out there that I’ve been getting death threats from ‘no caller IDs’ regarding my ‘relationship status’.

    “I’ve stated time and time again that I am single and frankly I promise I will not be chasing anything that will take away my peace.

    “Please, stop calling me to threaten me because of my affiliation with your ‘fave’. I am single. Thank you.

    “I would also like to state that you can not dictate who I choose to be friends with, I have no intention of stealing your fave from whoever.

    “Please, leave me out of whatever enmity is trying to form. I am only focused on my brand.

    “I’m too content within myself to be out here dragging anyone’s man. All I’ve ever needed is myself and I can do very well by myself. Thank you.”
