    BBNaija S6: Pere wins IVM CARIS 2021 model

    The Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemates participated in a challenge organised by Innoson Vehicle Manufacturers and Pere emerged as the winner of the task.

    As the winner, Pere received a brand new car, IVM CARIS 2021 model, courtesy of Innoson.

    Innoson task, which took place on Tuesday, day 66 of the show, involved a task where housemates had to pull down a bucket with stones.

    When the housemates got into the arena for the task, they met the brand new car decorated with balloons and ribbons.

    For the game, six buckets were hung on a beam and the housemates were asked to collect stones with a hook and put them in their individual buckets.

    As the game began, Whitemoney wrongly hit his stone on the bucket and it accidentally fell, making him lose out of the game.

    However, the rest of the housemates continued filling their buckets and Pere’s bucket was the first to fall due to the weight of the stone.

    After the task, Pere was announced as the winner and together with other housemates, they opened the car door and looked inside the car, before Biggie sent them back into the house

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemates, Angel and Pere, have made it into the grand finale, after participating in Biggie’s twist.

    The surprising announcement was made by Biggie on Monday, day 65 of the show, as he gave the duo a chance to partake in the finale.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that on Sunday, Pere and Angel who had faced fake eviction during the live show were pitted against each other for them to remain as finalists on the show.

    The duo were isolated in a ‘white room’ in the BBNaija house and had to battle their way back into the show through ‘trucks and screwdrivers’, according to Biggie.

    Though the voting poll shows that Pere had 25.31% of votes while Angel had 14.63%, the duo played the double jeopardy game and Biggie decided to reward both of them.

    After they told Biggie their experiences in fulfilling the task, Biggie said, “Clearly, you both put in the work. How would Big Brother reward your tenacity.

    “Why not give the both of you a chance to play in the finals? After all, you played the game excellently.”

    The duo thanked Biggie, who told them to pack their bags and get ready to enter into the house.

    TheNewsGuru reports that Angel’s dad alleged that his daughter has received threats due to the twist and Pere’s team also said they has been thrown off balance by same twist.

    Emmanuel, Shine Ya Eye housemate of the television reality show, Big Brother Naija, has emerged head of house for the final week.

    This was announced by Biggie, the coordinator of the show after the head of house challenge was completed as four of the housemates participated in the challenge.

    Emmanuel has chosen Liquorose as the deputy head of house who he will be sharing the head of house luxury lounge with.

    Big brother, the coordinator of the show, has decided to release Pere and Angel to join other housemates, rewarding them to be part of the last housemates in the show for their tenacity toward the game.

    Pere and Angel were subjected to a game of ‘trucks and screwdrivers’ as the winner will be allowed to join the other four housemates currently on the show.

    After playing the game for 24 hours, Biggie decided to allow the duo to join the other housemates following their committment toward emerging the winner of the game.

    The show now has six housemates finally heading for the final day slated for Sunday, October 3 as they all compete for the winner of the N90 million.

    Fans of Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Pere, have ivaded the streets of Illupeju in Lagos State, to protest against the twist by Biggie to make their favorite housemate and Angel battle as finalists for the show.

    Different videos have surfaced online showing the protesters wearing branded shirts and placards that read, “#Justice for Pere’ amongst other messages, stormed the Multichoice office on Monday morning.

    TheNewsGuru reports that this happened after Pere and Angel who had faced fake eviction during the Sunday live show were pitted against each other for them to continue as finalists on the show.

    The duo was isolated in a ‘white room’ in the BBNaija house and had to fight their way back into the show through ‘trucks and screwdrivers’, game according to Biggie.

    However, the voting poll shows that Pere had 25.31% of votes while Angel had 14.63%, a fact unknown to the duo.

    Reacting to the variance in the votes, the fans protested, saying that it was unfair for the organisers of the show to make Pere go through the twist when he’s clearly ahead of Angel in the polls.

    As the fans protest the ‘unfairness’ by BBNaija organisers, the circulating videos show that the environment was heavily guarded by security men.

    In a video by BBC Pidgin, ‘One of the protesters said, “If you don’t want him, release him to us. Why the mental stress?”

    Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate, Pere has averred that he would have preferred it if he got evicted from the show rather than having to play a game to get back in.

    Pere said this during a chat with Angel on Monday inside the White Room.

    He noted that he would have preferred if someone else is being made the addition to the other four housemates adding that no one will understand how he feels about his current situation.

    ”Having to play this game to win to go back again, I prefer they made anyone else the addition because I rather choose to leave.

    ”I prefer to leave rather than play this game. However, as the situation is, I have been given another chance so I will just take it but no one understands how I feel,” he said.

    Nollywood actor, Freddie Leonard, has slammed the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye show for announcing a twist between Pere and Angel to battle as finalists for the show.

    He took to his verified Instagram page on Sunday night to attack the show, comparing it to Nigerian politics.

    This happened after Pere and Angel who had faced fake eviction during the live show were pitted against each other for them to continue as finalists on the show.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that the duo were isolated in a ‘white room’ in the BBNaija house and had to battle their way back into the show through ‘trucks and screwdrivers’, according to Biggie.

    Speaking on the matter, Leonard said, “What is the difference between this and Nigerian politics? Why ask people to vote if their votes won’t count?

    “So If @pereegbiofficial Loses the Puzzle in the White Room Will he go home? Even though he won on votes?

    “#bbnaija listen, people went out of their way, to put in the work and vote because you made us believe our votes will count.

    “Better Do the Right Thing and Let the Winner on votes go back into the House as a finalist ao you do not discredit a show that has the backing and viewership support of millions across the continent of Africa.

    “This white room twist is clearly baseless and unnecessary.”

    “Ps: Even if @pereegbiofficial wins the puzzle in the white room, it will be unfair for him to go through that heart palpitating route with another housemate who already lost on votes!

    BBNaija: ‘We earned fifth spot’ – Pere’s management disagrees with organisers

    Management of BBNaija Season 6 housemate, Pere has disagreed with the organizers of the reality show about the latest twist.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the latest twist in the show has Pere and Angel playing a game to regulate their spot in the final week.

    Nini, Saga and Queen’s evictions leave Whitemoney, Emmanuel, Cross and Liquorose as the final four housemates.

    Sadly, fate of the fifth housemate is to be determined by the result of the game played between Angel and Pere.

    However, this appears controversial as Pere scored more votes than Angel.

    Pere secured 25.31% votes while Angel had 14.63%

    Reacting to the development, Pere’s management notedc that the choice of voters should not be sacrificed by the outcome of the game.

    On his official Twitter page, the management wrote: “No matter the outcome of this game, we own that 5th spot!!

    “It’s the will and choice of the voters that sacrificed tirelessly all week. We earned it.”

    As the curtain of the Season 6 BBnaija “Shine your eyes” is drawing close to an end, most viewers, especially the pro-WhiteMoney ( one of the housemates speculated to win the reality TV show) may be dealt with the shock of their life; if on coronation day, energetic Liquorose wears the BBNaija crown and eventually walk home the N90 million prize for a reality TV show.

    WhiteMoney’s fans are already paying for their gele, Agbada, and aso ebi in anticipation of his coronation – they are apparently blind to the prominence of Liquorose and underestimating her fans, the ‘lions’, as they are named, have mastered the skill of silence and stealth in hunting for their wins. Let us point out some factors that may cause viewers shocked;

    Fan Base (Lions):
    This is not to say that winning the competition totally depends on a large fan base. As earlier mentioned the lion has mastered the arts of stealth and silence, this will give them an edge (an advantage fan’s of Whitemoney are underestimating) to deliver the crown to their favourite housemate, Liquorose. Fan base is a strong criterion for winning, and there is no doubt that Liquorose has a very large fan base which gives her an edge to win this competition over other housemates.

    Not been too dramatic:
    We all know that being dramatic in BBNaija is one way to attract fan base and voting from viewers, however, when I say dramatic in this contest, I mean that she doesn’t involve herself with issues in the house and neither does she cause issues with other housemates in the house that may lead to her disqualification and cause viewers to lose interest in her. This has given her an edge to win as she is known to abide by the terms and conditions of the house rules in BBNaija.

    Character:
    Liquorose has displayed behaviours and characters that have drawn the attention of many viewers to her. We can not deny the fact that housemates characters, behaviours goes a long way in determining who fans throw their supports on, which goes a long way in aiding housemate to win.

    Without stating many facts, it is pertinent that pro-white money viewers need to up their games in order not to be shocked at the outcome of the event.

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Nini, said that she only wants friendship from Saga and nothing more.

    She made this known on Friday night, day 62 of the show, as the duo talked about their earnings in the house.

    Nini told Saga, “You have won like how many millions in this house? You’re supposed to give me 30 per cent.”

    “I got you,” Saga said.

    “See you saying I got you. Sweet mouth, I don’t want your money,” Nini said.

    Saga said, “I may give it to you.”

    Nini, however, maintained that she did not want his money and it was only a joke.

    “You don’t want my money. Then what do you want from me?” Saga asked.

    Nini answered, “Nothing. Nice friendship and stop being annoying.”

    Though Saga stated that he has no relationship outside the house, it appeared that he may be pursuing one in the show, with Nini.

    Nini and Saga are undoubtedly one of the closest duos in the house and Saga had made it known that he loved her beyond friendship level.

    However, their ‘ship’ is one of unreciprocated love because Nini refuses to agree that they are more than friends as she always says that she has a boyfriend outside the house.

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Emmanuel, stunned many when he got drunk during the Jacuzzi Party. According to Liquorose, it was the first time Emmanuel ever got drunk in the house.

    After the Jacuzzi Party in the early hours of Saturday, day 63 of the show, Liquorose held on to Emmanuel as the latter tried to put himself together.

    Some housemates walked in on them and were astonished to see Emmanuel drunk.

    Liquorose said, “It’s his first time. He made a promise to me on Sunday that he’ll get high. He said if he doesn’t go home on Sunday, he’ll get high. He promised on Sunday.”

    Queen was amazed that Emmanuel got drunk and Angel referred to her saying, “Don’t mind her, she doesn’t know what’s up.”

    Whitemoney teased Liquorose and Emmanuel as the duo held on to each other at the dressing area, saying, “This is the first time I’m seeing you knocked out.”

    Speaking about Emmanuel, Whitemoney said, “He’s never knocked out. He’s always firm. My man, I wish I had this clip. I’ve never seen him knocked out. Congratulations on knocking out.”

    Liquorose told Emmanuel, “I want to get you inside now, so that you can shower.

    Emmanuel simply said, “I’m good.

    “I know you’re good. I’m going to be the one there. I’ll watch you,” said Liquorose.
