    Why I will never date a celebrity – Doyin

    Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, has disclosed why she would never be romantically involved with a fellow celebrity.

    The controversial reality TV star said she has always dated men outside of the entertainment industry, so she doesn’t see herself going into a relationship with a public figure.

    Speaking in a recent interview with Hip TV, the outspoken podcaster said she has been with her current boyfriend for ten years.

    Doyin said that she does not want her private life and family to be in the public eye because she’s dating a celebrity.

    Her words:

    “I don’t see myself dating somebody in the limelight. All my life, I’ve always dated men in the corporate world. Those are the men I met; maybe it is because of what my life was like before. I have known my current partner for like 10 years.

    “I don’t just see myself dating someone in the limelight. I don’t want my family out there. Let me be out there. But I want to go back home to some sanity. I’m submissive to my partner even now that we are not married.

    “I believe that two people cannot lead a successful relationship. They will clash. One person has to be more agreeable. That’s why I keep saying a woman’s most important job is choosing the right man to lead her.”

    Ex-Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina Otabor popularly known as Phyna, has advised warm-hearted people not to be ‘too nice’.

    Phyna said the society is filled with unscrupulous people who are waiting for the opportunity to ‘use’ nice people.

    According to her, it is best for people to eat as much as they can without bothering about others.

    In her words:

    “Don’t be too nice, the street is full of users…… they will use you… Nothing like balance diet……Try chop make you no die yet.”

    Big Brother Naija reality star, Seyi Awolowo, has said it is appropriate for gospel artistes to charge before performing at religious events.

    He also said that artists can monetise their music, emphasising that they have responsibilities to cater for despite being gospel minstrels.

    He stated this in a recent interview with Hip TV.

    “If you got a talent, you gotta make your money. So because of religion someone shouldn’t get paid? We need to knock that mindset out. We literally need to take out that sentiment.

    “Let’s actually build on ourselves. If you have a talent if you can monetise it the right way, do so. You need to sell your talent.”

    Big Brother Naija reality star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, has revealed the most unusual gift she has ever received from a fan.

    According to her, a fan once sent her a sex toy as a gift.

    The BBNaija  star disclosed this in a viral interview with content creator, Emcoy.

    The interviewer asked, “What’s the weirdest gift you’ve ever received from a fan?”

    In reply, Doyin said:

    “The weirdest gift I’ve gotten from a fan is a sex toy. Somebody sent me a sex toy. I’m not gonna lie. I’m not making this up. I’m serious.

    “Somebody actually sent me a sex toy after the sex toy interview came out. They were trying to be funny. I thought that was really hilarious.”

    The reality TV star sparked controversy last year when she claimed in an interview that sex toys satisfy women in bed than men.

    Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Venita Akpofure, has said she was a star before going for Big Brother.

    The actress made her first appearance as a housemate in 2019 during the ‘Pepper Dem’ edition and also in 2023 as part of the All Stars.

    While featuring in a music with rapper, Magnito, titled ‘Gen Z Cypher’, Venita claimed that the organizers of the reality show didn’t make her popular, stating that they both helped each other.

    She said;

    “I made it before Big Brother. No be Biggie help me, we dey help each other. Small girls babbling, I don’t even bother. Dem no get experience; they never cross border.”

    The reality TV star encouraged singles to reconnect with their ex-partners, emphasizing that life is too short for harboring animosity towards former flames.

    Angel suggests that if someone’s ex happens to be a Cancer or Libra, they should consider rekindling the relationship.

    “Life is too short to be beefing, go back to your favorite ex today. If your ex a cancer or a libra, I suggest that you just go back to bed,” she wrote.

    Reality TV star Otabor Josephine popularly known as Phyna has announced winning of the prestigious Reality TV Star of the Year award for second consecutive times.

    According to her, she had won Reality TV Star of the Year award for the second time in a row.

    Phyna thanked the Africa Choice Award for giving her this award, not forgetting her fan base Phynation for their votes which made it a reality.

    Taking to her X account, she wrote: “second year in a row, back to back, Reality TV Star of the Year. Thank you Africa Choice Award and thank you Phynation for your votes made this a reality”.

    In a post via X on Friday, the show organisers tease fans about the upcoming season.

    The post read, “Last season, Biggie asked for the All-Stars! This time, he has his eyes set on something different. What could it be this time around?”

    The last edition, themed ‘All-Stars’, had many past winners and contestants from various seasons compete for the cash prize of 120 million Naira.

    Former Big Brother Naija Housemate Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Cee-C, has taken to X to address speculation surrounding her relationship status

    In the tweet, Cee-C acknowledges the public scrutiny that comes with her celebrity status but said  her right to privacy in matters of personal life.

    “I am currently single, and if and when I choose to enter into a romantic relationship, it will be my decision whether to share that with you all or not”

    She also  addressed the misinterpretations surrounding her friendship with fellow reality star Ike, stating, “I want to make it clear that Ike and I are simply close friends.

    “In a world where friendships between a man and a woman are often misunderstood, I want to emphasize that platonic relationships are not only possible but also valuable.”

    Cee-C and Ike both participated in the eighth season of Big Brother Naija, also known as Big Brother Naija All Stars, which aired in 2023.

    Ex- Big Brother Naija Housemate cum actress, Bamike Olawunmi popularly known as Bambam, has said Filmmakers are using ‘sex for role’ to exploit overzealous young actresses in the movie industry.

    The reality TV star made this known while speaking in the latest episode of the Secrets Behind the Scenes podcast.

    She stated that filmmakers used ‘sex for role’ to exploit overzealous young actresses and often end up not fulfilling their promises of giving them major roles after sleeping with them.

    She urged aspiring actresses not to fall prey to ‘sex for roles’, stressing that it is not worth it because they are paid little amount of money after production.

    The recalled how a producer gave her keys to his hotel room after casting her in a movie role.

    She said, “Sex for roles is a scam. It’s not worth it. Some of them [victims] what they are paying them at the end of that production is not more than N50,000, N100,000. Don’t be deceived o! It’s a lie. It [sex for role] is a scam.
