    Miracle, BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ winner gets Pilot license

    Miracle Ikechukwu, the winner of the BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ show has obtained his Private Pilot License (PPL) and Flight Dispatcher License (FDL).

    The 23-year-old took to his Instagram page @miracleikechukwu to share the news by posting a picture of his licenses alongside birthday wishes for his mother.

    He wrote, “Today is also my pillar’s birthday (my sweet mum). Thank you mother for always being there for me through the journey.

    “To all my lovely fans, I thank you all for your patience and support. We made it. PPL in the bag. Happy new month,” Miracle said.

    During the course of the BBNaija show, Miracle, who was in aviation school prior to the show, continually expressed his desire to obtain all piloting license as soon as possible.

    He expressed his resolve during the eviction nights where he wore his piloting uniform each time he was up for possible eviction.

    Miracle’s total winning prize included N25 million cash, a Sub-Urban Vehicle (SUV) worth N12 million and a trip for two valued N4.7 million, Television and other electronic items worth N3.3 million.

    Asogwa Alexandra, a Big Brother Naija 2018 star, has said she does not have any regrets about BBNaija .

    She noted that she has no iota of regret over what transpired during the few months she spent in the Big Brother house.

     

    “In Big Brother house, I really do not regret anything for now,”

     

    “At a point I said I regretted not giving Teddy A the kind of love he gave me in the house, not caring the way he did but really I don’t regret anything.

     

    “If you put me back there, everything that happened should happen again it’s the same way I reacted I would react because I was just being myself, I can never do anything differently”, she told Hip TV.

     

    Recall that Alex recently launched a YouTube channel, where she released an friendly video in which she talks about her personality and her scorn for negativity.

     

    “It’s okay to be different, it’s okay to be understood. The sun is alone and it still shines. I stand for what I believe. Life is a journey and I choose not to rush mine,” she said in the video.

    Asogwa Alexandra, a Big Brother Naija 2018 star, has reacted over the alleged sex tape she did with Tobi.

     

    The viral video had Tobi sleeping in a close proximity with Alex while he made some strange movements. Also a picture of him naked while in bed with Alex was leaked online.

     

    In a three minutes, 17 seconds clip posted on her YouTube channel, Alex harps on positivity, saying she does not intend to waste her moments on anything negative.

     

    According to her: “Peace and positivity is my priority. It’s okay to be different, it’s okay to be understood. The sun is alone and it still shines. I stand for what I believe. Life is a journey and I choose not to rush mine.”

     

    “I am building a house where the floor is made of strength; the walls are crafted of ambition, the roof, a masterpiece of forgiveness. I am building Alex Unusual empire. I am unusual and I do not intend to change.”

     

     

  • Man of many parts! Tobi Bakre unveils post-BBNaija projects

    Second runner-up BBNaija 2018, Tobi Bakre has announced his next course of action following the end of the reality TV show.

    The ex-Heritage Bank staff says he plans to launch a YouTube channel called Tobi Live, and also collaborate with friends in the health and fitness space “to bring you some products”.

     

    He noted that he will also unveil a platform to promote young creative photographers, adding that he is working on his “first exhibition which fuses art, photography, and experiential production”.

    Tobi also said he will also create a programme to “educate and mentor” creative youth who are in need of direction.

    In his words: ”Photo/Art Exhibition: Prior to entering the Big Brother House, I started working on a platform to showcase young creative photographers. I am working on my first exhibition which fuses Art, Photography, and Experiential Production. In the coming weeks, I will share more details about this.

     

    “Tobi Live: I will be bringing full on entertainment to you guys via my Youtube Channel – you should subscribe now to get first dibs on the first video! Ill be exploring everything from – Life as a creative living in Lagos, to Friendship/relationships, Entertainment, Fitness, and Interviews with some amazing people.

     

    “The Business Of Creativity: As a young creative, I realize that one of the challenges my peers face is putting structures to their creativity, and commercializing their talents. I will be pulling some experts in the brand and business space to educate and mentor young people in the creative space who need direction.

    The reality TV star said although those are his immediate plans, he will still explore emceeing, acting, photography, and presenting.

  • How I misjudged Ifu Ennada-Cee-C

    Controversial Big Brother ex- housemate, Cee-c has said she misjudged her fellow housemate, Ifu Ennada.

    Recall that Ifu and Cee-C had a couple of rifts while they were in the Big Brother Naija house.

    Speaking in a chat with Pulse TV, she said: ”I think it would be Ifu Ennada. I never really connected with her because I felt she was – I just didn’t understand her. But coming out of the house, I found out that she is actually an amazing person”.

     

    Cee-c has told anyone cares to listen that she has no reason to apologise to anyone over her misdeeds on the show.

    “I do not owe anybody apology. Everything that happened in the house happened in the house. And outside here, I don’t think I have any reason to apologize to anyone”.

    When asked about her favourite BBNaija, Cee-C noted that she does not have a favourite, adding that they are amazing and fantastic people.

    “Coming out of the house, we are all friends now, we chill together. So I wouldn’t pick anyone and say ‘this was my favourite or this was my least favourite. Nah. [They are all] amazing [and] fantastic people”.

    Many thought the svelte ex- reality TV show star is about to work down the aisle, unknown to them, the pictures are meant for a stage play she will be starring in.

    The stage play is titled ‘Official Couple’ and it is the ex-reality TV star’s first acting role.

    For leading actress, Bimbo Thomas, Big Brother Naija adds value beyond the immoral show conservatives perceive it to be. She expressed satisfaction with the reality show. In a chat with TheNewsGuru, the talented actress said the show isn’t as bad as people perceive it to be.

    “Though BBNaija has been going on for a while now, but I became a fan from last year’s edition. I can say there is a lot to the show than the immorality people talk about. The show isn’t as bad as people perceive it to be. My opinion is that the organization behind BBNaija is focused on building the talents of young Nigerians. Anyone who uses the platform can become great from there”.

     

    Following the trend of celebrity breakups in recent times, Thomas noted that celebrities need to learn how to maintain balance when it comes to avoiding marital crisis.

    Veteran Nigerian actor, Paul Obazele, has shared his opinion on the recently concluded BBNaija reality TV show.

    The ace actor stated that the show should not be promoted , adding that it promotes sex and corruption.

    He made this known in a chat with Punch. According to him: “I don’t like Big Brother; why would I celebrate corruption? Do you want to tell me that to become a superstar, you have to be having sex in toilets? What are they depicting? There are so many reality shows that they can do. It is called cultural dislocation, bringing in the white man’s culture into ours. Sex is nothing to them. The most decent woman I have seen in the years of my travelling is the Nigerian woman. Sex is nothing to other African women, this is the truth. Why would I bring in a group of young people between the ages of 18 and 26 and make sex the topic of the day? What did we learn from the show and today, some people are parading themselves as stars.

    It is nonsense. There are so many reality television shows they can do; they can send some people on internships but then they were able to cajole Nigerians who have small minds who think about sex always and they started sending text messages to vote. At the end of the day, they were able to rake in more than N350m. If the organisers of the show made that amount of money, how much is the N25m they are giving the winner, it is a stipend to them. We are gullible. Some people would argue that it does not matter because they have warned about viewers’ discretion but that is nonsense. The show is shot in South Africa and to be honest, sex and drugs are nothing to them. I do not promote things like Big Brother. It is unfortunate that they call them stars.”

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tobi who has demanded an apology from fellow housemate Cee-c, has said she doesn’t want to change because of the support she is getting.

    Tobi made this known in a chat which Media Hub room.

    The suave BBNaija 2018 finalist noted that Cee-c was only forced by Big brother in the house to apologise, hence he deserves a sincere one from her outside the show.

     

    ” I mean, we are human beings, definitely lines were crossed, things were said, and things were done. And it’s different when you come out of the house and you apologise genuinely for the things you did, like oh!! whatever thing I did or said that was me playing a game, outside the house ,sorry that wasn’t me , it was a different ball game -sorry, then we access the whole situation and be like , okay it was just a game. But when you come out and even almost after leaving , you are getting the same vibe, same responses, the same verbal interaction, it’s no more a game.

     

    “That is the real situation, the real you, so I’m not upset, I’m not angry. For me it was a ‘let it out’ you know when you are angry with someone and you have exhausted your energy, you will be like come and give me a hug and everything will end there. I was thinking we would get to that point but we didn’t. She doesn’t want to apologise because of the support she is getting outside of the BBNaija house.You don’t apologise for the one Big Brother saw, if you want to apologise, you do it genuinely, and you apologise in totality. If you want to change as a person, you acknowledge and accept your mistakes, apologise and then try to be better, that’s just it for me”, he said.
