Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Beauty Tukura has confirmed the end of her relationship with her colleague Neo Akpofure.
The reality star in an interview on Toke Moments, disclosed that she is now single while referring to Neo as her “ex”.
She also likened their relationship to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, adding that the relationship was “beautiful” while it lasted.
Beauty said the reason for their breakup was “valid,” although she did not disclose the cause of their split.
The reality star added that the next man she posts online will be her husband.
“He is my ex, I’m single. We were Rihanna and Asap when it lasted. It was a beautiful relationship when it lasted. I was happy being with him at the time,” she said.
“The reason we broke up was valid. For now, I have no opinion on whether we could possibly come back together.
“I’m now focused on myself, I’m not interested in any man right now. At this point, I’m just waiting for my husband. Any man I’m posting next is going to be my husband.”
The beauty queen said she has decided to keep her relationships private moving forward.
“I won’t date publicly like that anymore. A relationship is better when it is private because there is no extra opinion,” she added.
“But in a public relationship, we are plenty in it. His family, my family and the whole world. Having the BBNaija’s fanbase also added pressure to the relationship, there is no privacy.
“They are watching you and invested in the relationship so it comes with a lot of pressure. You have to watch everything you do, how you talk about him.
“The pressure also takes an emotional toll on you. I just got out of a relationship. I’m trying to heal, but I’m reading the backlash, so at what point do I have time to heal and move on?”
Reality TV star, Beauty Tukura has narrated how she once caught her boyfriend pants down with another woman.
Beauty disclosed this while speaking on the most recent episode of the Doyin’s Corner podcast but did not mention the name of the boyfriend.
She admitted that she had been worried about her boyfriend’s infidelity during the relationship so she was not really shocked by the discovery.
According to her, she woke the boyfriend from his sleep but he was too stunned to believe her presence and went back to sleep.
“I have actually walked in on my boyfriend and a girl naked in bed before. Let me even burst your head, they were sleeping.
“The thing is, I was already suspecting him and her. I mean, at the time when I saw them, they were even asleep. They’ve already had sex.
“I saw his boxers on the floor. I stood at the door for like five/ten minutes. I’m so dramatic. I turned the mood light into normal light, but they didn’t notice. I turned it off again, they still didn’t notice. I was just looking at them.
“Then I called his name, this nigga actually woke up. He saw me and went back to sleep. I could swear that he did not believe. This thing I’m telling you is a real story,” Beauty narrated.
The Nigerian Bar Association has disowned the recently disqualified housemate of the seventh season of Big Brother Naija, Beauty Tukura.
In a statement released via the first vice president of the prestigious organisation, John Aikpokpo-Martins, via his Facebook page on Monday, August 8, 2022, stated that the former beauty queen’s name did not come up in the Roll of Legal Practitioners in the Supreme Court and the Nigerian Bar Association.
My attention and I guess of a large number of lawyers in Nigeria have been drawn to news reports that one Beauty Tukura, who is claimed and/or claims to be a lawyer participated and also got ignominiously disqualified from the on going Big Brother Naija reality show “for throwing her wig and glasses at” a co-participant in the live show being watched by millions around the world after a party,” he wrote.
These reports have been very embarrassing to most members of the legal profession and may in all reasonable probability bring the profession into disrepute if found to be true. A quick check of the databases of the Roll of Legal Practitioners kept in the Supreme Court and the Nigerian Bar Association failed to reveal the name “Beauty Tukura” to be on the Supreme Court Roll or to be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.”

Beauty was disqualified from the reality TV show on Sunday evening over infringements of the rules of the house.
Disqualification in Big Brother Naija has been a norm since the inception of the reality TV show, but what remains unusual is for a housemate to be debarred barely two weeks into Biggie’s house.
The former Miss Nigeria, Beauty Tukura, was disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Level Up edition on Sunday, after receiving two strikes, apart from last week’s strike for aggression towards Ilebaye, during which she pulled the housemate’s wig.
The jealousy, crush and anger:
Beauty, who emerged Miss Nigeria in 2020, on Saturday night, threw her wig and glasses at Groovy and attempted to break his microphone, following his dance activities with Chomzy, a level 1 housemate.
Apparently, Beauty and Groovy have displayed their love for each other in the Level Up edition of the reality TV show but Chomzy seems to be crushing on the former Miss Nigeria’s lover boy (Groovy).
Perturbed by Chomzy crush on Groovy, Beauty issued a firm warning to her lover boy never to engage the former in any dance party activity.
However, Beauty’s firm warning fell on deaf ears on Saturday as Groovy was spotted rocking Chomzy during their weekend party in Biggie’s house.
In an interactive session with Beauty, Biggie said: “Your actions last night were out of line; you should have managed your emotions. You removed your microphone; you threw another object at Groovy, after throwing your glasses, wig at him.”
Disqualifications so far in Big Brother Naija:
As Beauty joins the list of housemates who have been disqualified from the reality TV show, TheNewsGuru.com recalls that in 2017, Kemen, a fitness expert, was disqualified from the second season of the show, on day 44.
In 2019, Tacha was disqualified from the BBNaija show after 89 days, following an altercation with fellow housemate, Mercy Eke, barely a week to the end of the show.
The 2020 edition of BBNaija saw Erica disqualified from the show after a misery behavior and several infringements of the house rules. At least, Erica spent 49 days in Biggie’s house.
The former Miss Nigeria, an indigene of Taraba State, stayed 15 days in Biggie’s house before shown the way out for exhibiting an attitude that is contrary to Big Brother Naija rules.
Angered by this development, some of her fans and BBNaija viewers aired their views.
Regezile Ngwenya said “I think Beauty made history for being the first housemate to be disqualified in two weeks.”
Beauty’s destructive delinquents:
Reacting to the disqualification of the former Miss Nigeria (Beauty), Victoria Ajayi, noted that although housemates of past BBNaija were disqualified they stayed long in the house.
“But Beauty’s own is not like that. She didn’t use up to 2 weeks, she started showing her character. Now, she is disqualified because of her bad character. I hope she change shai before it gets too late because she is a woman and she is going to marry. No man can tolerate her character. Those who have good character never see husband, talk more of those with bad one,” Ajayi added.
According to Maria Uchechi, “At least, Tacha and Erica stayed long and won a lot of task and money in the house before being disqualified- but Beauty, just two weeks, two weeks o.”
Wisdom Ekeh, on his part, stressed that “Soldier go, soldier come. How Groovy will still mingle with other beautiful girls and you will be watching him. Make sure you take Amlodipine to avoid a trauma. Mtchewwwww! Nonsensical and ingredients.”
Rita Owugu described the former Miss Nigeria as “Beauty without brains. You beauty would get you there but your attitude would bring you back.”
Another viewer, Ekim Mercy, said “She no use her head at all, after Biggie started shipping them last night by giving them matching outfit. Babe, you fall my hand. Go and rest abeg. Try use your headddd ooo.”
Sophia Essien said “Fine face carry her enter BBN, bad character carry her comot. All because of gbola.”
Love and money:
Talking about love and money in the reality TV show, Amicable Mary said “She (Beauty) messed up. Did she come for the money or love? Her own was too much last night (Saturday). Everyone was telling her to calm down. Just imagine the end now.”
A viewer, identified as RuNor said “This girl need help. Na man you go find abi na the money you go find? Some gals ehnnn, with her stupid anger. Rubbish!”
Mimi Maryam Daniels said “Dis disqualification sweet me die. A whole Miss Nigeria 2020 been disqualified over a man’s matter. I thought you went there for the money; a true beauty queen without brains.”
In the words of Ugoma Favour “Congrats! She is the first BBN female housemate to disown a man over 100m. Welcome home, your mumu too much.”
Shima asserted that “Why them no go disqualify her. She leave money wey she for focus on getting and started dragging another person’s future husband- on top of ordinary dance.”
Groovy and Beauty
Alcohol:
Gbemisola George advised Beauty to stop taking alcoholic drink and work on her attitude for future purpose.
Imoisile Tina explained that “Her attitude is very bad. You can’t stay with husband with all these. And your parents will be disappointed right now. Anyway, try and stay away from alcohol.”
In all, like Wayne Gerard Trotman says “Sometimes, love is misplaced.” Can this be attributed to Beauty?
The World of Colours, an entertainment firm, on Tuesday presented a car to Miss Beauty Tukura, the current Miss Taraba to ease her movement across the state, while mobilizing youths for creative ventures.
Mr. Andrew Egboja, the Managing Director of the firm, presented the vehicle, a Ford Focus to the beauty queen at a brief ceremony in Jalingo.
Egboja said that the organization was out to empower the youths in the country through the creative and entertainment industry.
The director described Miss Tukura as a pillar of the youth in the state, given her commitment in ensuring that they were involved in meaningful ventures.
He commended Gov. Darius Ishaku for providing the enabling environment for the success of the project for the good of the youth.
Egboja also lauded the wife of the governor, Mrs. Anna Ishaku, for her continuous support to the project.
Tukura thanked the organization for assisting her with a vehicle to ease her movement.
She said the gesture would go a long way in encouraging her to do more in mobilizing the youths to shun social vices and embrace creative ventures to guarantee their future.
Tukura, a 300 Level Law student of the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, advised youths to take entertainment and creative industry seriously for a brighter future.
