“Mohbad was doing very fine without you”- Bella Shmurda blasts Naira Marley

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, known professionally as Bella Shmurda, has accused Marlian Records boss, Naira Marley, of killing the talent in Mohbad after his sign-in, saying “that boy was doing very fine without you”.

Recall that on Wednesday, Mohbad pleaded for help claiming to have been assaulted by his label owners (Naira Marley).

A video was shared via Mohbad’s Twitter page where a voice could be heard lamenting the assault on the singer in the presence of Naira Marley.

The person said: “You have seen how they have treated Mohbad, no problem o! And Naira was there. You can see how they’ve beaten the poor boy and Naira was fucking there.”

But Naira Marley countered the allegation, claiming his signee has a history of intoxication and the matter had been resolved.

Marlian Records boss described the incident as a “family affair” and refused to divulge more details about what happened.

During an Instagram live session, he alleged that Mohbad was probably “high” (drunk) when making the allegation.

In his words: “Obviously, he (Mohbad) is not in his right sense. It is obvious he is not in the right state of mind because why will I touch Mohbad or allow anyone to touch Mohbad?”

He tweeted: “Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.”

However, Mohbad insisted he was not intoxicated accusing his label owners of always using the excuse to sweep matters under the carpet.

Preceding videos captured Mohbad spotting a singlet stained with blood alongside several bruises on his body to prove his point.

He wrote: “I’m not high oo cos that what Dey always say just to die down everything.

“Just because I want to change my manager which is their brother, see what they did to me at Marlian House.”

Reacting to the unfolding drama, fine boi Bella warned Marlian Records that ‘the world was watching.’

He also noted Mohbad was doing much better until he joined the record label

Bella wrote: “A label is supposed to be your family, not your enemy… The world is watching”.
