    Biggie cancels week 5 eviction for housemates

    Big Brother Naija on Monday stated that there will be no eliminations this week in the 5th week of the ongoing BBNaija 10 contest.

    This comes after the housemates had gathered in the sitting room on Monday evening for nominations, following the old nomination style where each housemate nominates two people for possible eviction.

    The housemates took turns nominating two fellow housemates for possible eviction.

    Following the nominations, Big Brother called out six housemates – Ivatar, Faith, Thelma, Zita, Tracy, and Sultana

    Rooboy, the Head of House, was asked to draw a power from the Tree of Trinkets.

    The power revealed that nominations were nullified, ultimately rendering all nominations void.

    “Head of house Rooboy, you have drawn the power to nullify nominations; this means your nominations are null and void. Is this clear? It means the whole house is safe and free from eviction for the week”. Biggie said.

    The housemates responded with a clap, relieved that none of them would be evicted based on the nominations.

    The Big Brother Naija Season 10 reality show gets more interesting as house mate, Kayikunmi has been evicted from the house.

    Kayikunmi’s exit comes shortly after Otega’s eviction which was announced by the show anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at the eviction night.

    His departure comes after days of intense drama with housemate Thelma who accused him of stealing bread.

    He was also in a romantic situation with housemate Isabella, sparking both alliances and competition as housemates continue to battle for survival in the game.

    Speaking about leaving the show on the third week, the housemate told Ebuka he was disappointed, although he expressed optimisim.

    Big Brother Naija, housemate Imisi Ayanwale, has recounted how her ex boyfriend became a monster after she got pregnant.

    Imisi during a recent chat with Kaybobo, explained that the relationship was perfect and sweet until she fell pregnant which led her ex-boyfriend to change and even cheated on her.

    She narrated that although her ex-boyfriend begged for forgiveness,  she couldn’t  bring herself to forgive him and left the relationship because she felt betrayed by his actions.

    Imisi said, “This last relationship was my best ever relationship, not until I was pregnant. The whole thing just went sour. He never cheated, and I never saw him cheating.

    Kaybobo asked, “He started cheating?”

    Imisi replied, “Yeah. Stuff started happening. He would come home late; we lived together for a year. It was really crazy. Hakeem loved me, and it was glaring, and I knew. He wanted the baby, and I wanted the baby too.

    “When the issue that made me say I’m not doing again happened, he tried his best. He said he doesn’t want to lose me, and he is not going to do it again. But I just couldn’t, because if he could take this step when I was pregnant…”

    What to know about the 15 female housemates in BBNaija 10/10 house

    Big Brother Naija Season 10 has officially kicked off, and fifteen housemates have been unveiled. Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is back to guide the contestants through the drama-packed reality show.

    The first four housemates to make their way into the Big Brother house are Zita, a 24-year-old student; Ayomide, a 23-year-old; Doris; and Sultana, a contestant from northern Nigeria.

    A 26-year-old skincare boss from Port Harcourt who owns her space, speaks her mind, and is launching her “soft life” era.

    Dede, the 15th housemate, is a Delta native described as a “nonchalant princess” who is confident, straightforward, and chasing both financial gain and the spotlight.

    With a diverse lineup of personalities already making waves, fans can expect a rollercoaster ride in the weeks ahead. The housemates will navigate the challenges and surprises that Big Brother has in store for them, and alliances will be formed and tested.     27-year-old, Ibi Fubara was on Saturday unveiled as one of the housemates to participate in the season 10 edition of Multichoice reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

    TheNewsGuru reports that BBNaija returns to screens with housemates vying for a jaw-dropping grand prize of ₦150 million.

    Fubara hails from Rivers State. She walked into the BBNaija house, serving brains, beauty, and chaos in perfect proportions.

    “I mean at the end of the day my social psychology background helps me understand people more and I’m always analytical almost two steps ahead” Fubara told show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu when asked what her psychology background will do in a choatic show like BBNaija

    TNG reports that since its debut in 2006, BBNaija has become a cultural phenomenon in Nigeria, launching the careers of numerous celebrities and influencers while drawing millions of viewers across Africa.

    Big Brother Naija, housemates Tjay and Shaun have been evicted from the season 9 ‘No loose Guard’ edition of the reality show.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the show host, Ebuka announced the eviction during the Sunday live eviction show.

    Recall, Handi was the first housemate to get evicted from the show, after housemates got to nominate each other for eviction for the first time this season.

    With this latest eviction, the show is left with six housemates with at least one more eviction expected in the penultimate week.

    The grand prize for this season is a spectacular ₦100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.

    The show which is now going into its ninth week will run for 10 weeks, concluding with the finale on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

    Fans of Big Brother Naija star, Chinwe Elibe on Wednesday, September 11, rolled out to celebrate her 31st birthday in style.

    In celebrating the Big Brother Naija star, Chinwe’s fans gave out a big sum of N20m alongside other presents.

    The fans during the cheque presentation, encourage the reality star  to use the money to pursue her long-planned podcast venture.

    In reaction to the good gesture, the reality star who could not contain her joy in the clip shared on her Instagram page prayed that God will reward the kindness of everyone who contributed to making the blessing a reality.

    “Chi force birthday gift presentation. Thank you guys so much,” she accompanied the video.

    Many of her fans praised her, saying she indeed deserves all the love that is being shown to her on the special day but some others, however, questioned the authenticity of the surprise gift, suggesting the former housemate orchestrated it herself.

    Chinwe was part of the 28 housemates paired up in a team of 14 and unveiled during the BBNaija premier show.

    Chinwe, who entered the BBNaija competition paired with Zion Ogiefa as Zinwe,’ was evicted during the fourth week.

    Meet sets of twins, husband and wife, aunty and niece who hope to win BBNaija Season 9

    No fewer than 28 housemates on Sunday entered the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house for the Season 9 of the reality TV show.

    The season, with theme, “No Loose Guard”, promises exciting twists designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats for the next 10 weeks.

    The grand prize for this season is a spectacular ₦100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.

    The first housemate duo to be introduced into the Big Brother Naija house was the Zinwe pair with individual names, Chinwe and Zion.

    The pair said they were coming into the house as a couple, having been in a relationship for five months.

    Chinwe described herself as a loyal person who would be forging alliances with fellow housemates to make her go far in the game.

    The second pair, Fairy David and Mickey, who go by the name “Radicals”, said they both take pride in the fact that they are virgins.

    The third pair, Flouruish, who have been friends for over ten years said they were in the show “to scatter relationships”.

    DJ Flo and Rhuthee, who make the pair, Florish, described themselves as smart and adventurous individuals.

    The fourth pair, NdiNne, an aunty with her niece, said they were coming to show viewers that “blood is thicker than water”.

    According to the pair, with individual names, Nne and Chinne, they are bringing in 100 per cent authenticity.

    The fifth pair, Aces, with individual names, Topher and Sooj, described themselves as intellectuals and unpredictable individuals.

    The sixth pair, Shatoria, plans to embrace the experience the show has to offer, make friends and have some fun.

    The Shatoria pair have their individual names as Shaun and Victoria.

    The seventh pair, WanniXHandi, 27-year-old identical twins from Kaduna State, who are disc-jockeys, expressed confidence in making it to the final day of the show.

    The twin with individual names, Handi and Wanni, promised to bring in double trouble into the show as they catch some fun.

    According to the twin sisters, they are single but also ready to mingle.

    Ben and Tjay with the pair name, Beta, came in as the eighth pair.

    Another set of twin brothers, the Mbadiwes, who are lawyers, and socialites, made their way to the house as the ninth pair with individual names, Ozee and Ocee.

    Ozee said: “This platform is to help us take whatever we are doing to the next level. We will thrive on the competitions in the house and hope viewers keep us to the end.”

    The 10th pair is TAMI, with individual names, Damilola and Toyosi.

    The 11th housemate pair, Nelita, who have been friends for nine years, promised to be very original in the course of the show, while Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh walked into the show as the 12th duo, with the pair name,  Streeze.

    The 13th pair is a couple who just got married in February, with the pair name, Double Kay, and individual names, Kassia and Kelly Ray.

    The Double Kay pair said they would not disclose their marital status to other housemates throughout the show.

    The 14th pair, who are sisters, go by the pair name,  “Chekas”, with individual names, Onyeka and Chizoba.

    Host of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has cautioned the housemates unveiled on Sunday to serve content or be removed from the BBNaija Season 9 house.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Obi-Uchendu gave the BBNaija Season 9 housemates the word of caution shortly after introducing them into the Big Brother house.

    “The season is going to be competition, competition and more competition. Big Brother has promised that it is going to be a high stakes game of a season. If you snooze, you lose. Who no give content, out,” Ebuka said.

    Big Brother has twerked the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house for Season 9 by introducing some new cool features into BBNaija house.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports BBNaija Season 9 with the theme: “No Loose Guard” launched on Sunday, unveiling a magnificent house.

    Big Brother introduced some new cool features into the house and they include a bar, a gym Double Head of House (HoH) Chair and custodian challenge.

    According to the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu details of the custodian challenge will unravel from Monday.
