She said: “The autopsy result is out and Desola was electrocuted. My daughter died of electrocution. I have been subjected to trauma for the past two weeks. Tomorrow will make it three weeks my baby died. The school made me think I was crazy. They started pushing the narrative of she was sick; she was sickly. They sent letters and publications out.
“People insulted me and my family. My child was electrocuted to death. I told the school I don’t want trouble. All I want is answers. They came to my house and knelt down. I begged, I pleaded, I said ‘Mrs Amao please, I don’t know how autopsy is being done but I have browsed it and the image is scary. Please my daughter is already dead, don’t make me put her through that, they will butcher her. I beg you in the name of God, you are a mother, help me investigate and find out what happened.’”
Videos of the funeral have gone viral on social media.
At the funeral, Mrs Adeniran is seen dressed in black weeping profusely and asking to see her daughter’s corpse in the white coffin.

A Nigerian mum, Mrs Blessing Adeniran, has called on the management of Chrisland High School in Lagos State to come clean to her about the death of her 12-year-old daughter, Desola Whitney Adeniran.
Desola was said to have slumped and died while attending the school’s Interhouse sports held at the Agege Stadium last Thursday, February 9.
In a video posted online, the distraught mum said she was at the event to watch her daughter participate. She said she became worried when she did not see her daughter during the match past as well as other sporting events.
Mrs. Adeniran said she decided to go where the students were all kept to check on her child. She said it was while she was there that she was told by a male student that a certain Whitney fainted and had been rushed to the hospital.
According to her, one of the staff saw her and then told her that Whitney had been rushed to the hospital. On getting there, she met her daughter’s corpse. She said up till now, the school has not given in full detail, about what happened to her child.
The distraught mum said the school claims her 12-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest and slumped. Mrs Adediran said her baby girl was not sick and never had any pre-existing heart condition and wonders why she would suffer a cardiac arrest.
She is demanding the school come clean to her with regards to what really happened to her child so she can bury her child in peace.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) had earlier reported that Michael Adeniran, the father of the deceased, noted that his daughter died on Thursday at the Agege Stadium, which the school used for its sporting activities.
Adeniran claimed his daughter was hale and hearty when the school picked her up for the activities, saying the school had not said anything regarding the incident.
He, therefore, sought the intervention of the Lagos State Government as well as security agencies to investigate the incident and ensure justice is served.
“To the biggest shock of my life by 1 pm in the afternoon, I got a call from my wife that she was informed that our daughter slumped at the inter-house sport and she was rushed to the clinic”, he said.
“My wife was at the venue even before the event started. She was never informed or called until they have conveyed our child out of the venue before they informed her. On arrival of my wife at the health center where they took my daughter. my daughter was lying dead with her lips black and her tongue black.

“My wife called me urgently, I left my office to the place and found my 12-year-old daughter lying dead on the ground. I asked questions about what happened to my daughter and the school authority could not get me any information as to what happened to my child in their care.
“I gave Chrisland school a healthy vibrant young girl what Chrisland returned to me is a dead child. My entire family is in deep sorrow but the school Authority claimed they know nothing about my daughter’s death and all they know is that my daughter slumped and died.
“My question is what happened to my daughter at Agege stadium? As a father, I demand answers from Chrisland International High School. I am in deep pain and sorrow right now. If you are a father you will understand my pain. My daughter is highly loved by us. We cherished her existence and we can never allow an institution to gloss over the death of our daughter.
“Since we started asking this question. The school has been asking us to back down from the autopsy and I know they know their way into the system. I am calling on the pathology department of @lasuth to please be honest with their result. Lagos State government, Nigerian Government, please intervene”, Adeniran concluded.
