    Afrobeats singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has issued a stern warning to fans who constantly draw comparisons between him and his fellow artists.

    Taking to the micro blogging platform Twitter, X, the singer spoke out to a fan, who compared him to his songstress, Ayra Starr.

    BNXN further urged music lovers to stop instigating unnecessary rivalries, as he focuses attention to the importance of unity and celebrating individual achievements.

    In his words: “Stop pitting me against my friends for entertainment.” The ‘Kilometre’ hitmaker, in a follow-uo post restate his message, showcasing his kind-hearted nature. He said: “Pure heart. I’m happy for people and I wait my turn.”

    Afrobeat singer, BNXN has stated that he once thought Nigerian superstar Wizkid was a spirit.

    On Morning Runs with Naija 102.7 FM, BNXN asserted that even though he doesn’t know what he used to achieve, Wizkid always replies to him

    He also said he doesn’t know how many friends Wizkid has but the singer goes as far as apologising if he delays in replying to his messages.

    Before he met the “Essence” hit maker, he always thought that he wasn’t a human being, but a spirit.

    He said, “I thought Wizkid was a spirit before I met him. I don’t know how many friends he has but he always replies to me. I don’t know what I’m using.

    Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as portable has bragged that he bigger than his colleague bigger artist than colleague, BNXN.

    Portable in a recent post on Instagram, bragged on being a relevant singer in the industry than BNXN.

    He shared a screenshot of the number of followers he has since he became popular with that of BNXN and noted that between them, he is the most followed artiste.

    He said:

    “Bojuboju Am faster bigger than buju if Grace work for you them go talk say na juju my face show pass your face.”

    Portable and Skepta earlier this month collaborated on a song titled, ‘Tony Montana’.

    The song is Portable’s first number one song on Apple Music Nigeria since ‘Zazu.’

    Nigerian Singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has tendered an apology to Davido after the former was accused of  disrespected the latter.

    Recall that BNXN threw a shade at Davido while bantering with a fan of the DMW boss on X on Thursday.

    It seemed Davido got angry with BNXN’s post and he deleted a tweet where he teased a collaboration with him.

    Despite Davido’s reaction, BNXN vowed that he would still release the song even without his approval, stressing that he wrote “everything”, while also claiming that fans blew his tweet “out of proportion.”

    However, he apologised on Thursday night after DMW signee, Dremo scolded him for “disrespecting” his boss.

    Dremo tweeted, “@BNXN that tweet was mad disrespectful bro, you can’t be tweeting like you don’t know fans will blow shit out of proportion cos you clearly knew what you…”

    Quoting his tweet, BNXN wrote: “No yawa. I’m sorry.”

    Nigerian hip hop artiste,Daniel Benson popularly known as BNXN has issued out warnings to Nigerian clubs that sell “fake” drinks to desist from the crime, saying they are killing their customers.

    The ‘Finesse’ crooner lamented that he recently paid for a drink at a Lagos club and a “fake” one was delivered to him.

    According to him, he will start calling out clubs engaging in selling fake drinks to people.

     

    On his X handle on Sunday, BNXN wrote, “Stop selling us fake drinks after spending so much money on the overpriced drinks. You’re killing us.

    “Respect my health , Respect my money. Give me what I pay for. If you don’t have it , don’t bring a fake one!

    The next club or lounge that does this to me , I promise i will take that microphone from the hypeman and let you know!”

    Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has berated his colleagues, Ruger and BNXN, aka Buju for always singing about women and other worldly things.

    The controversial singer knocked both artists and asked them to come learn good lyrics from him.

    In a viral video, Portable was seen telling the singers to come and learn music from him.

    The Zazu Crooner also knocked Award organizers for giving awards to Ruger and BNXN, saying they both lack good lyrical content.

    Portable said many singers sing better than Ruger and BNXN.

    He said, “You no sabi sing make we talk truth. Make una help me tell Ruger and Buju [BNXN] make them come to learn music from Dr. Zeh [himself] hand.

    “Them no sabi sing o. All those music wey dem dey sing, we no dey hear wettin dem dey talk well well. No be say we no dey hear English o, their wordings no dey comot.

    “Make dem come learn music. No be to dey sing for woman, woman, woman, woman…And dem go carry award give them. Can’t you praise God? Can’t you talk reality things? Can’t you say wise wordings?”

    Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has blasted new school artists, BNXN and Ruger, saying they do not know how to sing.

    In a trending video, the singer is seen lambasting his colleagues about the manner in which they sing their songs. According to him, the duo mostly sings inaudible lyrics, and their songs are majorly about women.

    Alternatively, he advised them to sing about other things, or better still praise God.

    Portable’s rant comes days after Ruger and BNXN were at loggerheads, after the former accused BNXN, Wizkid, Asake, and others of using streaming farms to boost his songs on charts.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that BNXN, whose real name is Daniel Benson, formerly known as Buju,is a Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, songwriter and record producer.

    He hails from Akwa Ibom state. He was previously signed to Burna Boy’s Spaceship Records, He grew up in Gbagada with his family, relocating to Ogun State.

    BNXN released the extended play project Sorry I’m Late on 27 October 2021, under the management of T.Y.E/EMPIRE.     Ruger, whose real name is Michael Adebayo Olayinka, is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter. Ruger came into lime-light 2021 after he signed a record deal with D’Prince “Jonzing world record” with a publishing and distribution deal with Columbia Records, and Sony Music Entertainment, U.K division.

    Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, Daniel Benson, aka BNXN, has dragged his colleague, Asake, for stealing his slang, ‘Otilo’.

    According to BNXN, other musicians began using the slang after he founded it in 2021, even though they do not understand it.

    The “Finesse” crooner also revealed that he and his team had begun saying ‘Ezz Going’ before other artists jumped on it.

    BNXN, who is formerly known as Buju, noted that people had always inquired about the meaning of the slang only for them to begin saying it.

    One particular artist known for using Otilo while speaking and singing is the current music rave, Asake.

    He wrote: “First they don’t understand it, then they copy it. When me and my people were saying “EZZ GOING” last year N as were like ?? now everybody saying EZZ GOING” / “OTILO’ now , mo ti TRABOSKIIII!! ”

    Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson aka BNXN has explained why he made a shoutout to fellow singer, Ruger during his award acceptance speech at the Headies.

    The 2022 Headies next-rated award winner in an interview with The Nation stated that Ruger is just the least of his worries.

    BNXN also said that he doesn’t want people to think there is a fight between him and Ruger.

    According to him: ‘I needed people to understand that he is the least of my worries, like on a level, if it is competition, talent wise, or anything he is just the least of my worries, this is not a thing I don’t want people to think there is a Buju and Ruger thing (beef). I needed people to understand that I’m doing me and I am more focused on my music and my journey to even caring about another man’s thing’.

    ‘I want to be that guy that just came in and changed everything, the lyricism, the flow, the style, everything’.

    ‘I love OBO, Davido, and it is not really behind closed doors because anytime I see him I always let him know, anywhere he is I let him know, it is not a closed door thing. Also, I love Omah Lay, and Rema. I love a whole lot of artists especially if you are doing something different, if you are bringing something different to the table’.

    Controversial music star, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has revealed why he is bigger than Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, Daniel Benson, aka BNXN, who bagged an award for the Next Rated Artiste at the 15th Headies Award, a category the former was nominated for.

     

    Portable, in a viral video, lamented his loss of the award for Street Artiste, saying why he is bigger than BNXN.

     

    The Headies award was held on September 4th, 2022, in the United States of America.

     

    Portable, who was recently banned by The Headies over his inappropriate conduct after threatening to kill co-nominees for the street artiste award category of the Headie, was seen in a video on Twitter saying “oga, you no blow jo. If you blow, all these ‘iya-alata’ (pepper sellers) go know you. Na who know you?

    “Enter Oshodi motor, dem no fit sing your song. Dem no know you. No be all this mehmeh. Dem dey hear your song? Person wey know police, e go tell police say him be superstar?” he added.

    Portable in the viral video that got him suspended specifically said the award is meant to be his, threatening to kill anyone who emerges winner if he does not.

     

    In the recent video posted below the singer was seen saying it was not his business on the artist who won the street artist, claiming that the artist only sang one song.

     

    BNXN was born in Lagos, Nigeria.

     

    He is an Afro-fusion singer and songwriter.

     

    The artiste grew up in Gbagada with his family, before relocating to Ogun State.
