Boko Haram: Chad President, Idriss Deby leads army to slaughter 100 terrorists, arrest top commander

As the onslaught against Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) continue, Chad’s President Idriss Deby has warned the sect’s factional leader Abubakar Shekau to surrender or risk being killed inside his Dikoa hideout.

Deby issued the warning in a state address to his countrymen shortly after leading his army in an offensive against the terrorists that left about 100 killed.

According to the President who spoke in French, Shekau has the chance to surrender now or risk being smoked out of his hideout in Dikoa and he would be killed the same way some of his commanders were killed.

Following a seven-hour ambush on Chadian troops by the terrorists that left 92 soldiers dead recently, Deby who said he would not accept defeat launched Operation Wrath of Bomo to avenge the death of his men.

Named after the town where the Chadian soldiers were killed, the operation which commenced on Thursday, saw the president leading his armed forces to battle at Kelkoua bank and Magumeri where they fired rockets and 12.5mm rounds ammunition on the criminals.

The troops were said to have also destroyed several BHTs bunkers, recovered cache of arms and arrested a top BHT commander.

At Magumeri, a local government in the northern Borno State, the Chadian troops were alleged to have set free some Nigerian soldiers held captive by terrorists.

According to reports, the Chadian troops have dealt the terrorists massive blow and have advanced into neighbouring countries with a vow to destroy them completely in few days.

Video footages and pictures of the operation which were shared on social media showed corpses of suspected terrorists littering the floor with hundreds of assorted gun lumped together. It also showed a suspect partly covered in blood alleged to be a top Commander who was arrested while fleeing through one of the bunkers.

Hours after the victories of the Chadian armed forces went viral, Shekau released an audio message where he appealed to his fighters to stand form.

Shekau who spoke in Hausa was translated to have said: “People of Chad, leave us alone, this operation is not approved by the Qur’an. It is not the will of the Prophet Muhammed but if you want to continue, God will help us too because he is bigger than you. To my fighters, take heart. It is I, Abubakar Shekau, your leader.”

Meanwhile, Nigerians on social media have continued to sing the praises of Deby dealing the terrorists massive blows at a time own government was offering them amnesty.

Many likened the Chadian President to late Gaddafi, commending him for leading his men into Nigerian soil to free Nigerian soldiers held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists.

  • 47 soldiers die in Boko Haram ambush, Buhari mourns

President Muhammadu Buhari and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces has expressed “profound grief and sorrow’’ over the loss of 47 soldiers ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists in Gorgi Village, Borno State.

“Sacrifices of our gallant patriots cannot be quantified, and their sacrifices cannot go in vain,’’ Buhari said on Tuesday night.

The killing of 47 soldiers on Monday in one fell swoop, was one of the worst moments in recent times in the 11 year-old Boko Haram war, which goes on ferociously despite official line that the enemies have been technically defeated.

While the Nigerian Army has dispatched a team to assess the situation and report back to the government, Buhari rallied the remaining troops not to allow the tragedy affect their morale.

President Buhari said “despite the tragedies and incidents, we cannot allow anarchists and mass murderers to hold the country hostage.’’

He assured that his administration will continue to motivate and equip them adequately in order to cope with the complex challenges of unconventional warfare.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian military has tried to explain how the 47 Nigerian soldiers paid the supreme price on the Boko Haram frontline on Tuesday.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche said the men died when the terrorists ambushed the troops, who were inside a truck providing logistics back up for the frontline troops.

He explained that the truck that also conveyed explosives was hit by terrorists’ fire leading to explosion that affected other trucks conveying fuel.

“As a result, the troops suffered some casualties in the attack leading to killing of 47 soldiers.”

According to him, if you clear a place and you don’t consolidate, there is a problem and so we needed to go with reinforcement of artillery of the land component.

“We also need to go with extra ammunition and supplies.

“The echelon that was behind was the supply echelon. It was carrying fuel and weapons. It was targeted and fired at. The truck was carrying the bomb and then there was explosion.

“The explosion in the real sense was what killed the majority of our troops including the pockets that came to attack.

“That transferred to the other trucks carrying the fuel which caught fire. As a result of that we recorded 47 deaths after the mopping up.

Enenche said despite the deaths, troops yet again recorded success against the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists by killing scores of them at Gorigi in the Allagarno Forest general area of Borno.

Enenche said that the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole achieved the feat when the land component came into contact with mounted terrorists during clearance operations along the forest axis on March 23.

He explained that air assets, including an Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform and fighter jets, were immediately deployed to provide close air support to the troops.

According to him, while the ISR platform provided situational awareness to the troops, the fighter jets engaged the terrorists, immobilising their gun trucks and neutralising an unspecified number of the terrorists.

“As you know, we are in a fluid conflict situation and our gallant troops are out there at the frontlines.

“Between 21 and 23 March, troops of Operation Lafiya Dole were on clearance and fighting patrol operation to Gorgi in Borno which successfully done.

“Some others who attempted to withdraw were also mopped up by the jets in follow-on attacks.

“During the air bombardment, none of the terrorists that came to attack escaped but we cannot ascertain the casualty figure of the terrorists now,” he said.

“The Defence Headquarters commiserate with the families of our fallen gallant heroes who paid the supreme price in the course of defending our fatherland.

“We assure Nigerians that the Armed forces and other security agencies in furtherance of the objective of restoring peace and security in the North East and other parts of the country will continue to sustain the offensive against the enemies of our nation,” he said

  • NAF wipes out ISWAP hideout in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it has destroyed an Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) hideout and neutralised some of the insurgents’ fighters at Mina along the Gulumba Gana-Kumshe Axis in the northern part of Borno.

Air Commodore, Ibikunle Daramola, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, made this known in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

He said the operation was conducted through the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE (OPLD).

Daramola explained that the mission, executed on March 4 as part of the ongoing Operation “DECISIVE EDGE”, was undertaken after a NAF Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft spotted the terrorists assembling in the vicinity of some compounds within the settlement.

“Fighter jets scrambled by the ATF to engage the location scored accurate hits in the target area leading to the destruction of some terrorists’ structures as well as the neutralisation of some of their fighters.

“The NAF, in furtherance of the objective of restoring peace and security in the North East and operating in concert with surface forces, would continue to carry out air interdiction missions against the enemies of our nation,” he said.

  • We will crush Boko Haram in next few days – Buratai

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai has assured that in a matter of days, the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents troubling the North-East, will be crushed.

Buratai said, few days ago, troops deployed in Damboa Bornu State recorded a resounding tactical victory against the insurgents, where the terrorists lost lot of men and equipment.

The Army boss who was represented by the Chief of Policy, Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General Lamidi Adeosun, during the Nigerian Army Special Day at the ongoing 41st Kaduna International Trade fair.

According to him, “specifically, few days ago, our troops deployed in Damboa Bornu State recorded a resounding tactical victory against the evil forces of Boko Haram who dared the superiority of our Forces.

“They paid very dearly for it by the monumental losses in men and equipment. Let me once more remind us that the ongoing operations in the NE is asymmetrical and not a conventional warfare. We hereby solicit the support, prayers, patience and understanding of all Nigerians.

He said although the primary role of the Army is to defend the territorial integrity of the nation, the army is now prepared to contribute to Nigeria’s economic development.

“The Nigerian Army, apart from its primary role of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria is also involved in fighting insurgency in the North East and other internal security operations across the length and breadth of the Nation.

“However, in line with global trends, the NA is developing its capacity to contribute to the economic development agenda of the present political leadership through the establishment of some army units such as Nigeria Army Farm and Ranches, NA Post Service Housing Development Limited, Command Engineering Depot as well as NA Property Limited and NA Welfare Limited by Guarantee.

“These outfits not only serve the interest of NA personnel but also avail its products and services to the general public at relatively affordable prices hence our participation at Kano, Abuja and now Kaduna International Trade Fairs.

“The overall objective is to make the NA a people’s army with versatility in fighting the enemies of Nigeria and food insecurity on the other hand.” He said.

He commended Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) who in collaboration with Command Engineering Depot (CED) researched, developed and produced EZUGWU, the first indigenous Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle using 70 per cent local content. He stressed that the strategic alliance between DICON and CED has led to the Jos production of patrol vehicles, bullet proof vests, bailistic helmets, mines and IED clearance equipment.

“These vehicles and equipment which are on display at this venue have been inducted into the military counter insurgency operations in the North F Other NA outfits that have added value to the economic development of the Nigeria include NA Post Service Housing Scheme. NA Proper Ltd and Nigerian Army Farms and Ranches.” He said.

  • Damboa: Former CP, Tsav hails Buratai, Nigerian troops over display against Boko Haram terrorists

Ex-Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, has commended the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai and his gallant troops for a display of sheer “gallantry and patriotism” against Boko/ISWAP terrorists.

According to Mr Tsav, the COAS has once again silenced his critics and proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is worthy of President Muhammadu Buhari’s trust and that of Nigerians despite the conspiracy.

Scores of insurgents lost their lives on Wednesday after the gallant troops repelled an attack in Damboa, a town 85 kilometres away from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

The Nigerian soldiers were unscathed from a five-hour gun duel which left dead bodies of the insurgents and their 19 abandoned trucks littered on the ground.

Being a security expert himself, Alhaji Tsav likened the Nigerian troops to its American counterparts with zero tolerance for terrorists.

He expressed pride in their consistent show of bravery and courage amidst distraction by paid critics behind beguile negative scripts.

Mr. Tsav added that this may not have been achieved without Lt. Gen Buratai’s focused leadership and tenacity, who he says has done enough to earn his respect and that of all Nigerians.

This victory, according to the ex-CP, however, is an indication that all the military need is encouragement and not disparagement from Nigerians.

  • Insecurity: Why the madness of Education Abroad for ‘Repentant Terrorists’? – Jumu’ah Abiodun

Insecurity: Why the madness of Education Abroad for ‘Repentant Terrorists’? – Jumu’ah Abiodun

    By Jumu’ah Abiodun

“Should the bill to grant “repentant” terrorists education abroad scale through the Nigerian Senate, US, UK, Canada, EU, Australia and selected Africa countries will unquestionably ban Nigeria from both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas in light of the fact that no sensible government will open its borders for terrorists, ‘repentant’ or not.”

The Buhari administration in its blatant lies told the world that closure of the borders has reduced insecurity drastically due to containment of the inflow of ammunitions through the borders yet Boko Haram is executing Nigerians like chicken consistently.

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, the Boko Haram sect killed 4, and injured many more in twin suicide bomb attacks at a mosque in Gwoza, Borno state.

Sunday, February 9, 2020, Boko Haram killed at least 30 people while sleeping, destroyed 18 vehicles, abducted women and children in the attack which took place in Auno town on a major highway in Borno State.

A few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari’s condolence visit to Maiduguri on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, over the killing on Sunday of 30 people on Auno town, Boko Haram made a push for the troubled town.

The insurgents at about 7 pm attacked Jiddari Polo, on the outskirts of Maiduguri, causing many residents to flee from the town.

The Buhari government keeps lying over and over again, said that the Islamists sect have technically been defeated however the killings continue.

One could remember vividly when President Buhari came to power in 2015; he pledged to more than 180 million Nigerians that he would crush the insurgents.

The no 4 agenda of the Buhari administration manifesto on Politics and Governance is to prevent the abuse and misuse of Executive, Legislative and Public offices, through greater accountability, transparency, strict, and implementable anti-corruption laws; through the strengthening and sanitising the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC and Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC as independent entities.

From the above paragraph alone, it is clear that President Buhari used deception to gain power in 2015; no government in Nigeria since the return of democracy has ever abused and misused the power of the Executive branch of government like Buhari. During this present administration, there has never been regard for the rule of law and a glaring example of that is illegal detention of ex-National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, for years, despite various court rulings that granted bail to him.

The administration also detained the publisher of Sahara Reporters and Convener of Revolution Now, Mr Omoyele Sowore and his colleagues for months, despite different courts rulings on their release, Buhari refused to order his men to release them. Dasuki, Sowore and his men were released on 2019 Christmas Eve.

“I will push for more robust support in the Security and Economic stability of the West-African sub-region and African Continent as a whole. I will seek and maintain a close and frank relationship with all West-Africa; Special relationship with South Africa and its Sub-region, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, European Union, Asia, and the Middle East, “, Buhari said during electioneering campaigns.

‘Sai Baba’ as popularly known before he assumed office in 2015 also promised to push for support in the Security and Economic stability of our country. Instead of doing that, Buhari closed the borders which ultimately enriched his people in the north.

His negligence on security also led to the immigrant visa ban on Nigeria by the US government.

Either via Private member or Executive bill, a bill that will permit ‘repentant’ Boko Haram members who have killed over 35, 000 Nigerians, rendered more than two million homeless and hundreds have been abducted in the conflict to study abroad has now passed the first reading. The Islamists sects, Boko Haram means ‘Education is Forbidden’, so why the stupidity of education abroad especially for Boko Haram adherents?

“Should the bill to grant “repentant” terrorists education abroad scale through the Nigerian Senate, US, UK, Canada, EU, Australia and selected Africa countries will unquestionably ban Nigeria from both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas in light of the fact that no sensible government will open its borders for terrorists, ‘repentant’ or not.”

“Common sense is not common, being a professor doesn’t mean you won’t be selfish or lack knowledge of what your people want, having 109 senators at the red chamber, none of them think of the ramifications of sending terrorists abroad for education. Ostensibly after graduation, one of them could end up most likely as an Osama bin Laden.”

This is crystal clear, we all know that average northerner cannot even write their name talk less to comprehend what education is about.

Our “Mr Integrity” also promised to amend the Constitution to remove immunity from prosecution for elected officers criminal cases.

A government which campaigned to fight corruption is now found to energize corruption. Under the Buhari watch, the then Secretary to the Government of Federation, Babachir Lawal, was sacked due to his role in a multimillion naira grass-cutting scam contract at the Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camps.

His Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari was also accused of N500 million bribery allegation from MTN and another N29.9m contract scam.

President Buhari who was known to be a poor man with many cows before he assumed office; where on earth his son Yusuf got the money to buy power-bikes worth $157, 000.00.

In 2018, his minister of state transport (Aviation) now Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, and his team arrived in London to launch the ‘dead on arrival’ Nigeria Air. Sirika is accused of siphoning over N1.2b on a phoney Nigeria Air project, which was eventually suspended by the federal government.

Mr Integrity nominated and appointed former Akwa Ibom state governor, Godswill Akpabio, who was charged for N108b fraud as a Minister of the Niger Delta. The EFCC is investigating allegations that the former governor, embezzled the fund during his tenure between 2007 and 2015. This led EFCC to have written to five banks demanding information on Akwa Ibom State finances under Akpabio’s administration. He’s currently enjoying immunity under the party of “saints”, All Progressives Congress (APC).

In spite of Buhari administration acclaimed anti-corruption posture, the trended video of Gov Abdullahi Ganduje’s bribe video scandal in the last quarter of 2018 where he was caught collecting large chunk of US dollars from undisclosed associate.

Another of his allies who is not left out on the list is a former governor of Rivers State and presently Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, who was accused of alleged misappropriation of N97bn through the sale of the state valued assets.

These are a few among very many corruption cases of “Mr Integrity’s” allies and party chieftains.

I think President Buhari should sit and look back at how he has ruined this country with his incompetence and his fake and lopsided anti-corruption crusade. We are certainly NOT deceived.

  • Army speaks on recruitment of Boko Haram terrorists into service

The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin, has dismissed reports that repentant and rehabilitated Boko Haram members were being recruited into the Nigerian military.

Olonisakin, who was represented by Chief of Defence Policy and Plans, AVM Nurudeen Balogun, stated this at a stakeholders’ Meeting of Operation Safe Corridor (OPSC) on Thursday in Abuja.

The meeting was convened by the Defence Headquarters to work out modalities for the transfer of rehabilitated ex-Boko Haram terrorists to their national and state governments.

He said there have also been fears that products of OPSC were being recruited into the military and paramilitary organisations.

“I wish to categorically refute the claim and assure Nigerians that none of the rehabilitated Nigerians from OPSC Deradicalization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration has been recruited into the Nigerian Military or any sister security agencies.

“Stringent measures have been put in place to prevent such from happening. The Federal Government of Nigeria and indeed the armed forces as well as the Security agencies are committed to ending the insurgency in the North East and other forms of criminalities bedeviling the nation,” he said.

Olonisakin said that the military had made progress in the fight against insurgency. He added that activities of Boko Haram/Islamic State of West African Province terrorists had been greatly restricted to a small portion of Sambisa forest and isolated islands on the Lake Chad.

According to him, the sect carry out occasional attacks on soft military and civil targets, and very lately, disruption of movement on major highways in the North East to create apprehension and insecurity.

“However, through consistent and effective air interdiction and regular clearance operations on identified strongholds of the insurgents, the Sect has suffered heavy casualties in its leadership cadre causing confusion in their ranks.

“As at today, over 1,000 high profile Boko Haram Terrorists/Islamic State of West African Province members have been captured/arrested and investigated, out of which over 500 have been convicted by courts of competent jurisdiction.

“Generally, counterinsurgency operations are dynamic and requires ingenuity to achieve desired results. Consequently, President Muhammadu Buhari in using the multi-dimensional approach to addressing the insurgency, extended an olive branch to willing and repentant low-profile Boko Haram Terrorists/Islamic State of West African Province members.

“Mr President therefore directed the establishment of OPERATION SAFE CORRIDOR to create opportunities for them to lay down their arms and undergo a structured De-radicalization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Programme.

The Scheme is multi-agency in nature with over 450 staff drawn from 17 Services, Ministries, Departments and Agencies with the support of local and international partners as well as friendly nations.

“OPSC activities are guided by extant provisions of international humanitarian and human right laws as well as the Constitution of the Federal Government of Nigeria,” he said.

  • Boko Haram invades Borno village few weeks after notifying community of attack

There was pandemonium on Wednesday morning in Borno State as Boko Haram insurgents reportedly attacked Damboa village.

According to reports, unspecified number of people including security operatives lost their lives in the attack.

According to a local vigilante who witnessed the attack, the insurgents had earlier written to the communities of Damboa of their planned attack. Though they were said to have made several failed attempts until Wednesday today when the lunched their attack.

Some of the eyewitnesses said the insurgents came at about 30 gun trucks mounted and began to fire sporadically at anything within sight.

The soldiers were said to be in position, ready to repel attacks, having been pre-informed of the planned attack by the insurgents.

“ When they starting shooting people began to run to the bush. The hunters and CJTF along with soldiers engaged them, but it seems they have come prepared until the soldiers get air support before the insurgents began to withdraw, ” Adamu Yusuf disclosed.

Another resident, Isa Adamu said, the insurgents were being expected since yesterday, but they did not show up until this morning and they came from three directions, a situation which almost threw the soldiers into confusion.

Sanusi Ibrahim said both the ground soldiers and the air force support helped the soldiers to overcome the attackers.

We are lucky because of the Air force jet. It would have been worse without them. The soldiers on the ground also did well,” he informed.

Damboa is located between Alagarno and Sambisa forest. It has been one of the vulnerable villages prone to Boko Haram attack because of its proximity to.

Meanwhile, the number of casualty is still not certain as no official statement has been released by the Army

  • Boko Haram war: Nigerian Air Force opens aircraft hangar in Maiduguri

The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has opened an aircraft hangar at the 105 Composite Command, Maiduguri, to enhance its operations in the counter insurgency campaign in the northeast.

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal, Sadique Abubakar, inaugurated the hangar on Sunday.

Abubakar said the hanger was designed to enhance aircraft maintenance, provide enabling environment and improve the wellbeing of personnel and motivate them towards effective service delivery.

“The maintenance of aircraft is a major problem here; because the maintenance is usually done outside under high, hot temperature sometimes during sun storm.

“Now we can bring our aircraft into the hangar and do the maintenance in comfort; the airmen will be more relaxed, concentrate more and do a better job. They will also feel that the system is concerned about them.

“That feeling itself has a way in translating into serviceable aircraft and more serviceable aircraft means more platforms to fight terrorists.

“Secondly; the harsh weather condition has a way of affecting the hydraulics of our aircraft because aircraft parked outside need silver covering in the cockpit to reflect heat away but if they are inside the hangar they do not need that.

“In essence the aircraft is going to fly more, you will have more serviceable aircraft and you do not have difficulty in getting what you are required to do.

“And thirdly; it is cheaper, the whole hangar was dismantled from another Air Force unit where we feel it is not being utilized fully and we believed that bringing it here will serve the Air Force and Nigeria better.

“We brought it to Maiduguri and everything was done by our personnel of the Directorate of Services, headed by Group Capt. Abubakar. They came and put it together, the benefits are enormous.”

Abubakar reiterated commitment of the service to provide substantial equipment to meet the needs of personnel of the Air Task Force (ATF) Command of Operation Lafiya Dole, to ensure successful implementation of the counter insurgency campaign.

While commending the personnel for their sacrifice and dedication, Abubakar urged them to display high sense of commitment, discipline and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

AVM Precious Amadi, the ATF Commander, lauded the gesture, adding that it would go a long way to motivate and enhance its operations.

Amadi also commended the CAS over provision of equipment, execution of accommodation and viable projects as well as capacity building and staff welfare programmes.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Abubakar is in Maiduguri to appraise progress of the ongoing Operation “Rattle Snake III”.

The CAS was accompanied in the visit by AVM James Gwani and other senior officers of the service.

  • Boko Haram: Nigerians will soon have cause to celebrate Army again, says Archbishop Ediwe

The Archbishop of the South-South Pentecostal Churches in Nigeria, Archbishop Julius Ediwe has stated that Nigerians would have a cause to celebrate the efforts of the Nigerian Army in the fight against terrorism in the country in no distant time.

The clergy, who is known for his many predictions on the state of affairs in Nigerian as regards the Boko Haram/ISWAP insurgency, stated this in an interview with journalists recently. In the interview, he emphasized the fact that there has been a strategic alliance against Nigeria by neighbouring francophone countries, and this has been aiding and abetting the Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in launching offensives in Nigeria.

“The war against terrorism in Nigeria has assumed a dangerous dimension that has seen to the fact that some of our neighbors have been carrying out acts that undermine the efforts of the Nigerian Army is ensuring that the remnants of the terrorist group are wiped out.”

“This is a serious endeavor that requires not only the physical effort but also the spiritual efforts in praying and fasting for God in his infinite mercies to come to the rescue of Nigeria in this critical point of our existence.”

He took a swipe at France and other francophone countries along the Lake Chad basin region for the inglorious role they have been playing that has seen to the buoyancy of the activities of the group in recent times.

“France and its allies must realize that they have not been good neighbors of Nigeria for whatever reason. A situation where the Boko Haram group have found solace in their territories from where they launch attacks in Nigeria is ungodly and against every known form of being one’s brother’s keeper.”

“In the book of Romans 14:19, the bible stated that “So then let us pursue what makes for peace and mutual up building.” They must understand that there been neighbors to Nigeria should be for good and not for evil. The instruction in the bible is explicit.”

The clergy added that the South-South Pentecostal Churches have been interceding on behalf of Nigeria, and there are signs that the end of the Boko Haram/ISWAP group is near.

“As we know, there is currently some in-fighting in the Boko Haram/ISWAP camp, and this is as a result of the relentless prayers offered by well-meaning Nigerians, as well as the tremendous efforts of the Nigerian military against the insurgents.”
“Remember that I mentioned earlier that with the way things are going, it is now a combination of both physical and spiritual efforts that are required to win this war completely. I am glad about the results so far and return all the praises.”

“They are tired of perambulating in the bushes because they do not have any base due to the constant pressure been mounted by the Nigerian Army in operation. This is indeed a sign that their end is indeed near, and Nigerians would have cause to celebrate their defeat by the grace of God.”

The fiery cleric added that there are several revelations from God concerning Nigeria, and one of them is the fact that in the coming days and weeks, many more Boko Haram members would drop their arms and surrender.

“We have heard from God concerning Nigeria and the fight against the forces of evil that have conspired against our peace and unity. God revealed to us in the book of Deuteronomy 20:4 “for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”

“I wish to tell Nigerians that indeed great victory is coming our way because God is not a man that he should lie. He has promised, and he will never fail.
