Why I can’t date Burna Boy – BBNaija’s Uriel reveals

Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa, has opened up about why, despite finding Burna Boy attractive, she wouldn’t consider dating the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist.

Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast Inside Scoop, Uriel admitted that Burna Boy fits her ideal type, praising his rugged appearance, masculine vibe, and strong presence.

“He’s definitely my type. I love that rugged, manly-man energy. He has this powerful presence, and those muscles — I’m into that,” she said with a laugh.

However, Uriel made it clear that she values exclusivity in relationships and couldn’t handle sharing her partner’s attention, especially with someone as high-profile as Burna Boy.

“I want to be the only woman in my man’s life. I want all the attention. And with someone like Burna? That would be really difficult,” she confessed.

She went on to explain that being with a celebrity constantly surrounded by admirers would be emotionally draining for her. “I know myself. I don’t have the emotional strength to deal with that kind of heartbreak. I’d be crying every day,” she added.

TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that in October, Darlington was detained after his colleague Burna Boy filed a petition against him, for questioning the authenticity of Burna Boy’s Grammy award, linking the A-list artiste to embattled music mogul Sean Combs, known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy.

Darlington was rearrested barely two months after his first arrest and has since been in custody for jumping bail in an ongoing investigation into a petition filed against him by his colleague, Burna Boy.

In a post shared on Instagram, Bobrisky said prison is not nice place and that he knows Speed Darlington doesn’t have money to secure a place in the VIP section because it is quite expensive.

He wrote: “I just wanna mind my business dis year and stay away from anything that connect with Nigeria celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me thinking of many things. Please prison is not a nice place. I dont think he has money for VIP section cos its expensive. Pls.

“None of this people i am using my platform to stand for did d same for me when it was my time, but you know what? Our heart is different. I can’t just stand human being hurt. I pray burna pls release him 45 days in prison that’s enough punishment.”

  • Davido bares it all on relationship with Wizkid, Burnaboy, others

Davido bares it all on relationship with Wizkid, Burnaboy, others

International superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has given honest revelations about his rivalry with Popstar, Ayo Balogun also known as Wizkid.

In part II of a tell-it-all interview powered by BounceRadioLive.com hosted by media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the singer opened up on his near-decade-long career, the rivalry between him, Wizkid and Burna Boy as well as how fans played a role in the development.

According to Davido, Wizkid was among those who motivated him to do music and had a conviction that he could also make it in the industry.

Davido said his first encounter with Wizkid was when the singer got invited to his billionaire father’s yearly Christmas party.

According to the FEM crooner, he joined his family members in gushing over the singer who was the rave of the moment at the time. But the problem began when people started pitching them against each other.

“Do you know where I met Wiz, we used to do Christmas party every year in my Dad’s house, and they invited Wizkid and he came. I met him that time but we never linked then I met him again when I came back.

“Me and Wiz dey roll oo, we dey go beach, dive. Wiz was in Dami Duro bro. Nah Wiz first carry me go blackhouse where area boiz dey chase our motor.

Speaking about how things started falling apart, Davido said it was never being on his part but from the fans and people around them.

Davido, however, submitted that he loves Wizkid, and he knows the singer feels the same way about him, adding that listening to fans also has a way of straining the relationship between both of them.

“That’s my brother, I love Wizkid and I know he loves me too,” he said.

Speaking on his relationship with Burna Boy, Davido described Burna as his brother adding that he is one of the happiest people on earth about his success.

However, the singer said it appeared things got rough between them some months ago.

According to Davido, his latest single Fem is not entirely about Burna Boy but he meant the part where he asked the Grammy-nominated artist to call him and come party.

“Me and Burna are brothers, two of us cannot sit in a room without and fight, we don pass that p. I was the happiest for Burna’s success. Do you know how many times have said it that if Burna get the chance, nah him go be number one.

“Burna is my brother, I met Burna since 2010 bro. Even after he blew up we were still cool. It was just over a while, we started hearing these. I have never in my life said I want to do anything bad to him.

“I am happy fro him, forget, it doesn’t take anything from me,” he added.

The music star also told Ebuka that is clear that both Wizkd and Burna Boy are the ones fighting with him even if he has nothing against them.

  • Nobody paved the way for me – Burna Boy declares

Nobody paved the way for me – Burna Boy declares

Nigerian Afrofusion singer and Grammy nominee Burna Boy has declared that no one paved the way for him as a singer.

The singer disclosed that he stopped caring about being the best after Timaya told him that “the world can do without the best”.

When asked where he was when Afrobeat was “crawling” between 2010-2018, Burna Boy affirmed that nobody paved the way for him. He added that Nigerian singers were begging and paying the western world for their songs to be heard before he brought Africans the respect they now have.

His statement has triggered scathing criticisms from Nigerians who believe the statement he made reeks of pride.

A certain fan wrote:” One thing that takes you far in life is, HUMILITY and RESPECT. These musical legends, their only competitor was themselves. They made music that everyone enjoyed with less advancement and recognition. That’s real hustle. Till today, you play their music and it feels fresh. Burna boy, calm down. Sorry, only few of these new artists have that spark, freshness in their music. The music nowadays is very fleeting and artists just want quick money to sustain”.

Another fan wrote:” Your fans paved the way for you by listening and buying your music”.

GK wrote: “Brought you the respect you currently enjoy ??” So the likes of Tuface and Dban’j nko? Currently, even Tuface and Davido are 3 times better than you. Guy your pride and arrogance are on a different level”.
