    Cardi B is no longer divorcing Offset, TMZ reports

    Cardi’s lawyers filed to dismiss the rapper’s complaint for divorce and other relief today (November 2) in Fulton County Superior Court.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Cardi B opened a contested divorce case against Offset in September. The next month, however, she said on Instagram Live that she and Offset were back together.

    Cardi B and Offset secretly married in September 2017. They made a public announcement with an on-stage proposal later that month. In July 2018, Cardi gave birth to their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus.

    American rapper, Cardi B has reacted to the nationwide #EndSARS protest aimed at stopping police brutality in Nigeria.

    Her reaction was triggered after a Nigerian on Twitter (@Asiwajulerry} had tweeted.

    He wrote: “Madam @iamcardib, trump is not your only problem. Your beloved Nigeria is currently in a state of pandemonium. We are not safe!! If you’ve ever loved this country, please help use your platform to create more awareness for us. Enough is enough! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARSNow!!”.

    Replying to the tweet, Cardi B asked for a summary of what’s happening in Nigeria and also promised to research on it later. She went on to express her love for Nigeria.

    She tweeted in response:What’s going ? Can you give me a summary so I can research later ….you know I love Nigeria”.

    Renowned rapper, Cardi B has explained why she filed for divorce from her husband of three years and Migos rapper, Offset.

     

    The rap queen during an Insta Live session, on Saturday, revealed that Offset’s infidelity was not the reason for their split.

    She also said she did not file for divorce as a publicity stunt for her upcoming album but because they couldn’t live together as a couple anymore.

     

    “I have seen all the love and prayers that you guys have been sending me, however, I don’t really need it. I want to let you all know that I’m okay and I have not shed not one tear.

     

    “Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of energy.

     

    “But this time, it’s different because I wasn’t crying.

     

    “You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of any of that stuff that ever happened before.

     

    “It’s also not because of cheating because I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.

    “That’s a whole complete lie and this is the second time people are trying to pin babies over here.

     

    “The issue is that I just got tired of constant arguments, I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye.

     

    “I felt like things aren’t the same anymore, so before anyone actually get cheated on, I rather just leave.

     

    “Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart.

     

    “I have been with this man for four years, I have a kid with him and also a household.

     

    “Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up.

     

    “You get tired sometimes and before something bad happens, you leave,” she said.

    Cardi B files for divorce from Offset after three years of marriage

    Legal records confirmed that Grammy winner Cardi B is putting an end to her marriage with Offset.

    According to court documents making the rounds in the media, Cardi and her legal team said the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” She is asking for child support from Offset and hopes the divorce “will be settled by agreement of the parties.”

    As pop culture fans know, this Hollywood power couple has experienced plenty of highs and lows in their love story. After the pair secretly got married in Sept. 2017, Cardi confirmed in Dec. 2018 that they were calling it quits.

    But after Offset publicly pleaded with his wife for forgiveness after admitting to infidelity, the pair agreed to work on things for their daughter.

    “When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me,” Cardi shared in Vogue’s Jan. 2020 issue. “A lot of women felt disappointed in me.”

    Popular American rapper, Cardi B has shared a nude photo of Melania Trump, the first lady of the United States, after DeAnna Lorraine complemented the latter to discredit the singer.

    Lorraine, a political correspondent, had taken to her Twitter page to make a post where she praised the first lady, claiming — in what appeared to be a diss — that the US needs more women like her than the ‘Bodak’ rapper.

    “America needs far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B,” she had tweeted.

    Replying in the early hours of Wednesday, the Grammy-winning singer retorted by sharing a picture of Melanie, writing, “This pic giving me ‘yea you f**kin wit some wet a** p**sy’ vibes… just saying.”

     

    TheNewsGuru recalls that the picture she shared is from Melania’s 1995 shoot for the now-defunct French magazine Max, for which she posed entirely naked.

    The outspoken rapper took to her Twitter page on Monday, January 6, 2020, where she shared a photo of her hubby, Offset dressed in the Nigerian traditional ‘Agbada’ (Photoshopped). She went on to caption the photo with a quote where she pleaded with fans to convince him to join her.

    “Convince him to move with me,” she wrote.

     

     

     

     

    As expected, her fans in Nigeria have flooded the comment section of her Twitter page, trying to convince Offset to join her on the journey to her proposed new home, Nigeria.

    American rapper, Cardi B has threatened to file for Nigerian citizenship.

    The rapper who visited Nigeria back in December 2019, took to Twitter on Friday to share her thoughts on Trump ordering the killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani.

     

    After news of his death broke, the country’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei sparked fears of war after he promised ‘harsh vengeance’. And now Cardi’s weighed in, calling it the Trump’s ‘dumbest move’ yet.

     

    ‘Naaaaa these memes are fuckin,’ the Bodak Yellow singer tweeted.

     

    ‘But shit ain’t no joke! Specially being from New York. ‘Its sad this man is putting Americans live in danger. Dumbest move Trump did till date.

     

    ‘I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship.’

     

    In response to the tweet, one fan wrote: ‘Ok BardiGang guess we’re all moving to Nigeria.’

     

    While another pleaded: ‘take me to nigeria with you’. And another similarly suggested: ‘take me with you I’ll start filling out my adoption paper work’.

     

    Ever since Cardi B made the statement, she has been trending in Nigeria.

    The American rapper sure had a lots of fun, but then.. she noticed that there was a whole lot of tension between Ghana and Nigeria.

    Cardi has said the ‘tension’/beef between the two West African neighboring countries isn’t true, as portrayed outside the world. She compared both countries with Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

    Ghana and Nigeria have been at ‘war’ on social media over politics, entertainment and most importantly, food (especially jollof).

    “I didn’t know that the beef between Ghana and Nigeria is fake. They are just like Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico – they love each other but they fake beef with each other,” she told her Instagram fans.

    She added that she wished she had more time to spend in Ghana and Nigeria because she enjoyed her stay.
