    American rapper, Cardi B has declared that she is already missing Nigeria

     

    An excited Cardi B took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, where she shared a post of herself during her performance in Nigeria with a caption;

    “Missing Nigeria.” One thing is for sure, she had an amazing time in the country and Nigerians were more than happy to have her around.

     

    The rapper took to her Instagram page on Friday, December 6, 2019, where she posted a series of videos from her hotel room in Nigeria. She went to talk about not wanting to have the hotel food, rather she would love to eat the real Nigerian Jollof rice.

     

    “Alright this 7 o’clock in the morning I want to go to the f**king hood. I want to see the real Nigeria. I want to eat the hotel food I want like real Nigerian food, all that fish, all that Nigerian Jollof rice, all that, all that,” she said.

     

     

  • Cardi B apologizes to allegations of snubbing Ghanaian celebrities [VIDEO]

    Popular American rapper, Cardi B has apologized to Ghanaian celebrities over the commotion in Accra during her visit over the weekend.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Ghanaian celebrities on social media called out Cardi B for neglecting them during a meet-and-greet event in Accra.

    Ghanaian media personality and comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger on her Instagram page publicly slammed Cardi B.

    According to her, Cardi B didn’t regard them by eating Kebab and wasting their time.

    She wrote: “I will not wait 4 hrs for Jesus, won’t do that for Cardi B.

    “The cheap so-called celebrities are still waiting for their fellow human being till 8:40 pm while madam is on some coke and kebab.”

    Some of these comments got to Cardi B and she quickly sort to address the issue, apologizing for her unavailability.

    Cardi B said she had no knowledge of a ‘Meet and Greet’ organized in Ghana, adding that she also had a stomach problem on arrival in Accra.

    However, Cardi B stressed that it wasn’t her fault and chided those celebrities who came to the hotel and snubbed her.

    “You all B**ches coming on social media saw me around the pool at the time of the meet and greet but was staring why didn’t you approach me and welcome me to Accra then make me aware of the meet and greet.

    “I was not aware of the meet and greet. I came down to the poolside around 3 pm and checked my phone and saw all the comments and complaints.

    “Later I had a running stomach. I get paid to do my shit and give a fu*k about my fans.

    “I didn’t feel comfortable doing the shows but I did because I’m already here.”

    Vociferous Afia Schwarzenegger who was one of the showbiz personalities eager to meet Cardi B and exchange pleasantries took to social media to express her fury about the unpleasant development.

    The comedienne labelled organisers of the event ‘idiots’ while mentioning that she will not wait any longer because she is not cheap.

    “For a meet and greet, and then we will be sitting here and she is chewing khebab and the next is, Cardi B will be available at 8:30 PM. Idiots! Do you know how my time cost?” she fumed. “I go to wedding 40 minutes and I take GHC10,000 equivalent to 2,000 dollars. I should sit here and wait for Cardi B? The cheap, talentless, fameless celebrities need it and they can do it. Me, I am Queen Afia Schwarzenegger, Queen of comedy. I shit in her mouth.”

    Socialite Hajia4Real who is equally angry has said she feels embarrassed.

    “I am really hurt. I am so so disappointed,” she said. “You know I was officially invited alongside with other celebrities to come and have a meet and greet with Cardi B but guess what? The organizers didn’t even let her show up, I came to the pool side and where she was chewing khebab. Yeah, it’s so embarrassing, like I’m sorry, all the celebrities that came out, sorry to you guys, sorry to me. We deserve better like this is really really sad. You know, I am a fan that is why I agreed to be here but I was treated anyhow.”

    Wendy shay who was also angry wrote; “So, you guys called us to come have a one-on-one lunch date with Cardi B and she has been chewing Khebab for 7 hours in her room, without showing up. What do you guys take Ghana celebrities for? This can never happen in Nigeria. Wake up Ghana! She is cardi B and I am Wendy Shay!”

    American rapper ,Cardi B has said she watches either music videos or porn in the hotel when she visits countries around the world for performances.

     

    Cardi B made this known while speaking with Cool FM on Friday — following her arrival in Lagos ahead of Livespot X Festival, a concert set to be her first performance in Nigeria.

     

    While responding to her interlocutors who had hinted they would be visiting a Lagos night club, Cardi B said she would be storming what she described as “the hood” in the commercial city — although she didn’t reveal what part that would be.
    “Let me tell you something. When I go anywhere, I don’t go outside. I stay in my hotel, look at some of my videos, look at porn. And I don’t want to go outside. You could tell. When I’m in any country. But in Lagos, I wanna go outside,” Cardi B said.
    The American rap star has so far released one studio album and two solo mixtapes — doubling as the first female rap artiste to win the Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
    She has also been recording her sophomore album in recent times.
    Cardi B also recently teased what appeared to be a new remix of ‘Fall’, Davido’s much-acclaimed track, off ‘A Good Time’ album.
  • Cardi B visits Lagos strip club

    American rapper and ex-stripper, Cardi B is undoubtedly having a great time in Nigeria.

    The rapper, who is visiting the country for the first time, visited a popular Lagos strip club with Nigerian-American artiste, Jidenna on Friday night.

    Cardi B shared snippets of her time in the club on her official Instagram handle.

    In one of the videos, she could be seen spraying some Naira notes on some of the strippers at the club.

    The self-proclaimed Queen of the Bronx is expected to perform at the Livespot X Festival which will hold at the Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.

    The vivacious rapper would be joined on stage by some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes by the likes of Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Niniola, and Wande Coal.

    Since her arrival, Cardi B has been sharing her experience in the country with her over 55 million Instagram fans.

    Amazingly, Nigerians on Twitter have been pouring encomiums on her for putting the positive traits of Lagos in the spotlight.

     

    Speaking on what she likes about Nigeria, the mother of one likened Lagos to New York saying, “There are so many people and it’s like New York!”.

    Cardi B, an American singer and songwriter, says she was once sexually harassed by a photographer during a magazine photoshoot.

    The 26-year-old hip-hop star made this known during a recent interview with Angie Martinez, a TV and radio host, on WE TV’s ‘Untold Stories of Hip Hop’.

     

    “I went to shoot for this magazine and the photographer, he was trying to get close to me like, ‘Yeah, you want to get in this magazine?’ Then he pulled his dick out. I was so mad. You know what’s crazy? I told the magazine owner and he just looked at me like, ‘So? And?,’” she said.

    “When I see the #MeToo movement, there’s girls from the hood I know that went through the same type of treatment. They make you feel like you got to do a certain type of thing. It happens every day.”

    Although the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper neither named the magazine or photographer who harassed her during the photoshoot, she was using the event as a reference while speaking on women as victims of sexual harassment.

    When asked by Martinez whether that still happens to her, Cardi responded, “Oh, hell no. I’ll put you on blast on my Instagram … I’ll f***ing violate.”

     

    Ever since her big break in 2017, Cardi has earned five Grammy nominations and a US no. 1 with her debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy‘.

     

    The American songstress recently made her big-screen debut alongside Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu in ‘Hustlers’, a film about the fraudulent escapades of club strippers.

    The movie was, however, banned in Malaysia because of its “excessive obscene content”.

    The trailer for the anticipated movie ‘Hustlers’ has been released featuring Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, and Constance Wu.
    ‘Hustlers’ sees Cardi B return to her stripper background to make her big-screen debut alongside J.Lo and Wu.
    It opens up with Lopez showing off her pole dancing moves to Wu as the savvy ex-strippers team up to swindle Wall Street clients.
    “I just want to take care of my grandma, maybe go shopping every once in a while,” one the ‘hustlers’ said at the beginning of the trailer.
    “These Wallstreet guys. You’ve seen what they did to the country? They stole from everybody. Hardworking people lost everything and not one of the douchbags went to jail. The game is rigged and it does not reward people who play by the rules,” another added.
    Others personalities who also starred in the movie are Lili Reinhart, Lizzo Rob, Julia Stiles, and Keke Palmer.
    The flick is inspired by a New York Magazine article called Hustlers at Scores, the movie is directed by Lorene Scafaria. The film is expected to hit theaters from September 13, 2019.
    According to the editorial from which the movie is adapted, the story bothers on “a few strippers who stole from (mostly) the rich, disgusting, and pathetic men and gave to, well, themselves.”
    “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women. We’re grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast,” Scafaria had earlier said during the movie’s filming.

    Eclectic US rapper, Cardi B has taken to social media to disclose that she won’t be going under the knife ever again, .

    TheNewswGuru recalls that back in May, the songstress called off her concerts scheduled for the month in order to recover from her post-baby breast growth and liposuction.

    This occurred because Cardi defied the advice of her doctors who suggested that she takes a break from the music scene to allow for her recuperation from the surgical procedure.

    “Cardi was overzealous in getting back to work. She didn’t take the necessary time to fully recover. Her strenuous schedule took a toll on her body and she was given strict doctor orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May,” her representative revealed in a statement.

    “I hate canceling shows because I love money. I’m a money addict, and I get paid a lot of money for these shows. Like I’m canceling millions of dollars in shows,” the singer had added in an Instagram post addressed to fans.

    “But like, health is wealth, so I have to do what I have to do. My breasts gotta heal, and it is what it is.”

    In a recent tweet, the entertainer noted that her most recent plastic surgery would be her last time going under the knife.

    “I’ve been working out for the past two weeks cause I ain’t getting surgery again. But Let me tell you, I haven’t got a headache ever since,” she wrote on Twitter.
