    Former stripper turned US rapper, Cardi B has admitted that she drugged and robbed men when she worked as a stripper.

    According to her, she did those things to men in the past in order for her to survive.

    An old video of Cardi B recently resurfaced on social media platforms about how she lured men into coming back to hotels with her and then she would drug and steal from them.

    In her reaction, Cardi B took to her Instagram page to explain reason for her actions.

    She expressed regrets for claims she made in the video before her music career began.

    Cardi B said: “So I’m seeing on social media that a live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A video where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to go to make a living.

    “I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world with a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my shit.
    “Im apart of a hip hop culture where you can talk about where you come from talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are. There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive.

    “I never glorified the things I brought up in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it. I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options.

    “ I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not. Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.
    “The men I spoke about in my live were men that I dated that I was involve with men that were conscious willing and aware. I have a past that i can’t change we all do.”

    Everyone is stunned by Lady Gaga’s new found love for Cardi B.

    On Tuesday, the Joanne artiste took to Twitter to defend Cardi B, who has faced backlash ever since her historic win at the 2019 Grammys on Sunday.

    Gaga had shared a photo of the two of them chatting and sharing a laugh at the ceremony and praised the rapper for her craft.

    “It is so hard to be a woman in this industry, what it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi.”

    She continued, “You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”

    In 2016, Cardi tweeted about the Mother Monster’s influence on her. “When I was a teenager lady Gaga changed my life,” she wrote.

    “She inspired me to be myself & be different.” It only took two years, but Gaga replied “Love you girl” to that exact tweet.

    After posting a number of “thank you” videos on Sunday night, Cardi uploaded then deleted an expletive-laden clip defending herself and her hard work on Invasion of Privacy.

    “You know what, it’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else. That’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that, however I’ve been taking a lot of s–t today,” Cardi told the camera. She wore a black sweatshirt and had her hair down in a braid. “I’m seeing a lot of bulls–t today and I saw a lot of s–t last night and I’m sick of this s–t. I work hard for my mother f–king album”

    The stars didn’t disappoint at the biggest night in music as they stormed the red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

    First woman Best Rap Album Award winner, Cardi B graced the carpet in a daring piece of vintage Mugler 1995 Couture.

    The singer had the assistance of five people in holding her shell-like black and pink gown.

    She completed the look with a pile of pearls on her head, neck and waist.

    Born to Win singer, Lady Gaga shined through in a sequined silver dress by Celine, completed with a pair of peep-toe heels.

     

    She won three Grammy Awards, a best pop solo performance for “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?),” best song written for visual media for ” Shallow “.

    She also won best pop duo/group performance for A Star Is Born song.

    Katy Perry was not left out as she dazzled in a petal pink Balmain piece with a bubbly cotton candy skirt and silver bodice.

    The singer and songwriter who is known for her flamboyant fashion statements kept the look simple with a pair of silver chandelier earrings.

     

    Mother of one, Kylie Jenner also made a show stopping display in her fashion-forward pink Balmain jumpsuit with draped sleeves crossing each other to expose a bit of skin around her chest.

    She completed the look with full-length gloves just like her fellow celebrity, Cardi B.

    She was joined on the red carpet by the father of her daughter and boyfriend, Travis Scott who was nominated for three awards.

    Other stars who stunned the red carpet were Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello , Janelle Monae, Anna Kendrick, Jada Smith and Heidi Klum.

     

  • Grammy 2019: Cardi B, Childish Gambino make history

    American music artists Cardi B and Danny Glover aka Childish Gambino snagged historical wins at the 61st Grammy awards on Sunday night.

    The event was hosted by 15-time Grammy Award winner, Alicia Keys who had a blast hosting the highly acclaimed award show.

    Cardi B became the first solo woman ever to win the Best Rap Album Award while Childish Gambino was the first rapper to snag Record of the Year at the Grammys.

    Also speaking of history making, Quincy Jones’ win for Best Music Film was his 28th Grammy, giving him the record for the most of these awards collected by any living artist.

    Lady Gaga earned three Grammy Awards, winning best pop solo performance for “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?),” best song written for visual media for ” Shallow “.

    She also won best pop duo/group performance for the same A Star Is Born song (shared with Bradley Cooper).

    Earlier on Sunday, Ariana Grande claimed a Grammy win in the pop vocal category and Greta Van Fleet nabbed a win in the best rock album category.

    Nigeria’s Seun Kuti was also nominated in the ‘World Music’ category, which he lost to South Africa’s Soweto Gospel Choir.

    She cited popular American rapper, Cardi B who was a former stripper saying despite all that has been said about Cardi B, she is one of the most influential rappers in the world.

    American rapper, Cardi B and her husband seemed to have settled their long time rift and are back together.

    The couple are officially together as Cardi B moved back to their matrimonial home in Atlanta.

    TMZ reports that the reunion didn’t come without some new rules as Offset had to change his phone number which is going to be strictly for business purposes and family.

    Another new rule will be that Offset is going to be staying away from his ‘groupies’ to prove that he is now truly committed to staying faithful to his wife, Cardi B.

    Recall that early November of last year, Cardi B had released a video via her Instagram page to announce to fans that she and her husband were no longer together.

    ”I have been trying to work things out with my baby father and we are really good friends and business partners and we’ve got a lot of love for each other…things haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault. I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I am always going to love him forever because he is my daughter’s father,” the rapper said.

    Controversial American rapper, Cardi B, on Wednesday, shocked her fans when she announced that she is now separated from her husband, Offset.

    Cardi B made the announcement in a video posted on her verified Instagram page. She said, “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for how many now. And we’re really good friends and really good business partners.

    “We’ve got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out for us for a long time. It’s nobody’s fault,” she continues. “I just guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore.”

    The “Bodak Yellow” rapper and Offset worked together on the January 2017 track “Lick,” off Cardi’s Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2. and reportedly started a romance soon after its release.

    The pair secretly married in September 2017, and they welcomed their first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus, in July.

    She ended with, “I’ll always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father,” Cardi says.

    Offset commented on Cardi’s Insta post, confirming their separation. “Y’all won,” he wrote.

    Rapper Cardi B heads to court in N/York over strip club fight

    American Rapper Cardi B was due to appear in New York City criminal court on Monday, facing charges of assault and reckless endangerment in connection with a fight at a strip club.

    The 26-year-old performer, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, surrendered to police in October after being accused of involvement in the Aug. 15 incident at the Angels NYC strip club in the borough of Queens.

    Jeff Kern, a representative for the rapper, told reporters at the time of her arrest, “We’re aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm at the club that night.”

    According to the New York Times, Cardi B accused one of two sisters who tend bar at the club of having an affair with her husband, Offset, who is part of the rap trio Migos.

    Citing police, the newspaper said Cardi B’s bodyguards and members of her entourage attacked the sisters with bottles and chairs.

    Kern and Cardi B’s agents did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

    Joe Tacopina, an attorney representing the two bartenders, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

    Cardi B, a two-time Grammy award nominee, has topped music charts in recent years with hits “Bodak Yellow” and “Girls Like You,” a collaboration with Maroon 5.

    She has also made headlines for an ongoing feud with rapper Nicki Minaj, with whom she had a physical altercation during an event at this year’s New York Fashion Week.

    Celebrity news website TMZ reported on Friday that Minaj hired the two bartenders from Angels NYC to perform alongside her in a music video.

    According to a video she uploaded on Instagram, Cardi B opened up on the psychological issues she has been battling with since giving birth to her four-month-old daughter Kulture .

     

    Cardi B noted that she has been very depressed because she can’t stop losing weight’ after the birth of her baby.

    “’I ve been very depressed because I cannot stop losing weight. And it’s so crazy because when I first gave birth, I did everything to lose my baby weight. I was drinking Teami [tea] so it could curb my appetite and now that I lost all the baby weight…I don’t like looking too skinny.

     

    “I used to look too skinny as a teenager and I used to hate it and I hate it now,’ she said. ‘It’s been really depressing me, making me sad. My weight. You know what I’m saying”.

    Speaking about how motherhood has affected her love life with her husband, rapper Offset, she said:” I haven’t got f***ed in like, two weeks,’ she said. ‘That last week we were supposed to f*** and I got my f***ing period. That s**t was heavy as f**”
