    After months of speculation, female rapper Cardi B revealed to the world during an appearance on Saturday Night Live that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Offset.

    Offset, one of rap trio Migos, who shortly after his fiancee’s television appearance confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram, writing, “We feel so blessed.”

    Less than 24 hours after the baby bump reveal, the female rapper, whose first studio album Invasion of Privacy debuted on Friday, is taking to social media to thank her fans and well-wishers, especially music superstar Rihanna, who had given the expectant mother a shout out after news broke.

    Along with a screen shot of her baby-bumping SNL performance, the chart-topping 25-year-old, wrote on Instagram, “The love I’m receiving is overwhelming! I can’t thank you enough for always finding the time to share your support!! Thank you a million times @badgalriri.”

    The Bronx-born star shared a similar screenshot of the performance, along with 50 Cent’s comment: “This is some fly shit, from the bottom to the top. (Only HipHop) congratulations Cardi B & Offset.”

    Cardi wrote on the screenshot of 50 Cent’s post, “You see @50cent is a nice person. He just be on his bully sometimes!! Thank you.”

    Popular rapper, Cardi B has confirmed she is pregnant. The rising rapper made this known a day after releasing one of the anticipated rap debut albums.

    The talented 25-year-old star showed off an unequivocal baby bump as she appeared on weekly comedy show “Saturday Night Live,” becoming a top trending item on social media.

     

    In a playful confirmation, Cardi B mounted the stage twice on “Saturday Night Live,” first concealing her body with a fulsome feather boa as she performed her breakout single “Bodak Yellow.”

     

     

    When she returned to rap “Be Careful,” a track off her debut album “Invasion of Privacy” that came out Friday, Cardi B donned a body-hugging white dress and smiled knowingly as the lights shone on her bulging belly.

    The rapper is engaged to Offset of rap trio Migos, who shortly after his fiancee’s television appearance confirmed the pregnancy on Instagram, writing, “We feel so blessed.”

    The gossip site TMZ earlier reported that Cardi B is due to give birth in early July.

    Belcalis Almanzar known professionally as Cardi B, is an American rapper. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York City, she first attracted attention for discussing her career as a stripper on social media; coupled with her “no filter attitude”, she became an Internet celebrity through Instagram.

    From 2015 to 2017, she appeared as a regular cast member on the VH1 reality television series Love & Hip Hop: New York. In February 2017, she signed her first major label record deal with Atlantic Records. Her debut single for Atlantic, titled “Bodak Yellow”, reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the second-ever female rapper to do so with a solo output, following Lauryn Hill in 1998. The single was included on her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy

    Cardi B denies pregnancy rumours, says ‘I’m just getting fat’

    Cardi B is setting the record straight — in classic Cardi B blunt fashion.

    The “Bartier Cardi” rapper, 25, shared a video of herself rapping and dancing on Instagram Friday night when someone left a comment asking, “Is there maybe a Kylie Jenner secret that we need to know about lol Just asking.”

    Cardi B responded back, telling the commenter, “no bitch I’m just getting fat. Let me fat in peace.”

    Cardi B – whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar – is engaged to fellow rapper Offset from hip hop trio Migos.

    Offset popped the question to the Grammy nominee at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in October 2017 with a massive eight-carat tear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

    The “Bodak Yellow” rapper opened up about wanting to raise a family when she appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone.

    “I need to make money for my family and my future family,” she said. “I’m not a YOLO person. I think 25 years from now. I think about my future kids, future husband, future house.”

    Cardi B may not be ready to start a family now, but she’s definitely enjoying the perks of her success, which she mentioned in an interview with CR Fashion Book.

    “Well, one positive thing [about fame] is that my family, whatever they want, they get,” she told the magazine in an interview by Zendaya. “Everything that I want to buy, I can get. I don’t have to worry so much about my future.

    Pop stars, Bruno Mars and Cardi B will be performing at the 2018 edition of The Grammies. Cardi B’s breakout song, “Bodak Yellow,” was nominated for two awards: Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. Bruno Mars, is up for six awards, including Album of the Year for 24K Magic.

     

    In the same vein, the Recording Academy revealed that 2018 Grammy nominees Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee, Kesha, and SZA will also join the roster of performers for the epoch making event.Previously announced performers include Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Patti LuPone, P!nk, and Ben Platt.

     

    Another Grammy first-timer, SZA, has five nominations this year: best new artist, best R&B performance (“The Weekend”), best R&B song (“Supermodel”), best urban contemporary album (CTRL), and best rap/sung performance (“Love Galore”) — making her 2018’s most Grammy nominated female with five nods.

    Popular American hip hop star, Cardi B on Thursday commended Nigerian singer ,David Adeleke, ‘Davido’ on his award as best African act at MOBO Awards.

     

    The rapper noted that Davido’s music is amazing.

    Cardi B’s commendation came after Davido shared a picture of both of them at the award ceremony at Leeds, the First Direct Arena.

    Migos stunned many of his fans when he got down on bended knee in front of over 19,000 people and proposed to Cardi B.

    The proposal was done on Friday night at the Philly Powerhouse concert where they were both performers … oh, and she said YES!

     

    Days back, it seemed like the lovebirds were at the brink of breaking up, when Cardi B said she was “single” before backtracking and saying she exaggerated.

    Cardi was seen dancing giddily and smiling from ear to ear as she embraced the rapper shortly after the highly public proposal.
