  • Cee-c pours encomium on Ubi Franklin

The Chief Executive Officer of Made Men Music, Ubi Franklin, has been under intense attack in recent times.

From his former business partner, Iyanya alleging that he(Ubi) cheated him to a lady claiming that the music executive impregnated him, the serial entrepreneur has been under fire.

It was a breath of fresh air when reality TV star, Cee-c rained praises on him recently on Instagram.

The brand influencer and budding actress wrote:” So today, I Just want to send some love my brother’s way , @ubifranklintriplemg thank you for being there from day 1, even when the tide wasn’t in my favour.

“You stuck your neck out for me even when you didn’t have to, and made many things happen for me. I know there is a lot out there right now but I choose to celebrate the good, the good you have shown to me and many others. Thank you, God bless you for me”.

TheNewsGuru recalls that just weeks back, Uti Nwachukwu declared Cee-C as the most successful BBNaija contestant. His statement was greeted with harsh criticisms by Nigerians on social media.

Reacting to the social media attacks, Uti said: “I’m not here to offend anybody. I’m all about peace and love. If anybody was offended, I just need to let them know that there was no harm meant. I made that statement with a free mind. It had nothing to do with anybody. But it apparently made other people feel uncomfortable, and that was why I rephrased the statement.”

  • I didn’t mean any harm by praising Cee-c- Uti Nwachukwu

I didn’t mean any harm by praising Cee-c- Uti Nwachukwu

Nigerian actor, model and media personality, Uti Nwachukwu was in the news earlier in the week when he declared Big Brother Nigeria 2018 contestant, Cee-C, as most successful alumnus of the reality TV show.

The outspoken entertainer was condemned on social media for making such a statement. The pressure made him rephrase the statement, tagging Cee-c ‘one of the’ most successful former housemates of the competition.

Speaking further in a chat with Punch, he said: “I’m not here to offend anybody. I’m all about peace and love. If anybody was offended, I just need to let them know that there was no harm meant. I made that statement with a free mind. It had nothing to do with anybody. But it apparently made other people feel uncomfortable, and that was why I rephrased the statement.”

Asked why most reality TV show stars hardly have successful careers, he said: “I don’t really notice that. But not all the winners want to pursue a life in front of the cameras. And when you’re not doing things in front of the camera, it feels like you’re not doing well. People are doing things in different spheres of life, and it doesn’t mean they are not making headway. Just because one is not successful in front of the camera doesn’t mean one is not doing well.”

  • I don’t have personal issues with Cee-c- Princess BBNaija

Earlier this week, former Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Princess Onyejekwe, recently called out actor and television presenter, Uti Nwachukwu, after he declared Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as Cee-C, the most successful housemate of BBN 2018.

Princess who was dissatisfied by Uti’s statement on Thursday said: “I felt that as a former housemate, he should know better than to make a comparison. It’s just unnecessary.

“Many housemates have gone through a phase of depression, insecurity, anger and regret. They have also moved past it and got stronger. You can’t come and start this unspoken trivia now. It’s not cool.”

Speaking further, the light skinned beauty entrepreneur stated in a chat with Punch that she does not have personal issues with Cee-C

“Different people can read a particular meaning to an issue. What I wrote has nothing to do with Cynthia; it would be different if he (Uti) was not a former housemate.

“If it was a random celebrity talking; I wouldn’t mind because the person hasn’t experienced it.

“For someone that has been to the BBN house to openly put an outright comparison amongst people in the same cadre is not the best choice of words.

“He should have praised her without using words that would make others seem not at par.

“Cynthia is doing great and I am doing great and there is no hate. However, somehow, the whole thing escalated; it has nothing to do with me hating Cynthia’s success; I feel he should have done better.

“Even when Forbes brings out a list of successful people; they rank it in their own established scale and rank their net worth to how much they know about them, it doesn’t mean that some people are not richer than others.

“Hate is not the motive here; I felt he should have known better; it could start a crisis, riots are instigated by what people say.

“It is my opinion. I am saying no one should put a yardstick to success. It is just like putting one religion ahead of another. I feel it is unnecessary.”
