  • I wasn’t in a relationship with Flavour-Chidinma

    Back in December 2015, self-proclaimed Ms Kedike, Chidinma created frenzy on stage when she kissed high-life singer, Flavour at Phynofest concert.

    Social media was awash with different reactions, with many speculating that the duo are in a sizzling romantic relationship.

    Speaking in a recent chat with Punch, the singer debunked speculations about being in a relationship with the Ada crooner.

    Hear her: “I was never signed to Flavour’s record company and I wasn’t in a relationship with him. However, I have been involved in some projects with him because we have a good chemistry. Working with him is fun and less stressful.”

     

    Chidinma who has been linked romantically with Kiss Daniel also didn’t give any definite clue about her alleged romance with him.

    According to her: “I don’t like to speak about my relationship or love life in public. There is nothing to talk about me and Kiss Daniel; people can say anything they want to say. Whether I am in a relationship with him or not, everyone will get to know later. I find it weird that I am always linked to one musician or the other. At times, it takes extra effort for me to convince people that certain reports about me are untrue”.

  • Chidinma keeps mum over romance with Kiss Daniel

    Everyone knows Chidinma for her musical exploits and conquests. However, the winner of Project Fame West Africa Season 3 has always had a question mark on her love life.

     

    She was recently romantically linked with Kiss Daniel after the ‘Woju’ singer posted a video showing Chidinma sitting on a bed playing with her phone and laughing as he filmed her.

    He captioned simply captioned the video with a love emoji.

     

    In a recent chat with Goldmyne TV, the self-proclaimed Miss Kedike refused to declare the true state of her rumoured love affair with Kiss Daniel.

     

    She said: “I will leave that to you to take it as whatever you want”

     

    In the past, the svelte songstress has been romantically linked with Korede Bello, Peeshaun, Dammy Krane, VJ Adams, Tekno and Clarence Peters

     

    When asked why she keeps being linked romantically with male singers, she said:”Someone was saying why does the media keep linking Chidinma to these guys? Is she Miss Nigeria? I can’t state why I am being romantically linked with Nigerian male singers”.

    Soulful singer, Chidinma, has selected a few fans, to an intimate dinner which will be held on Sunday 11th March, 2018 at 7pm.

    At the dinner, her fans will be treated to the rare opportunity of spending quality time with her over a 3-course meal.

     

    The self-proclaimed Ms Kedike will share the inspiration behind her latest release “Love Me” and some of her upcoming projects. She will also answer any questions her fans may have.

    Chidinma is excited to meet with her fans, engage them in conversation and spend the evening with them.

    Chidinma Ekile Hillary is the sixth of seven children born on the 2nd of May. She hails from Imo state in the eastern part of Nigeria. She had been singing in the church choir before she won the third edition of Project Fame in 2010. She started working with Tobechukwu Ejiofor Melvin (ill Bliss) as her manager and she became the first female musician to peak at number 1 on the MTV Base official Naija Top Chart. In 2011, she released her self-titled debut studio album “Chidinma” where she worked with producers like Tha Suspect, Teey Mix, Cobhams, Oscar, and Wiz boy, she eventually met Clarence Peters and got signed to his record label Capital Hill Record.

     

    An ambassador and a contemporary afro pop singer, songwriter, performer, recording artiste, Chidinma has worked with artistes like illbliss, Banky W, Tha Suspect, Wizkid, Flavor, Sound Sultan, Awilo, Toofan just to mention a few.

     

    She won her first award, the Best Female West African Act Category at the 2012 KORA Awards in Ivory Coast and the award plaque was presented to her by Didier Drogba. She performed Kedike at the ceremony. She also performed at the MTN power of 10 concert, a 10 city tour that celebrated MTN Nigeria 10 year anniversary in 2011.

    Petite Nigerian songstress, Chidinma Ekile got people talking when she shared a picture that looks like one from a traditional wedding.

    The ‘Kedike’singer failed to create a caption for the picture which fuelled speculations from fans who taught she had gotten married.

     

    Congratulatory messages started flooding her timeline, with Chidinma failing to address the issue.

    Unknown to many, the pictures were taken at a video shoot for Nigerian rapper, Zoro which featured Chidinma.

     

    The duo were clad in a traditional igbo attire in what appears to be a scene from the music video.

    Zoro, the indigenous rapper wrote on Instagram:” I came, I crushed , we married”

  • ‘Love me’ Chidinma cries out in new song

    Soulful singer Chidinma is back with a new tune titled ‘Love me’.

    In the mid-tempo song, the award winning vocalist professes the depth of her love to “My love and my life and my best friend.” She follows the profession with a request to be loved in return, “Love me like you’ve never loved anyone”, she sings.

    In the poignant melody, Chidinma interchanges English and her native Igbo, to ensure her message is felt and understood.

    Produced by Oscar, Love Me is a mid-tempo song that incorporates contemporary Igbo strings and percussive sounds. It is made for anyone that has ever found love and joy in the eyes of another.

    Nigerian songstress, Chidinma Ekile is one talented song bird whose impact in the Nigerian music industry is evident.Fondly called Ms Kedike, Chidinma’s claim to fame was when she emerged winner of Project Fame West Africa, Season 3.

    Speaking in an interview with Vibes Magazine, the singer opens up on her relationship with highlife singer, Flavour who has been romantically linked with her.

    According to her:” People will think we are dating for a very long time. Trust me, we have such a beautiful chemistry. Our working relationship is awesome. I can tell you that for a fact. It’s so beautiful and it is very stress-less. When we are in the studio, a lot of things happen. A lot of magic happens. We make magic. It’s just natural. I don’t even know where it came from”.

     

    When asked to express her views on domestic violence, she simply said it’s a terrible thing.

    Hear her:”It’s a terrible thing. I don’t wish that for any of my friends or even an enemy. I just hope that some men will be more responsible and learn when to walk away when being tempted to do these things. And also for women… I mean, it’s both sides. I can’t say that men are the cause or women are the cause. We do not know what happens in these families. We’re not there. We do not live with them. Only those involved understand what goes on but we shouldn’t let it get to the point where you need to hit someone. You can never justify that. I’ve seen that happen over and over again. I pray it stops. I just want to urge women to also pray more. We get to avoid these things when we are closer to God.”

    Chidinma inspires youths in Uganda

    Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile was a guest speaker at a three-day visit to Uganda aimed at inspiring young people.

    The petite singer spoke during a youth empowerment seminar which had youths from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Congo and Somalia in attendance. She spoke to the youths on the dangers of drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, rape, and peer pressure.

    Ekile attended the event alongside actor , Emmanuel Ikubese who stars in MTV Shuga.

    Chidinma Ekile, the sixth of seven children, was born in Ketu, Kosofe, Lagos State.Both of her parents are from Imo State. She worked as a business promoter in Lagos prior to auditioning for the third season of Project Fame West Africa. Chidinma started singing at the age of 6, and grew up with a disciplinarian father.When she was 10 years old, she joined her church’s choir. She attended primary and secondary school in Ketu prior to relocating to Ikorodu with her family. Chidinma is currently studying sociology at the University of Lagos.

    Before Chidinma Ekile became a super star, she discovered her music talent in the four walls of the church. The Kedike singer who burst into limelight after emerging winner of Project Fame West Africa, has been urged by fans to consider switching to gospel music.

    The comments were triggered by the videos Chidinma recently posted on her Instagram page, showing her lead a worship song in a concert tagged Maranatha.

    A certain EmmaOjone4 puts it this way:”Chidimma pls pls and pls Gospel music is your calling”

    Another adds:” Chidinma, back to the rugged Cross pleassssssse! Trust me, this is where you belong!”

    “This is what you were born for please do gospel because It fits you and makes your heavenly father happy. I got goose bump when I listened to this. May God show you the path “.
