    Rapture Pastor:Ekiti Magistrate court grants father Abraham bail

    The Chief Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti has granted bail to Pastor Noah Abraham Adelegan of Christ High Commission Ministry, Omuo Oke Ekiti.

    TheNewsGuru.com recalls that father Abraham as he’s fondly called demanded the sum of 310,000 from members for rapture to heaven.

    Father Abraham had camped the members that paid at Omuo-Ekiti for them to wait for rapture.

    Pastor Abraham was arraigned on one count charge of false pretense and intent to defraud.

    The charge reads, “That you Pastor Noah Abraham Adelegan on 27th April, 2022 at Omuo Oke Ekiti in Omuo Magisterial District, did by false pretense and intent to defraud, presented yourself to your congregation at Christ High Commission Ministry, Omuo Oke Ekiti as capable of taking them to heaven before rapture, upon payment of money ranging from N300, 000-N310, 000.”

    According to the Police, the offence contravenes Section 416 of the Criminal law of Ekiti State, 2012.

    After digesting the charge before him, pastor Abraham claimed to understand but pleaded not guilty over the matter.

    Requesting for the bail application, counsel to the defendant, Adunni Olanipekun prayed court to grant his client bail adding that he is ready to provide a reliable surety (ies) and ensure his availability in court until its determination, he said.

    The NewsGuru.com gathered that the Police prosecutor, Inspector Johnson Okunade did not oppose the application but asked the court to exercise its discretion in granting or refusing the bail.

    In his ruling, Magistrate Titilola Olaolorun granted bail to the defendant in the sum N100,000 with two sureties in the like sum, “the sureties must possess Nigerian National Identity Card,” he concluded.

    The matter has been adjourned till 24th May, 2022 for mention.

    Nigerian Pastor charges members 310,000 naira as transportation to heaven

    A Nigerian pastor named Ade Abraham of Christ High Commission Ministry in Kaduna state has allegedly charged his congregation 310,000 naira for transportation to heaven.

    Father Abraham as he’s fondly called also convinced his congregation to relocate with him to a camp in Omuo-Ekiti for preparation for the visit to heaven.

    Findings have shown that members of his church who bought the idea followed him to Omuo -Ekiti state ,whilst some also invited their children who live abroad.

    Father Abraham had told his congregation that they will be raptured from their Omuo-Ekiti camp straight to heaven.

    Meanwhile father Abraham and the congregation are still stuck in their Omuo-Ekiti camp in their quest to fly to heaven.

    Well meaning Nigerians have now called on the Ekiti-state government to take a drastic measure by arresting the pastor and setting free the congregation from their Ekiti camp.
