    Popular comic actor, Ayobami Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba and his wife Ayobami Ayo-Ajewole, have welcomed a new child.

    The excited father via his verified Instagram page on Wednesday announced the good news, sharing a photo of the baby’s hand.

    “A Blessing that cannot be hidden. Thank you Jesus for a glorious addition to the family. A bundle of Prophetic Blessing to my family,” he wrote.

    Following the good news, fans and celebrities flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages.

    Diminutive Nollywood actor, Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, popularly known as Nkubi, and his wife, Vivian, have welcomed their first child together.

    The comic actor took to his instagram page on Saturday to make the announcement.

    Nkubi also shared a video showing his wife’s baby bump on display, with him planting a kiss on her belly.

    He, however, did not disclose the gender of his child.

    Fans and colleagues thronged to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

    It would be recalled   that Nkubi and Vivian tied the nuptial knot in 2021.

    Apart from acting Nkubi is also an OAP with Lagos state media outfit, Wazobia and Cool FM radio stations.

    Comic actor, Mr Ibu goes under the knife

    Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as  Mr Ibu, has undergone five surgeries which were all successful.

    Recall that the legendary thespian, while celebrating his 63rd birthday from the hospital bed, appealed to Nigerians to come to his aid in settling his medical bills.

    Mr Ibu, while appealing for public assistance, stated that he was battling an ailment that may cost him his leg.

    However, in a recent update on his instagram page, the actor said had undergone five surgeries which were all successful.

    Mr Ibu appreciated the general public for their donations as he added that he is counting on them for their prayers and unwavering support.

    Mr Ibu Said “So far, Daddy has gone through 5 successful surgeries, and he is still recovering in the ICU. Daddy is immensely grateful and we are thankful to the general public during this phase of our lives. We appreciate all the donations made to this account, and as soon as Daddy is better he will personally acknowledge all donations respectively!

    “We are still counting on all your prayers and unwavering support as we pray he gets stabilized quickly to enable us to fly him abroad for further advanced treatment… The John Okafor family is grateful to all Nigerians.”

    Video: Comic actor, Mr Ibu down with unknown ailment, seeks for financial help from Nigerians

    Comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, is presently bedridden as a result of a strange ailment that’s threatening his leg.

    Mr Ibu took  to social media on Wednesday afternoon to seek public assistance as he battles an unknown ailment.

    In a clip shared on his Instagram page, the actor said he has been down for so many weeks and has been on admission.

    Speaking about the nature of his ailment, the actor explained that his doctors told him they might resort to cutting off his leg if he exhausted his options.

    Also speaking, his daughter, Jasmine Okafor, stated that Ibu isn’t getting better and has exhausted all his financial resources, hence the public appeal.

    Jasmine urged public spirited individuals to help fly Ibu abroad for better treatment.

    Capturing the video, Ibu wrote: “Dear Good people of Nigeria, we are counting on your support at these points we need it the most.

    Comic  Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as  Mr. Ibu, has relayed his experience during the just concluded electioneering campaigns in the country.

    The Comic actor disclosed that he was “partially involved” in politicking before the 2023 general elections.

    According to Mr. Ibru, thugs manhandled him while campaigning for the candidate of his choice.

    Mr. Ibu made this disclosure while featuring on a popular  program on Vanguard TV.

    Mr. Ibu said: “Nigerian politics [laughs]. Partially, I was involved o. The only thing different is that there were some situations where there was thuggery.

    “Where we went to campaign, I received slaps from people that I don’t even know. But there was so much to slap because it didn’t mean anything to me.

    “I collected like three or four slaps, free, from other boys. ‘Why did you come here? [They asked]Before I answer that question, gbosa! You won’t even like the sound of the slap because the people that are slapping are idiots because their slap is not human,” he recalled.

    Asked why he has been absent in Movies in  recent times, he said that his comeback movie was already in the works, and will hit the screen in a matter of time.

    Comic actor, Hafeez Oyetoro opens up on traumatic robbery experience

    Nollywood actor, Hafeez Oyetoro popularly known as simply Saka has opened up on his traumatic experience after being dispossessed of his belongings and hard-earned money by robbers at his Isheri apartment during the week.

    Oyetoro said that the robbers forced their way into his apartment and stole his belongings but didn’t harm anybody.

    “The robbers came around 2:50 am, and they brought their equipment to cut the burglary proof in the house. They all carried sophisticated guns.

    “They stole a laptop, phones, and little money available in the house. However, they left us alive, and that is very important to me. The only thing affecting me now is the trauma. I don’t like to recall what happened because the more I do that, the more traumatized I feel.”

    Oyetoro insisted that the country isn’t bad but the people governing the country are not doing well at all in many areas including security.

    “I know that Nigeria is a good place if it is led by good people, who have a conscience. If they create an enabling environment for citizens of the country, people will enjoy their lives.

    “It is the people that are managing our affairs that are dangerous, not Nigeria as a country.”

    “People are hungry. There is poverty all over the place, and there are no jobs. Many artisans have abandoned their trade because business is dull. Hungry people will be angry. I believe that many of these crimes are a fallout of bad leadership the country is currently experiencing. I pray we get it right one day.”

    The comic actor further revealed that he would be leaving the apartment where he was robbed because many people now know that he resides there.

    He said, “I am planning to leave that place because many people now know I live there, and that is not good for me as a public figure.”

    Dejo Tunfulu attended a party three days ago – Mr Latin

    Popular Yoruba comic actor, Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as “Dejo Tunfulu” has been confirmed dead, aged 49.

    Bolaji Amusan, National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), confirmed the death on Friday.

    Amusan aka Mr Latin, who was in shock and emotional about the development, said the deceased died on Thursday night.

    He said the sad occurrence was shocking as late Adetokunbo still attended a party three days ago.

    “Yes, we lost Dejo Tunfulu, I am so shocked because he still attended a party three days ago.

    “May God grant him eternal rest, the association will communicate to the public further,” he said.

    Adetokunbo is a prominent Yoruba comic actor, writer, and producer.

    BREAKING: Popular comic actor, Baba Suwe is dead

    Popular Nigerian legendary comic actor, Mr. Babatunde Omidina a.k.a. Baba Suwe is dead.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Baba Suwe died on Monday, according to a statement by one of the children of the legend.

    “This is to announce the sudden death of my father, Mr Babatunde Omidina.

    “Other details will follow shortly,” Adesola Omidina, one of the children of Babasuwe shared via Instagram.

    Born on August 22, 1958 in Inabere Street in Lagos Island where he grew up, the popular comic actor hailed from Ikorodu local government area of Lagos State.

    He had his primary education at Jamaitul Islamial Primary School in Lagos and Children Boarding School, Osogbo before he proceeded to Adekanbi Commercial High School in Mile 12, Lagos state.

    He obtained the West African School Certificate from Ifeoluwa Grammar School in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, southwestern Nigeria.

    Baba Suwe began acting in 1971 but came into limelight after he featured in a movie titled, Omolasan, a film produced by Obalende.

    He became more popular after he featured in Iru Esin, produced by Olaiya Igwe in 1997.

    He had featured and produced several Nigerian movies such as Baba Jaiye jaiye, a movie that featured Funke Akindele and Femi Adebayo, the son of the veteran actor Adebayo Salami.

    TNG reports Baba Suwe died at the age of 63. The cause of his death was yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
