    What I will do if I appear on BBNaija again – Cross reveals

    Cross Okonkwo, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija’s ‘All Stars’ edition, shared his thoughts on the possibility of participating in another season of the reality show.

    He spoke out following the announcement of audition dates by the show’s organizers.

    Having previously competed in the 2021 and 2023 editions, Cross emerged as one of the top 6 finalists in both the Shine Ya Eye and All Stars editions.

    The reality star from Anambra advised prospective contestants for the ninth season to approach the auditions with a mindset of having fun and being open to the possibility of being selected.

    He said:

    “I am lucky enough to have gone there [BBNaija House] twice, not everybody does that. And not just going there twice, coming out finalists twice.”

    “I am not your mate. If I even go the third time, best believe I am gonna make it to the finals. I ain’t your mate.”

    BBNaija All Stars: Cross cruises into final, sets eyes on grand prize

    Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as  Cross,  presently featuring in the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show, has emerged as the first finalist this season and now has his eyes fixed on the grand prize.

    Cross, who is the current Head of House, purchased immunity with Moneypoint coins which is the legal tender in the House, on Sunday.

    He bought Neo and Omashola’s Moneypoint coins for N3m and N1m respectively. Pere and Alex also gave him their coins for free to enable him to purchase the immunity.

    All these means Cross will be immune from possible eviction in week 9 and that automatically makes him a finalist in the current BBNaija All Stars show.

    Meanwhile, Biggie has announced that Moneypoint coins are no longer valid in the House.

    Consequently, housemates who have unused coins would not be able to make purchases with them henceforth.

    Cross, one of the housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show has emerged Head of House (HOH) for week 8.

    Biggie, the Coordinator of the show announced this upon completion of the HOH task on Monday.

    He said Cross had automatically been saved from the week’s eviction with unrestricted access to the HOH luxury lounge.

    Cross who took over the barton of leadership from Sholzy,  however, picked his BFF as Pere, Neoenergy, Adekunle and Whitemoney to spend the time and other benefits in HoH luxury room.

    Recall that the reality show was premiered July 23 and the housemates are contesting for the grand prize of N120 million.

    Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as  Cross, has revealed that he dreamt Biggie brought some of the ex-housemates of the reality show who are not participating in the ongoing all-star edition to join them.

    He made this known during his diary session on Wednesday

    Cross said: “Yesterday, I had a dream. This dream was so real, I felt like it was real. You know that kind of dream that feels really, really real.

    “I dreamt that you [Big Brother] brought back a lot of your siblings [ex-housemates]. Laycon was there [as were] Tacha, Erica, Nengi, Ozo, Miracle, Bisola, Tobi. And the house was so big, like we had up to 150 lockers. It [the house] was so busy. People were unpacking. People were hugging, laughing, and we had like upstairs. Mike was around, Jaypaul. I saw so many housemates.”

    Bubbly BBNaija star, Cross was arrested by South African police earlier today. The reality TV star who is a first time visitor to the country said that he was detained by the police for violating the curfew.

    Taking to his Twitter handle, the reality TV star said that he was unaware of the curfew and when he was questioned by the law enforcement agents he lied that he was a citizen of the country with the name, Siyabonga.

    He further hinted to his teeming fan that he is no longer in the custody of the South African police.

    Cross tweeted, “So SA, I got stopped by your police. Apparently, there’s a curfew. They took me to their office. So guys I tell them say I get SA name called Siyabonga and my first time in SA and they smile and I think they wan let us go ooo Omo Japa Japa. My bed they call me thanks guys we free now.” (sic)

    TheNewsGuru recalls that back in October Cross made headlines when his nude picture leaked online. Speaking about the development, he said he mistakenly shared the photo on his Snapchat account.

    He said, “It was a simple mistake. It wasn’t a big deal. It was like a mistake. As I said earlier, I’m not really back with my phone. Once in a while, I keep using it.

    “So I didn’t know that Snapchat had changed a lot of features. It was a mistake. It was just a mistake of a thing so it just went out quickly. When I noticed it, I quickly deleted it. It was a simple mistake.”

    Uche Maduagwu condemns Cross over viral nude video

    Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu has reacted to the nude video which was inadvertently released by ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Cross, on Snapchat.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Cross on Wednesday erroneously shared a video of him naked on Snapchat which went viral before he deleted it.

    Speaking about the video, Cross said it was just a mistake, adding that he is still getting used to handling his phone and the latest features on Snapchat.

     

    He debunked reports that the video was for a publicity stunt.

    Reacting, Maduagwu, in a post via his Instagram account, condemned the ex-BBN housemate adding that he vomited after watching the nude video.

    Uche wondered the brands that would sign stars whose nudes make it to the internet while referring to Cross’s d**k as “k-shaped tiny sugarcane”.

    “After some girls will be singing somebody’s son should find them one day. He should have just signed up on a porn site.

     

    “I really wonder what brands will sign these BBN housemates after their nudes are everywhere.

    “I actually vomited after seeing his K-shaped tiny sugarcane,” he said.

    Amid husband snatching claims Maria reacts to Cross’ nude video

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike has reacted to the nude video of her colleague Cross making rounds on social media.

    TheNewsGuru reports that the video was uploaded on Snapchat on Monday with the caption: “Showertime.”

    Cross deleted the video a few minutes after it was uploaded. However, it was too late for the reality star as the X-rated clip has already gone viral on social media

    In her reaction, Maria wrote: “Cross please what did they say happened today? We can’t both be canting I take God beg you.”

    Other Big Brother Naija stars such as Pere, Michael and season six winner Whitemoney have also reacted to the video.

    Maria was in the news on Monday, after Cubana Chief Priest accused her of threatening to kill the wife of her lover if she does not leave him alone.

    “These new set of BBNaija celebrities are ready to do anything for Fame and relevance even if it compromises their morals. Cross really fall my hand chai,” a Twitter user wrote, criticising the ex-BBNaija housemate.

    BBNaija: My family was kidnapped, sought asylum to escape death – Cross

    BBNaija 2021 star, Cross has revealed how his family was kidnapped following his father’s demise.

    Cross, during an Instagram live session, said he was kidnapped alongside his mother and siblings and had to seek asylum in the United States to protect themselves.

    The BBNaija star said this while narrating the horrible experience he and his family passed through shortly after his father’s death..

    “After my dad’s death we were kidnapped and they tried to kill my mother so she thought the best situation for us to be safe was to flee and seek asylum in a different country.

    “That exposed me to the ups and downs of life and shaped me to be who I am today but I’ve recovered from the kidnap trauma,” Cross said.

    Cross also noted that the trauma he faced while seeking refuge in a foreign country made him who he is today.

    Cross’s mother is Pastor Uji Grace Okonkwo while his father is the late Ezego of Ihiala.

    “So I had to explain to her little by little how it was and she said it was okay.

    “Last year, when I almost went in, she knew how sad I was when I didn’t go in. So it was a bit easier to convince her, especially because of that.

    “She was a little bit more happy this time that I did go in.

    “Prior to that, she didn’t want me to go in. She didn’t want to believe anything about it but after I explained everything to her, she understood how it was.

    “She was now encouraging me to do what I needed to do. She said that I’m a man and I should follow my dreams, adding that whatever I want to do, I should go ahead and do it.”

    On how supportive his family has been, he said:“I knew that my family would support me, no matter what. My siblings love me. I have unconditional love from my siblings. Whether it’s bad or good, they just find a way to support me and at the end of the day, it’s all about love,” Cross said.

    Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Cross, has averred that he has noticed that Angel preys on people and is very calculative.

    He made this known to Pere and Whitemoney in the early hours of Saturday, day 70 of the show, after the Jacuzzi party.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Cross had earlier said that he didn’t understand Angel’s mood swings but after Whitemoney advised him to love Angel, he decided that he was the wrong person for her.

    In the recent chat, Cross said, “I noticed that she’s the biggest game player in this game.”

    He stated that when Pere and Liquorose told Angel that the latter was strategic, she got nher angry.

    “It hurt her a lot. Besides, everybody has been told that they have a strategy and it doesn’t hurt them,” Cross said.

    Cross also said that Jaypaul had accused him of using a strategy but he laughed it off because he doesn’t care.

    Talking about Angel, Cross noted, “That day, I didn’t really believe it but since that time till two days ago, I was gauging her. I have been looking and watching her. I realised that she’s very sensible.”

    He continued, “By the time I understand everything and get to understand her, I said, ‘No it won’t work.’

    “This girl knows what she’s doing. She’s a smart girl. She knows how to prey on people. She knows the right time to meet a housemate to be friends with her; to be associated with him or her.”

    Pere added, “She’s highly calculative.”

    Speaking further, Cross said, “Yes, very calculative. She knows how to be noticed. She knows when to be your friend and when not to be your friend. She’s very calculative.”
