The only thing Christ punished for being fruitless was a tree – Daddy Freeze to Bishop Oyedepo
Controversial on-air personality, Daddy Freeze has disagreed with Bishop David Oyedepo for the reasons he gave over the dismissal of about 40 pastors from Winners Chapel.
TheNewsGuru recalls that a Winners Pastor, identified as Peter Godwin, alleged that he and 40 other pastors were sacked for underperforming.
Reacting, on Wednesday, Oyedepo said the only criteria for their sack was how many souls they won in the church.
Oyedepo maintained that the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful.
In his reaction, Freeze in a post via his Instagram account, pointed out that the only thing Christ categorized as being unfruitful was a tree.
He wrote, “Matthew 21:19, New International Version.
“Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves.
“Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.”

Nigerian pastors are fraudsters – Samklef declares, reconciles with Daddy Freeze
Nigerian singer cum music producer, Samklef has ended Daddy Freeze his rift with media personality, Daddy Freeze.
TheNewsGuru recalls that in 2018, Samklef and Daddy Freeze disagreed over religion.
Trouble began when Freeze condemned a report about the healing of a mentally challenged man at an RCCG church.
Samklef, who was dissatisfied with his criticism against men of God, slammed Freeze, telling him that his constant attack on the church was getting boring.
The exchange heated up, with Freeze telling Samklef his career was dead which led to the singer calling him a “fake ass oyinbo” and his followers “mumu Satan followers”.
Following the occurrence, they later blocked and unfollowed each other on all their social media platforms.
However, Samklef took to his Instagram account on Sunday to reach out to Daddy Freeze, stating that he can now see “clearly”.
He said most religious leaders are “419” and Freeze was right all along.
“I was blind and ignorant but now I understand and can see clearly.
“Everything Daddy Freeze has been saying is the truth. 90 percent of the so called Nigerian men of God are fraudsters.
“It’s your faith that makes you whole so they collect money for miracles that happens through you.
“Daddy Freeze is the John the baptist of this generation. I can finally see,” he wrote.
In his response, Freeze acknowledged his acceptance and admitted he should have been patient with Samklef at the time.

Uche Elendu condemns court over judgement on Daddy Freeze’s partner
Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has condemned the Nigerian legal system for the ruling in favour of Benedicta Elechi’s ex-husband Paul Odekina after he claimed his ex-wife committed adultery with media personality Daddy Freeze while they were still couples.
Uche shared a video of Afropop singer, Skuki’s opinion on the issue, stating that Elechi had filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic abuse three years before Odekina’s claim of adultery.
“How can the custody of children be given to a man after 9years of filing for a divorce?? What exactly is termed adultery in this case? Women should not be marginalized and subdued to staying in an abusive marriage, 9years on a divorce proceeding is very unrealistic and unfair, the law is not always right, why do men like to punish women in marriage?? Asked Uche.
The actress also reaffirmed her support for Elechi.
“Is 9 years too short a time for a woman to heal and move on with her life?? Is the trauma of domestic abuse not enough?? I stand with @ tastebudzng.. be strong sis!! Healing and moving on to a deserving life is no crime,” she wrote.

Daddy Freeze’s partner opens up on assault by ex-husband, tenders proof
Benedicta Elechi, a chef and partner of Daddy Freeze, has alleged Paul Odekina, her ex-husband assaulted her.
In commemoration of International Womans’ Day (IWD) 2021, she took to her Instagram page to express her thoughts on women’s rights.
Elechi also shared a medical report revealing she was given anti-inflammatory drugs due to an “assault” by Odekina.
“The above named presented to our centre with neck pain, headache, and voice hoarseness. thought to have been due to a scuffle with her ex. The impression made was of stress-induced laryngeal oedema,” the report read.
Elechi wrote: “We live in a country where the rights of women are nonexistent. Today is a day, when women all over the world, come toebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
“We should be observing a moment of silence for the fearless women, who fought to the death for the rights of women and children and raising our glasses to a toast…
“…to all the strong women that have fought and continue to fight for the abolishment of archaic practices and the reformation of laws that have enslaved women for decades in unison.
“But no, as women, living in this part of the world, it will be hypocritical for us to partake in this celebration.
“This day should mark a call to action for accelerating gender parity, gender equality, and reforms that will protect our fundamental rights as women. We owe it to the girl child.”
TheNewsGuru recalls that a high court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers ruled that Freeze should pay N5 million as compensation to Odekina for having an affair with Elechi that birthed Jason, their son, in 2015 while they were married to different partners.

On-Air Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known Daddy Freeze said he will be heading to Court of Appeal after a High Court in Rivers State ordered him to pay N5 million for committing adultery with Benedicta Elechi.
Daddy Freeze who made the reaction to the judgement on his YouTube video on Saturday night, said he wasn’t served any papers by the court and only heard of the ruling.
The popular Nigerian radio broadcaster, however, said he won’t comment on most of the reservations he had with the ruling in avoidance of contempt as the case is still ongoing at the Court of Appeal.

Daddy Freeze in fresh trouble as Court orders him to pay N5m for committing adultery [See evidences]
A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Thursday 18th February, 2021, ordered that Mr Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, should pay N5m for committing adultery with his lover, Benedicta Elechi, with whom he bore a son, Jason, in 2015.
The presiding Judge, Hon Justice Akpughunum in a judgment which lasted more than one hour 3Omin, ruled that Benedicta’s husband proved his case of adultery against Daddy Freeze and Benedicta through photographic, documentary and electronic evidence and also by the admission of Benedicta Elechi herself. The Judge referred to Benedicta as a ‘self-acclaimed adulterer”.
It should be recalled that both Daddy Freeze and Benedicta were married to different spouses at the time of her pregnancy for Jason. Freeze’s marriage to his ex wife, Opeyemi, collapsed in the course of the extramarital affair and the marriage was subsequently dissolved in 2019 by a Lagos High Court.
Early in the extramarital affair, Freeze was alleged to have gone on social media to spread the falsehood that his wife was violent and was often beating him up. The PortHarcourt judgement has now revealed that the theatrics was all part of the crisis he instigated in both his home and the home of his lover Benedicta to justify their unholy relationship.
Other details of the Port Harcourt Judgement are: -Dissolution of Benedicta’s marriage to Paul Odekina based on Paul Odekina’s Cross Petition. Benedicta was unable to prove allegations of abandonment and sexual impropriety against her husband whereas her husband was able to prove his case of adultery against her.
Furthermore, the court dismissed Benedicta’s prayer seeking N1.5m monthly upkeep, one Brand new car every three years, Annual vacation abroad, share in the family estate and many more on the grounds that she did not establish any of her claims.
The court also granted custody of the 3 children from the marriage to her husband, declaring that she was unfit in character and behaviour to bring up children, citing her admission of adultery, her conduct during the trial and her statement that she would not recommend her conduct to her daughters. The court also ordered Benedicta to hand over the children’s birth certificates and international passports to their father, Mr Paul Odekina.
The Judge further ruled that the adopted daughter of the erstwhile couple, who is a biological daughter of Benedicta’s sister is to remain in their joint custody.

Adeboye’s son writes Daddy Freeze, demands apology over verbal attacks
Leke Adeboye, one of the sons of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has told Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze to apologise to his parents.
This is coming after Daddy Freeze, a popular broadcaster apologised to the founder of Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo.
Daddy Freeze tendered the apology after a video showing him insulting Oyedepo two years ago went viral recently.
However, Leke Adeboye said he expected Daddy Freeze to also apologise to his parents – Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Folu.
Leke also threatened to post old videos showing the broadcaster attacking his parents.
“I am still waiting for my apologies o (sic). I am still waiting for Pastor Adeboye and Pastor Folu Adeboye or you want me to go and find the videos?” Leke wrote on Instagram.
Daddy Freeze recently came under attack from several clerics including Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche; the founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, and several others for verbally attacking Oyedepo.

Daddy freeze bows to pressure, apologises to Oyedepo
Popular Broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze, has apologised to the founder of Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, David Oyedepo.
Daddy Freeze, while apologising to Oyedepo, said he insulted the cleric two years ago, adding that the video only went viral recently.
The broadcaster, who is the Convener of the Free the Sheeple Movement and Leader of the Free Nation in Christ, said this in a video on Saturday.
Daddy Freeze had come under fire from several reputable clerics, including Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche; the founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, and several others for verbally attacking Oyedepo.
He said, “My attention has been drawn to a video I released circa two years, seven months ago while addressing some pertinent issues that arose back then. I apologise for the delivery of my message and for any insult to Bishop David Oyedepo in that video as I didn’t in any way intend to dishonour, disrespect or disregard the person of the bishop.
“The perceived intention to the contrary is regretted. My methods of addressing doctrinal issues have long since devolved to a more scriptural and less confrontational approach. I was, and still, very passionate in my quest to address what I believe are unresolved doctrinal issues, however, from a more amiable perspective.”
Daddy Freeze expressed his “firm” belief that for the Christian faith to thrive, believers must collectively be open to adopting theological frames of reference.
He said this could be achieved in love only.
The broadcaster has been known to propagate controversial Christian doctrines which include the non-payment of tithes.
He has been feuding with several popular and influential clerics and described those who demand tithe as thieves.

VIDEO: Another popular pastor comes for Daddy Freeze ‘You are a mad dog’
Another popular pastor, Paul Enenche, has lambasted controversial broadcaster, Daddy Freeze over his attacks on presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo over his stand that women should submit to their husbands in marriage.
In a trending video, the OAP described Bishop David Oyedepo as a “baldheaded fowl.”
Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Christian Centre, in his reaction also described Daddy Freeze as a mad dog who is suffering from bipolar disease.
This is coming following the outburst after Pastor David Ibiyeomie attacked Daddy Freeze for challenging Oyedepo.
The Dunamis pastor was reacting to a trending video where the OAP described Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church as a “baldheaded fowl.”
The clergyman stressed that the OAP has no moral values and respect.
He warned that Daddy Freeze risked the wrath of God if he continues attacking pastors in the country.

According to Enenche: “At this moment, it is imperative for us to address certain issues for the sake of upcoming generations. Otherwise, when evil is allowed to persist, it would be viewed as good.
“The culture of respect is a well-rooted scriptural bible culture.
“In Act 23:5, when Paul the Apostle spoke in a careless way, regarding the high Priest Ananias and his attention was drawn, he immediately withdrew his word and apologised.
“The culture of respect is also a deeply-rooted African culture. So strong that in parts of this country, in the west, children prostrate to greet fathers and elders.
“Yesterday, a man drew my attention from America, regarding a video that was mimicking God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, posted by the MAD DOG called Freeze. MAD DOG emphasized. Someone said, Pastor, why are you calling someone a mad dog, Jesus did that first; he called Herod a wild dog – a fox.
“I said MAD DOG because that is spot diagnoses. Spot diagnoses is a situation whereby you know a sickness by just looking at the patient without even asking any questions. What he is exhibiting is mad behavior.
“That is schizophrenia, schizophreniform behavior. That is mania. That is bipolar disorder. That is attention seeking psychopathic disorder. A man looking for attention by all means, trying to pull down people who have built values over the years.”
Enenche also backed the Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries for calling Daddy Freeze a bastard.
The Dunamis pastor said the OAP deserved to be called a bastard because be behaves like one.
“Someone said they called him a bastard. I believe that the title is not less than what it is, because if that is not the title to be called, when last did you behave like someone who grew in a home? When last did you behave like someone whose father gave him any morals or value? When last did you behave like somebody who knows culture? What did your father teach you growing up? What did you learn as a child?
“And here you are, wifeless, houseless, jobless. You can’t keep a wife, can’t keep a job. Can’t keep nothing and you are speaking about someone who is married for close to 40 solid years.
“When last did a tailor advise a surgeon how to operate? When last did a carpenter tell a Senior Advocate of Nigeria how to stand before the court to defend a case? What do you know about marriage when you can’t keep a home. What do you know about life, success and destiny? Who is a baggage of moral bankruptcy. A baggage of emptiness of character, talking about people who you are a never up to and will never be up to even if they gave you a thousand lifetimes.
“If you are in the same class of architecture with Bishop David Oyedepo, ask yourself, where will your position be? That is if you are able to study such a course. Or you are in mathematics class with Pastor EA Adeboye, ask yourself, where will you be found in a mathematics class where he did a first degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics in Masters. Where will you be? In his PhD in hydro-dynamics with stokes equation – specialty. Have you heard of that before? Or where will you be in our anatomy class, in pharmacology, pharmaco-dynamics, pharmaco kinetics? What do you know about etiopathogenesis of diseases? Have you ever heard of such before? What will be your rating in such classes?
“They are people who would have defeated you from the scratch if you were their age mate. And they will defeat you till tomorrow. Ask yourself this question, how many life times will you need, to be able to employ 35,000 people in your organization? That is what Bishop Oyedepo has done successfully and beyond that. How many life times will you need to be able to run two universities world class? Covenant University is among top 500 universities in the world, it’s number 4 in Africa and number 1 in Nigeria.
“What value have you added? What do you have you to offer, other than to stay on the pulpit and speak of what you know nothing about? I advise you, you are already a cursed man, a cursed man by virtue of bankruptcy of everything around you. But you better repent now, otherwise, Jehovah, whom you have stood against will deal with you and your lineage.
“Let me give you a final counsel, before you talk about married people and people in ministry, go ahead and get yourself a wife, get a family, succeed in the marriage then you have any audacity, temerity or any effrontery to speak further on marriage or on any issue bordering on life and success, otherwise you are a colossal monumental generational waste of existence,” he said.
Enenche also advised Daddy Freeze to start a church and work towards its success since he was so interested in pastoring.
“Secondly, since you are so interested in pastoring and in pastors, get yourself a church started from the scratch, gather a 100 people physically, gather them up to 1,000 and up to 10,000 and when you are through with that, pray for the sick, deliver the oppressed, help their widows and orphans, and then run it successfully, then you have an advice to give to anybody who is in the ministry, otherwise close your irresponsible mouth forever and never to be heard.
“And for everyone who follows gullibly, irresponsible personalities such as this, valueless entities, worthless entities, adding nothing to society, offering nothing. Just don’t waste your life, go face your front and do what you need to do to make a mark in your generation.
“What you attack, you can’t attract, what you hate, you can’t have, what you don’t like, you must lack, don’t waste your life following a vehicle going nowhere. Don’t waste your life listening to a man, who is speaking on something he has no experience about, don’t waste your life. A caution to you.
“When the young men spoke against Elisha and called him a baldheaded man of God, the curse of the Lord overran them. Don’t waste your life. Retrace your step and make amend. In the name of Jesus Christ,” be added.
