  • Your blessing is not connected to your tithe- OAP, Daddy Freeze

Nigerian OAP, Daddy Freeze known for bashing Nigerian pastors has once again said it is wrong for pastors to demand tithes from their church members.

Freeze noted that the men of God only enriched themselves with the sweats of the congregation.

The controversial OAP said blessings are not connected to how much tithe, offering or a pastoral sacrifice one paid.

Freeze made this known via his post on Instagram.According to him:”We have been mis-educated in many ways. If our teachers can admit that they were wrong, why can’t our pastors?

“The greatest blessing to Christianity was the sacrifice Jesus made, when he died on the cross and I don’t remember him charging the Israelites for it.

“Your blessing is not connected to your tithe, or an offering, or a dangerous seed or a pastoral sacrifice etc…. IT IS FREE!

“Let’s remember the woman with the issue of blood who spent all she had on physicians yet Christ healed her for free!”

  • Daddy Freeze slams Nathaniel Bassey over #HalleluyahChallenge

Nigerian on-air personality, Daddy Freeze has slammed the convener of the praise-worship Instagram live session, Nathaniel Bassey .

The controversial broadcaster stated that Bassey is gaining credit for all the good things that has happened during the duration of the Challenge, but hasn’t done anything about the negative that have also happened during this period.

He added that the challenge has become a ‘celebrity screenshot challenge and an unverified testimony challenge’

Hear him:” The #hallelujahchallenge was actually a noble idea that I enjoyed,’ Freeze started, ‘Until it became a celebrity screenshot challenge and an unverified testimony challenge, where God leaves his lofty throne in the heavens, to help Nigerians look for their passports, repair their fridges, and sign their budget.

“I also have a problem with the convener of the challenge laying claim to every good thing that happened while the challenge was on, while ignoring the pastor’s wife who committed suicide and the popular church that had a fire incident during the period the challenge was running”.

However as the Challenge comes to an end,Bassey has urged the participants ,not to pay attention to the critics who condemn the Challenge.

‘You have no right to condemn TB Joshua’ – Freeze blasts Chris Okotie

Senior Pastor of the Household of God Church, Chris Okotie recently described Prophet T.B Joshua as an ‘impostor’ who is being controlled by a ‘malevolent misanthropic spirit’. He made this statement while reacting to the news of T.B Joshua’s planned relocation to Israel.

Speaking on his choice of words, Cool FM OAP Freeze said Okotie has no right to condemn Prophet T B Joshua.

In his words:” In my opinion, Chris Okotie is in no position to condemn prophet Joshua! Also, his choices of words when addressing Prophet Joshua are, by my standards, grossly inappropriate and serve to bescumber his image.

“I don’t have a problem with TB Joshua relocating or staying, as the choice is his to make. My problem is the fact that it was on the verge of becoming a federal government issue, amidst all our other unresolved problems. However, this should not present an opportunity for a pastor to shade another pastor”.

  • Again! OAP Freeze condemns Adeboye

Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the statements made by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of RCCG(Worldwide) when he said: “When God called me into full time ministry, I must tell you the truth, I was afraid because things were rough. I knew poverty when I was young but I became a university teacher with the belief that my days of poverty were gone. When God asked me to leave my job to become a full-time pastor, the total income of the church was less than my salary and we were to share it among some 39 people.”

The outspoken OAP took to his Instagram post to condemn the revered man of God’s statement.

In his words:” What awesome words of wisdom from our dear Daddy G.O. I would see this as a tremendous feat of achievement! When you were a lecturer sir, Nigeria was doing well as a country, producing our own Garri. Today you are richer and your church is richer, while Nigeria is poorer, the majority of your pastors and congregation are still poor and Indians have started producing our Garri! Somebody say hallelu…….y…ah!”
