    Defamation: VeryDarkMan reacts as Davido ‘keeps’ Dammykrane in jail

    Controversial social media critic Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has commented on the ongoing feud between singers Dammy Krane and Davido, which has led to the latter’s arrest.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Davido had recently ordered the arrest of Dammykrane shortly after suing the singer cum ex-convict for defamation.

    This development comes after Dammy Krane took to his X account on July 5, accusing Davido of being involved in the death of his assistant, Tagbo.

    Dammy Krane wrote, “I’m boldly saying @davido has a hand in Tagbo’s death. If I’m lying, they should sue me. Make everything cast for court. I ready help am spread all hin dirty linen for public. Justice for Tagbo.”

    Aside from that, Krane publicly called out Davido, claiming the ‘Feel’ crooner owed him a certain amount of money for a song they did together.

    Unrelenting, Dammykrane further accused Davido of raping a girl in Canada, which eventually led to his arrest by the police.

    Speaking about the situation, VeryDarkMan, via his Instagram page on Wednesday, recounted how someone had told him that a certain celebrity, Dammykrane, was in police custody.

    The controversial critic, who claimed he was going to donate some money to the singer to feed, said that Dammykrane looked skinny and wasn’t well-fed.

    VDM pleaded on Dammy Krane’s behalf with Davido to forgive him for all the things he has said against him.

    VDM noted that Davido is a jolly good fellow who, despite having ‘a lot of power,’ the singer’s not an oppressor.

    He nudged the singer to make peace and withdraw his case against Dammykrane.

    Popular Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has continued to drag his colleague, David Adeleke better known as  Davido over alleged debt despite pleas from Fuji king, KWAM 1, to end his online fight with Davido.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that  K1 De Ultimate during a live performance on his musical tour in the USA, urged both artistes to put their differences aside and embrace peace.

    The fuji king also made it clear that his call for reconciliation is final, invoking prayers for both singers.

    The feud between duo started in 2023 after Dammy Krane called out Davido over alleged debt. Responding, to the allegations, Davido described his Dammy Krane as ungrateful.

    However, reacting to KWAM 1’s appeal, Dammy Krane, via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter promised to embrace peace because of KWAM 1, but insisted that Davido must pay for the song he wrote and royalties.

    He wrote: “SO, @davido set up a meeting with my mum in Yankee lol. I understand all.”

    “I’ll leave the Tagbo matter to God because of good people like family and K1 De Ultimate. But David pay for the song I wrote and royalties.”

    “PS: Evil prevails when good people refuse to talk.”

    Fuji icon, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate has weighed into the ongoing feud between singers Dammy Krane and Davido, calling for peace between them.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that K1 De Ultimate addressed the issue directly during a live performance on his musical tour in the USA,

    He sang, “I want to send a message to my son, Dammy Krane, that I said he should not fight with Davido again.”

    The Fuji icon urged both artistes to put their differences aside and embrace peace.

    “Every dispute and difference between them should end,” he declared.

    K1 De Ultimate made it clear that his call for reconciliation is final, invoking prayers for both singers.

    “I, Wasiu Ayinde, have given this order. I don’t want to hear anything from anyone again. None of you will die,” he added emphatically.

    Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has claimed that fellow colleague Davido’s marriage isn’t worthy of emulation.

    Burna Boy made this statement while responding to a fan who urged him to emulate the embattled singer and get married soon.

    Recall that  Davido is currently embroiled in a child custody battle with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

    The DMW boss had on Friday night called out his baby mama, Sophia, for citing the death of his son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a swimming pool accident at his Lagos mansion, in her counter suit.

    Following his outburst, his colleague, Dammy Krane mocked him, saying he now knows the pain his late friend, Tagbo’s mother felt when his son whom he accused Davido of contributing to his death, died.

    Reacting to Dammy Krane’s mockery,Burna Boy asked the artiste to take the post down but he ignored.

    The Grammy-winning singer then wrote on his X page: “‘Odogwu too wise’ who no hear go feel.”

    Taking to the comment section, an X user with the handle, @BadLieutenant urged Burna Boy to emulate his colleague, Davido by getting married.

    The user wrote, “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”

    Burna Boy replied, “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?”

    Another user @RealDreylo then wrote, “You can’t even answer a question like a reasonable person. LOL. Just big head and plenty beards”

    Burna Boy responded, “Ok. But between me and you, Shey na betta example the guy use?”

    A user, @SunOfOba then asked Burna Boy, “Adekunle Gold na better example?” to which the singer replied, “Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros.”

    Recall that Davido recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Chioma, at a lavish ceremony in Lagos.

    Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has issued a cease and desist letter to his junior colleague, Oyindamola Emmanuel, popularly known as Dummy Krane, for making defamatory statements against him.

    It would be recalled that Dammy Krane via the microblogging platform, X handle, formerly Twitter, called out the singer, after he recently announced his wedding to Chioma Rowland, accusing him of murder.

    Krane’s outburst attracted reactions from fans on social media, prompting Davido to take action.

    In the letter dated June 21st, Davido through his lawyers Chikaosolu Ojukwu, SAN, gave Dammy Krane 24 hours to retract all offensive publications against him on his social media handles.

    He was also asked Dammy Krane to desist from further publication of defamatory statements against Davido on any platform.

    The lawyer warned that failure by Dammy Krane to comply with the demands within the stipulated time frame will compel Davido to pursue all available legal remedies.

    According to him, British rapper, Skepta can be attributed for Portable’s current relevance.

    Portable and Skepta recently collaborated on a song Tony Montana.

    Davido: Portable speaks on collaboration with Dammy Krane

    Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to reports that he collaborated with Dammy Krane to diss Davido.

    There are reports on social media that Portable and Dammy Krane did a collaborative song to diss Davido.

    The controversial artiste has now denied the claims, saying the collaboration was purely a business venture and had no connection to his dispute with Davido.

    The ‘Zazu’ singer added that the song he recorded with Dammy Krane was a prayer song.

    Dammy Krane and Davido are at loggerheads with the former accusing the latter of owing him a large sum for a song he wrote for him.

    Speaking in Pidgin, Portable said, “Dammy Krane sing with me una say we insult Davido. It was strictly business. Music is business.

    “Now, because of say Dammy Krane dey fight with Davido make we no sing together? Uncle Dammy Krane and uncle Davido make una forgive each other.”

    Reacting to the rumours via a video message making the rounds on X, Portable explained that his studio session with Krane was strictly business and had nothing to do with his beef with Davido.

    He explained that his studio collaboration with Dammy Krane was purely a business venture and had no connection to his dispute with Davido.

    The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna has warned Nigerian singer, Dammy krane to leave her out of his fight with fellow singer, Davido.

    The  two artistes have been at loggerheads during the past week after Dammy Krane accused Davido of owing him some money.

    In a bid to call out the father of twins, Dammy Krane, via his Instagram story, chastised Davido for getting angry when a promoter said she did not know him when he (Davido) also claimed not to know Phyna.

    Phyna, who was tagged to the story, commented with laugh emojis which Dammy Krane also posted on his story as well as on X, saying, Phyna sef laugh una idolo matter.”

    Phyna, who was unhappy about getting dragged into the feud, immediately disassociated herself from Dammy Krane, who wanted a form of alliance in his fight with Davido.

    She wrote, “When you Dey chop life you no call me, e don set now you wan drag me enter, I be one man squad, I nor dy gang up. @dammy_krane.”

    Phyna also posted on her Instagram story, warning him to leave her out of the fight, while clarifying she doesn’t know Dammy Krane and the laugh was innocent.

    Nigerian Singer, Oxlade has hailed David Adeleke popularly known as Davido for his kind hearted nature and generosity.

    This is coming following  the controversy surrounding how Dammy Krane accused Davido of being indebted to him.

    Krane, on his Twitter page on Monday, accused Davido of refusing to pay for his songwriting contribution to an earlier released track, even after reaching out to the DMW boss privately.

    In an earlier tweet, the songwriter threatened to call out certain “rich guys” owing him money.

    However, Oxlade has now  openly  testified to  Davido’s exceptional benevolence to him in the past.

    The sensational songbird revealed Davido supported him, especially financially during his early career days.

    In the now-deleted post, Oxlade shared how Davido gave him his first one thousand dollars, adding the music industry so far has been good to him.

    The singer said he can never forget Davido for that.

    The “Ku Lo Sa” singer wrote: “Baddest gave me my first 1k dolls…First time I ever felt that sum in my life… The Whole game has been good to me… So don’t even trip.”

    Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oyindamola Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has cried out over an alleged unpaid debt by his colleague, Davido.

    Krane, on his Twitter page on Monday, accused Davido of refusing to pay for his songwriting contribution to an earlier released track, even after reaching out to the DMW boss privately.

    In an earlier tweet, the songwriter threatened to call out certain “rich guys” owing him money.

    “All my rich guys wey dey owe me money, today na Monday o. Abi make we bring am come ‘The Supreme High Twitter Court’ #Eshe,” he wrote.

    In another tweet, he followed through with his threat and shared a picture of Davido’s 2017 tweet which read, “Shout out to @dammy_krane!! Co-wrote the hook of ‘PERE’ with me!!”

    “My Blooda @davido, run the check. I don reach out to people over the years based on split sheet & outstanding, no response. We no gats dey get this convo here,” Dammy Krane captioned the picture.

    Pere, a single which featured American hip-hop stars, Rea Sremmurd and Young Thug, was released by Davido in 2017.

    In January 2012, at age 20, he signed a record deal with Hypertek Digital and 960 Music Group.

    Krane is known for his melodic voice, engaging lyrics and his exciting genre of African alternative music.

    He has received several nominations, including the Next Rated nomination and won Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2012.

    Krane was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and originates from the Yoruba ethnic group in South-West Nigeria.

    Starting music at age 6, he joined the children’s choir and ministered in various churches.

    The singer went to Providence Heights secondary school, where he was known for being an amazing dancer and performer. After graduating, Dammy Krane concentrated on his music and worked hard at his craft, eventually establishing himself as an act to watch.

    Inspired by artistes like Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Lagbaja, King Sunny Ade, 2face Idibia, D’Banj and Sauce Kid, he started recording songs on his own and performing at various university shows with his ability to merge all genres of music.

    He credits his signing to Hypertek Records to a chance meeting with 2face Idibia at a birthday party. He says 2face Idibia had seen him perform and made the decision to sign him.
