    Okowa condoles Adeboye over son’s death

    Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta has commiserated with the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye over the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

    Okowa’s condolence message was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika on Friday in Asaba.

    He said that the news of the untimely passing of Dare came as a great shock.

    The governor described the incident as “real tragedy’’, and urged the Adeboyes to be strong as no one could question God.

    “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I send my profound condolences to Papa Adeboye and family as well as the RCCG members.

    “The news of the very sad incident came as a terrible shock and has left us bewildered.

    “We send our love and support to his family and the entire RCCG family at this difficult time, and join in supplication to God Almighty for succour to the family.

    “May Dare’s soul rest peacefully in the bosom of our Lord and may He grant fortitude to the loved ones he left behind,’’ Okowa said.

    The senior Pastor of House on the rock church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin on Friday expressed his condolence to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, his family and members of his church over the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

    The 42-year-old Dare was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region 35 (Youth) in Eket, Akwa Ibom State before his death.

    Adefarasin in a statement shared on his Instagram page wrote: “Dear Daddy and Mummy GO, and the entire Family,

    Ifeanyi and I were shocked and deeply saddened to receive the disheartening news of the sudden passing of your precious son, Dare, and we cannot begin to fathom the sense of loss the whole family must be reeling from.

    Nothing in life can prepare us for the sudden transition to glory of a son, especially one so young, so full of life and vigour. He was a beloved son, husband, father, friend, man of faith, brother and so much more.

    No words can possibly convey the depths of our feelings for you but please know that our heartfelt condolences go out to you in this time of bereavement.

    Though we are grappling with and grieved by his sudden departure, we submit to the will of our Sovereign God. We ask Him to comfort you like only He can, console you in the midst of the tears, and give you succour to ease the pain of his passing.

    To his dear wife, Temiloluwa, their beloved children, and the entire family, we pray for God’s peace that passes all understanding to encompass you, His strength to cause you to stand even under the weight of the grief and His grace to cause you to continue to walk in His wisdom, favour and protection.

    We take solace and are immensely comforted by the certainty of knowing that Dare, our brother, has reached the fulfilment of our faith and is now at rest with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

    ‘Pastor D’ as he is fondly called was said to have died while in his sleep, just as the door to his room was reportedly forced open to access his remains.

    Leke Adeboye, son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has condemned those asking insensitive questions about the cause of his brother’s death, Pastor Dare.

    TheNewsGuru had reported exclusively the tragic demise of Pastor Dare Adeboye, who retired to his bedroom, and died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.

    Dare was born on June 9th 1978 and would have clocked 43 next month.

    Leke took to his Instastories to criticize those asking questions about how Pastor Dare died.He advised them instead to ask about how he lived.

    “So my brother died and some people are asking me how he die. You should ask me how did he live and how should you live”? he said.

    Meanwhile, well-meaning Nigerians including the President, Muhammadu Buhari; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; ex-Senate President, Bukola Saraki; amongst others have condoled with the 79-year-old general overseer and his wife over the irreparable loss of their son.

    Popular gospel artiste, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has commiserated with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, on the death of their son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

    Dare, who was 42 before his death on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom was an Assistant Pastor in charge of Youths in Region 35 of RCCG.

    Expressing his heartfelt sympathies, Bassey noted that when they heard about Pastor Dare’s death, they prayed and hoped for a miracle.

    He wrote on his verified Instagram page: “I have held back from sharing this because I still hoped for a miracle. And to think we flew together to Uyo last week, sharing and talking about ministry and the kingdom is most shocking to me.

    “Yesterday we prayed, danced, praised believing & hoping for a miracle because God sure works miracles. But it wasn’t to be. No doubt God is ? able and faithful. Practically seen Him raise the dead lately. And even now I believe He can.
    However, I also know that precious in His sight is the death of His Saints.
    So why we are here sad and mourning, heaven is agog with joy and celebrations at the arrival of a saint.

    “Our brother, and fellow soldier, Pastor Dare Adeboye, is in a far better place. With no bandits, kidnapping, terrorism, corona virus, economic hardship and intrigues. He lived the God-life. And has gone to join the host of heaven cheering us on. For we win. Head or tail.

    Pastors’ Seed Family (PSF), an umbrella body for Pastors’ children in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, has debunked the rumours making the round that Pastor Dare Adeboye’s death was COVID-19 related while requesting that the family be left to mourn in peace.

    In a statement issued Thursday, the body it was without doubt that it was hit by the sad occurrence but will keep steadfastness in God.

    Describing the late son of the General Overseer as one who led effortlessly and fearlessness, the official statement contained: “It is with a deep and heartfelt sense of loss we announce the departure of our beloved son, brother, husband and father, Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye. Who went to be with the Lord on the 4th of May, 2021.

    “His life was well lived as he served the Lord without reserve, giving effortlessly and leading fearlessly. He was crowned by the Lord with blessings of three seeds and a beautiful wife.

    “Though shaken, our anchor remain Jesus Christ in whom we have the assurance that we will one day meet in a place where there is no pain.

    “It is the wish of the family to be left alone at this moment, and we pray the Lord keep you as you honour this humble request. With love from Pastors’ Seed family.”

    Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has sent his condolences to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, over the death of his son, Dare.

    TheNewsGuru (TNG) had exclusively reported that Pastor Dare died in his sleep on Wednesday night at his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

    He was a Youth Provincial Pastor and was described as a miracle child by his father.

    The deceased had ministered the previous day and never complained of any ailment was 42-years old and married with two kids.

    Atiku on his Twitter page prayed for comfort to the Adeboye’s family.

    His tweet read, “My thoughts and prayers are with the family of @PastorEAAdeboye in this trying time. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen him and his family by His mercies and grace.”

    Also, Oby Ezekwesili, a former minister of Education, reacting said the death of Adeboye ‘cuts hard’

    On her Twitter page, she wrote “This cuts hard, Pastor @DareAdeboye . We find comfort in the word of God.

    “Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why.

    “No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.”

    President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

    Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in a statement quoted Buhari to have prayed to God Almighty to grant the departed rest in His everlasting kingdom.

    Leke Adeboye, son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has reacted over the death of his brother, Dare Adeboye.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports exclusively the sudden demise of Pastor Dare Adeboye, who retired to his bedroom, and died in his sleep.

    Dare pastors one of the Akwa Ibom branches of the RCCG and officiated a church programme on Tuesday, before he retired to his bedroom to have a rest.

    Meanwhile, he had asked not to be disturbed after getting home from church, but slept and did not wake up on Wednesday.

    His wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye was the one who noticed her husband’s unusual sleeping hours.

    When she could not reach him on the phone, she raised the alarm and Dare was discovered dead.

    Following the death of Dare, Leke, brother to the deceased, took to social media to express heartfelt shock over the passage of his brother.

    “The righteous man perishes [at the hand of evil], and no one takes it to heart; Faithful and devout men are taken away, while no one understands That the righteous person is taken away [to be spared] from disaster and evil,” a Bible passage shared by Leke reads.

    6.He was the third son of the 79-year-old general overseer of one of the largest churches in the world.

    TNG reports that Dare who pastors one of the Akwa Ibom branch of the church officiated last on Tuesday. He however asked not to be disturbed after getting home from church. He retired to his bedroom, slept but did not wake up on Wednesday.

    According to insider sources who confided in TNG, it was when his wife, Temiloluwa Adeboye noticed her husband’s unusual sleeping hours and could not reach him on phone that she raised the alarm and he was discovered dead.

    TNG gathered that the younger Adeboye was neither sick nor on medication when the tragic incident happened.

    TNG gathered that Dare, whom his dad, Pastor Adeboye last year described as his first miracle child would have been 43 in June.

    The respected clergy while celebrating his son’s birthday said God put the devil to shame 42 years ago when Dare was born.

    He prayed for the celebrant and also prayed that those seeking a miracle from God will receive it.

    His post on Facebook read: “Happy birthday to my son Pst Dee prayers on your 42.

    “Our first miracle child. We pray that God will keep his miraculous working power in your life and all those who needs a miracle today, will use you as a point of contact for their own in JESUS name. (Amen) love from Dad, Mom and the whole Adeboye dynasty.”

    Confirming the sad development, a top shot in the RCCG family said: “Shock. Disbelief. Tears. Thanksgiving. Praise. Total submission to the will of God. Pastor Dare’s death is painful, unexpected but who dares questions God?”.

    Meanwhile, neither Pastor Adeboye’s family nor the RCCG is yet to officially announce the sad passage of Pastor Dare.
