    What was his offense -Actress Destiny Etiko reacts to Onyekere’s death

    Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has taken to social media to mourn the brutal murder of the Managing Director of Fish Magnet Outlet, Ifesinachi Onyekere.

    TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) recalls that the Anambra State Police Command  in a statement on Wednesday said Onyekere, popularly known as Fish Magnet, was killed on July 27, in the Okpuno area of Awka, the state capital.

    According to the police, the deceased was ambushed at his residence in Ezinifite village and shot in the leg before being forcibly taken away by the assailants.

    Describing the incident as a “targeted attack”, the police said that Onyekere’s lifeless body was subsequently discovered, but did not indicate whether it was discovered on the same day or afterwards.

    “Preliminary investigations indicate that the attackers had trailed the victim before striking.

    “His navy blue Toyota Corolla was recovered by a joint team of police officers and Anambra Vigilante Operatives along the Ukwulu/Igbariam road, suggesting a planned getaway route,” the police said.

    Reacting to Onyekere’s death, the 35-year-old via her verified Instagram page, paid emotional tribute to the businessman whilst sharing his photo

    She wrote:“The painful demise of this hardworking & promising young man has kept me dumbstruck @fishmagnett. What was his offense ?Bikonu Because decided to be useful to himself

    “Some people are not human at all. Kidnapping and taking money from him wasn’t enough… must u sniff life out of him

    “Honestly I have been having anxiety since yesterday upon this devastating news

    Pls our government should look into the security of our country. This tragedy is becoming a nightmare to us.

    “We need maximum security in all the states especially in the eastern part of Nigeria. My heart is pained. RIP MY IGBO BROTHER.”

    Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has taken swift legal action against her colleague, Queeneth Hilbert, over defamatory allegations made against her.

    According to reports, Queeneth had accused Destiny of snatching her ex-boyfriend, an Odogwu from Benin who drove a Benz. She also accused Etiko of snatching other colleagues’ benefactors, who allegedly sponsor their lavish lifestyles.

    Queeneth Hilbert made the allegations against Destiny Etiko after she unfollowed her on social media. According to Hilbert, Etiko allegedly relocated from Asaba to Lagos due to concerns about potential backlash from colleagues.

    However, Destiny’s lawyers have filed a petition against Queeneth, demanding a retraction of the defamatory statement on all social media platforms.

    Destiny maintains that the allegations are entirely false and a deliberate attempt to malign and defame her reputation. The petition requires Queeneth to cease and desist from publishing further false and defamatory statements about Destiny, retract the derogatory publication on all social media platforms, and desist from discriminating against Destiny.

    Additionally, she is seeking a N100 million in compensation for the reputational damage caused by the allegations.

    This development comes as a surprise to many in the Nollywood industry, as both actresses have been known to be cordial in the past.

    However, it appears that Destiny is taking a strong stance against what she perceives as malicious and unfounded accusations.

    In a post on Instagram, the actress warn friends and followers not to send her messages celebrating Nigeria’s independence.

    “Please, no matter what you do in life, please dine send me happy independence tomorrow,” a banner posted on her Instagram reads.

    “Pls pls o,” she added in the caption.

    Some of her followers agreed, stating that there is nothing to celebrate.

    Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has denied the rumours alleging that the husband of her senior colleague, Omotola Ekeinde’s husband, Mathew Ekeinde, bought her a new car.

    Reacting, Destiny debunked the report, clarifying that she got everything she ever owned by herself.

    She questioned if men give women money as she made it known that she hasn’t benefitted from any man.

    Destiny said the viral photo of herself and her colleague’s husband was taken four years back, and since then, she hasn’t seen the Captain. 

    According to the curvy actress, the photo was taken after a flight where he was the pilot. She stated that the Captain didn’t even know her and had requested the photo out of respect for her senior colleague.

    She said: “I don’t need anybody to tell me that God has been faithful to me. Something has been happening, and it is really cràzy. I didn’t want to talk about it when I heard some nuisances: people who haven’t been able to feed themselves and are so jealous that they can’t withhold the blessings of God in someone else’s life, and you expect to grow. I didn’t want to talk about this cause I felt it was non-relevant.

    “Does men dey give money? Because if men dey give money, I don’t know o. The last time I checked 99.9 per cent of what I achieved in my life, I did it myself with my full chest. I don’t know why some people are bitter. 

    “You know, I always buy a car most of my birthdays because I like to change cars yearly. Some bitter people are hurt that I bought a car that would shake them; that’s why they brought out an old picture of me with Omotola’s husband that I took over four years ago. 

    “How did it happen? I was on a flight, and he was the pilot, so some people were snapping pictures with me, and he was like, What’s going on there? They told him I was an actress, and he looked at me closely. and I told him we should take a selfie, and he obliged. Nothing was there. We went down and took a selfie, and that was it. From that day till now, where I wan see the man? Wetin concern me”.

    Reacting, the actress questioned the excitement exhibited in young Nigerians over the show despite the economic hardship in the country. She further noted that she’s more concern about the poor masses who are barely surviving.

    She stressed how crime and other vices have become the order of the day yet everyone is calm.

    Actress Destiny Etiko drags colleague, Ruby Orjiakor online over unpaid debt

    Popular and curvy  Nollywood actress and producer, Destiny Etiko has dragged her colleague Ruby Orjiakor online, accusing her of not paying her debt.

    Etiko took to her Facebook page to announce that Orjiakor collected money but refused to carryout the assaignment.

    In the 6-minute clip Destiny accused Ruby of refusing to refund the sum of N700,000 she was paid to star in her movie after the actress failed to show up.

    She explained that instead of Ruby seeking ways to make up for the disappointment, she began issuing threats to physically assault her.

    In reaction to the threat, Destiny Etiko in the video, shared her present location and dared Ruby Orjiakor to turn up.

    Captioning the clip, Destiny wrote: “Ruby Orjiakor or whatever your name is. It’s quite obvious you are looking for someone to trend with Mrs CLOUTINA.”

    Popular media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze, has berated the curvy actress, Destiny Etiko  over her ‘virginity’ interview saga.

    Recall that Etiko had initially slammed Daddy Freeze for meddling in the virginity matter without finding out the truth.

    Etiko while debunking the viral report of her claiming to be a virgin, took a swipe at Daddy Freeze for reacting to the alleged claim on his Instagram live session.

    Reacting to her outburst via a video message shared on his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze wondered why Etiko dragged him in public after apologizing to him in private.

    Freeze blamed the actress for not having a strong Public Relations team to debunk the viral report on time.

    He added that he did not tarnish Etiko’s image in his reaction to the alleged claim, wondering when virginity turned to insult.

    Daddy Freeze said, “I don’t know that virgin has turned to insult. She never granted the interview, nor did she debunk it. In no way did I insult or diminish her brand. Let me warn you, do you know those who want to pay to be in my live and the calibre of people in my live? I quit the radio to do this cause it pays more, and it is more fulfilling.

    “I spoke to her through Soso Soberekon and she apologized. Why would you apologize to me in private and insult me in public?”

    The beautiful curvy actress made this known in a recent interview with OAK TV.

    According to the 33-year-old thespian, she is celibate because of her crippling social anxiety.

    She said she hasn’t been in a relationship that got to the level of sexual intimacy.

    “I’m still a virgin because of my crippling social anxiety. I still have not been in a relationship that has gone to that level,” Etiko said when asked about her body count.

    Her revelation has left many bewildered online with some fans expressing their shock.
