Don Jazzy, Mavin Records CEO, says he would be doing less of music production to focus on expanding his empire. The music producer who has been instrumental to the success of several music talents revealed that he won’t keep producing music till he passes on.
He made this known at a recent media parley.
Hear him: “I am very busy; I have a lot of things that I am taking care of.
At the same time, I am trying as much as possible to expand my empire I am not going to keep producing from now till I die .I am getting old, the young ones need to take over from me at some point. People need to get used to the idea that I won’t be producing all the tracks”.
Nigerian music tycoon, Don Jazzy was in the eye of the storm recently when a certain lady accused him of body-shaming her over a post he shared on social media.
The revered music producer shared a photo collage involving for women. Each woman was graded with a certain percentage, based on their looks. The photo had a caption saying “Your battery level is your bae” . Don Jazzy chose the last woman, Rihanna, with 76% – 100% battery life.
A certain Twitter user whose picture was featured in the photo collage was graded 1% – 25% . She told Don Jazzy it was offensive and synonymous to body-shaming.
