    Why I can’t date, marry Prince – ex-BBNaija housemate Dorathy

    Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Dorathy Bachor has stated why she would not date or marry fellow ex-housemate, Prince.

    Dorathy made this known during a question and answer session with her fans on her verified Instagram handle when she was asked why she and Prince were not in a relationship.

    The reality TV star said that it would be incestuous to date Prince because he is like a brother to her, hence there can not be any form of intimacy between them.

    She responded, “I cannot marry Prince. It is forbidden for me to marry my brother.”

    While on BBNaija, Lockdown edition, Dorathy and Prince were seen to enjoy each other’s company and have also admitted to liking one other considering how close they were while on the show.

    It was later revealed during the reunion show that Dorathy had another love interest in the house, Brighto.

    The first runner-up of Big Brother Lockdown edition, Dorathy Bachor, has rcecounted that she battled with anxiety after the show.

    Bachor made this known via her verified Instagram on Monday, as she celebrated herself one year after she left BBNaija season five.

     

    Bachor said she battled with fear and anxiety but was able to survive through God’s grace.

    She wrote, “One year ago today, I stood on that stage blank not knowing what the world thought about me.
    Not sure of what to even do next, I remember sharing the price money in my head. Lol

    “It’s been the most crazy 365 days of my entire life. I have battled with fear, anxiety and so many emotions but guess what Grace always finds me because I am a Child of Grace.

    “I’m so grateful for My family, friends and everyone that has come through for me, supported my brands and all the brands that have brought me on board. Thank you.

    “Special thanks to my exploras @dexploras_fanpage for always pushing me and cheering me at every stage of this journey, I love you forever my Ndi Globe.

    “Forever grateful to the biggest platform in Africa @bigbronaija @dstvnigeria @multichoice_group. This is only the beginning.” (sic)

    EFCC officials met me near naked at home -Dorathy Bachor

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday morning broke into former BBNaija housemate, Dorathy Bachor’s apartment.

    Dorathy revealed this on her Instagram story as she lamented over the sad incident.

    Recounting the incident, Dorathy expressed frustration at how unsafe it is to be a Nigerian.

    On her Instagram story, she said: “I feel like my head is about to explode.

     

    “At 4:45 I heard a loud sound and voices followed, I rushed out almost naked to see five fully armed EFCC men in my living room and one of them saying ‘Oh na that Big brother girl be this’.

    “In my confused state I was trying to understand why they broke down my door. Then one of them said they were looking for someone who ran into the estate and I should lock my door and stay indoors and not say a word.

    “I’m shaking at this point and so confused because at what point is this Okay.

    “What is the need of being a citizen of this country when I can’t feel safe in my own house.”

    Big Brother Naija ex-housemates, Prince and Dorathy surprised many when they revealed why ‘Shineyaeye’ housemate, Jaypaul was turned back 45 minutes from joining last year’s lockdown edition.

    Recall that Jay Paul had revealed he was supposed to be among ‘Lockdown’ housemates.

    Speaking to the ‘Shine ya eye housemate, the Cross River born had said he was turned back 45mins from climbing the stage.

    The housemate, who did not reveal details of the incident, said he was sure his bags had entered the house but found himself going back to the hotel.

    He added that it was a tough time for him but his family helped him pull through.

    However, Prince and Dorathy in a live video with Kiddwaya on Instagram on Friday revealed that Jaypaul was turned back because he had the deadly COVID-19 disease.

    Prince said Jaypaul was replaced by the ‘lockdown housemate, Trickytee.

    Dorathy said, “Jaypaul is the guy that was turned back few minutes to the live show. I think the reason was because he had COVID-19.

    Prince added, “Yeah, he was replaced with Trickytee.”

    Surprised by the revelation, Kiddwaya wondered if the ‘lockdown’ housemates would have all been infected with the disease if it was not detected before the show began.

    The first runner-up of the television reality show, Big Brother Naija (Lockdown Edition), Dorathy Bachor has said she was shocked when she got 25 years shoes on her birthday.

    In a recent interview, she noted that she has never celebrated her birthday.

    According to her: “I have never been surprised and I have never celebrated my birthday. This was my first. In the past, I just hung out with my friends and had lunch. This was the first time I would have a party where there would be more than 10 people gathered. It was so beautiful and I don’t have the right words to describe how I feel. It was everything I had ever imagined and I felt so blessed. I did not expect the car at all. 2020 has been a handful and people are still struggling from the effects of the pandemic. People have not really made as much money as they would have liked. Then, they had already spent quite much voting every week during the reality show to keep their favourite housemates in the house.

    “I didn’t know they were planning anything for me. I was only going to host my friends in a club somewhere on Victoria Island, Lagos, but my management kept telling me to fix my party for the evening so my afternoon would be free. The night before, Prince (a former BBNaija housemate) called me and said he wanted to take me out to lunch. He picked me up and took me straight to the planned venue. All my close friends were there and it was really a beautiful surprise”, she told Punch.

    The duo of Laycon and Erica are in the news again after the latter appeared to have ignored the former at a birthday party organized for Dorathy, their teammate.

    TheNewsGuru recalls that Dorathy celebrated her 25th birthday in Lagos on Wednesday.

    The event was graced by friends and well-wishers including former housemates of the ‘Lockdown’ house.

    TheNewsGuru gathered that there was a mild drama when Erica entered the event venue with fans cheering her.

    The actress had proceeded to where Dorathy was seated and keenly embraced her while waving to others gathered at the event.

    However in a short video from the event now making the rounds on social media, Erica appeared to have ignored Laycon, who was sitting close to Dorathy while the singer looked steadily at her with a smile.

    The occurence had since reignited the disagreements between fans of the duo after their face-off during the reality TV show that resulted in the ultimate disqualification of Erica.

    A myriad of Nigerians have since taken to social media to air their views on the matter.

    Dorathy Bachor, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija received a Mercedes Benz car gift to mark her birthday.

    The busty reality TV star was gifted the car by her fans who joined her to celebrate her birthday.

    A visibly surprised Dorathy couldn’t hide her joy as she was presented with the keys and documents of the car.

    Dorathy’s car gift is a 2016 Mercedes Benz CLA 250 which according to cars website, kkb.com goes for about $30,000 (N11M).

    The reality TV star joins the list of celebrities’ especially former housemates of Big Brother Naija who have been gifted with cars on their birthdays.

    Dorathy turned 25 on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, and she released some stunning photos to mark the special day.

    When BBNaija 2020 first runner up, Dorathy Bachor stepped into the house, she immediately trended on twitter for her huge boobs.

    Since then, fans always look forward to the Saturday Night parties where she wears clothes that accentuate her boob.

    Asked if she deliberately exposes her breast, Bachor said: “If you know me before the house, that is just how I am and Saturday Night party, let’s blame it on the designers, who brought in those clothes. It wasn’t deliberate, it was either the designer or I added weight because at some point, I kept eating and you know what free food does. I kept eating, and the clothes were shrinking and it wasn’t deliberate” in a chat with The Nation.

    For so many, one of the highpoints of Dorathy’s stay in her 70-days duration in the house was her response to her appointment as the Deputy Head of House. She said the statement, “I accept it with my full chest,” came from a happy place.

    “I swear, I did not even think about it, I just said it, I don’t even know where it came from. Sometimes, I just say things and wonder why did I even say it, it’s not something I prepared for, I just felt very happy and everybody knew what it felt like being nominated and you have to wait for the bottom four for them to call the final four, I feel it came from a happy place, I just expressed myself and that came out,” Dorathy noted.
