    Copa America: Argentina mock Canadian rapper Drake for betting against them

    Argentina have continued to mock Canadian rapper, Drake after losing  a whooping  $300,000 bet on Wednesday morning.

    Drake had placed a bet on the Copa America semi-final clash between his country, and Argentina.

    The Hip Hop star would have won a large sum of $2.8million if Canada had won the semi-final clash against Argentina on Tuesday.

    However, goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi secured  a 2-0 victory for Albiceleste.

    In a post on social media after the game, Argentina made reference to Kendrick Lamar’s iconic diss track ‘Not Like Us’ targeted at Drake.

    The official AFA account posted a picture of Messi and his Argentina team-mates celebrating with the caption: “Not like us, not with us.”

    After dishing out  diss song at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada popular American rapper Rick Ross was attacked

    The artiste was reportedly accosted for playing Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’, a track directed at a Canadian singer. Drake, to wrap up his performance.

    The men, according to TMZ, were said to have been 15 in number, fighting the US singer and his crew immediately they left the stage.

    Ross was punched in the face and body after the attack that initially started off as a verbal altercation, escalated into a violent one

    It remains unknown if anyone was injured or arrested by the authorities.

    Recall that Ross, in May 2024, expressed support for Kendrick Lamar during his rift with Drake. After which, Drake took a swipe at him in the track ‘Push Ups’.

    Rick Ross also clapped back at Drake in his track titled ‘Champagne Moments’.

    Canadian rapper, Drake, has lost $565,000 after betting on Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk.

    It is yet another big-money gambling loss for Drake.

    Before the fight, Drake revealed on Instagram that he had gambled $565,000 on Fury to win.

    If Fury had won, he would have collected just over $1million.

    But Usyk beat Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia to become the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in 24 years.

    Usyk has now added Fury’s WBC title to his own WBA, IBF and WBO belts.

    Drake previously lost a six-figure sum after Anthony Joshua’s knockout win over Francis Ngannou, and another $700,000 after Dricus Du Plessis beat Sean Strickland at UFC 297.

    One severely injured as police confirm shooting outside rapper Drake’s Canada mansion

    The Police in Canada have confirmed  an overnight shooting right in front of Drake’s Toronto mansion.

    The OVO boss’ mansion was cordoned off by police on Tuesday after a shooting near his property left one person seriously injured after getting shot in the chest.

    However, Police confirmed that the victim is not Drake and has been taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, according to Toronto’s City News.

    On X, Toronto police said they received reports of a shooting at around 2:09 a.m. ET in the city’s upscale Bridle Path neighbourhood.

    The suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle, but no descriptions of either the person or the car were provided as of now.

    But reports say that further Investigation and probe is underway to unravel the mystery behind the shooting.

    Investigation and further probe in underway, according to reports.

    While the motive of the shooting is unclear, it comes amidst the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have been releasing new diss tracks on a daily basis.

    Popular Canadian rapper, Drake has vowed to give up on music if anyone can prove he has a secret daughter.

    Drake’s rival, Kendrick Lamar had alleged in his diss track, ‘Meet The Grahams,’ that Drizzy has an 11-year-old secret daughter.

    He called the Canadian “deadbeat” for not being present in the life of his “hidden daughter.”

    Popular American media personality, Akademiks, said Drake debunked the allegations in a conversation with him, vowing to quit music and come work for him if anyone can prove he has a secret daughter.

    Speaking on his show on Saturday night, Akademiks said: “Drake hit [texted] me, he said, ‘Ak, if you or anybody can prove that I have an 11-year-old daughter, I’ll quit rapping and come work for you.”

    Canadian rapper, Drake will be dragged to court by the estate of American hip-hop legend 2Pac for his involvement in  a recent diss track against Kendrick Lamar that featured an AI-generated version of the late rapper’s voice.

    Recall that on Wednesday, Drake was served a cease-and-desist letter by the litigator asking him to pull down the diss track in less than 24 hours or the estate would “pursue all of its legal remedies” against him.

    “Not only is the record a flagrant violation of 2Pac’s publicity and the estate’s legal rights, it is also a blatant abuse of the legacy of one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time,” the letter partly reads.

    “The unauthorized, equally dismaying use of 2Pac’s voice against Kendrick Lamar, a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to 2Pac and his legacy publicly and privately, compounds the insult.”

    Drake released ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’ on Friday, and featured AI-generated versions of the late 2Pac, and Snoop Dogg’ voices.

    2Pac’s estate has now made it clear that it “would never have given its approval for this use” if Drake had asked for permission.

    Popular American rapper, Kanye West has revealed that his fellow artiste, Drake signed his soul to “the devil”.

    According to Kanye, their fallout was because the Canadian rapper signed to the devil and began going against God which he (Kanye) represents.

    Kanye West, who recently hopped on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That’ remix, said he lent his vocals to the song because he was “excited” about the “elimination” of Drake from the hip-hop industry.

    West while speaking on the latest episode of ‘The Download’ podcast, West said, “It’s like he [Drake] signed his soul to the devil to not be cool with me. This is his job, to go against God.

    “Pluto [Future] called me, I went to the studio and laid that [my verse on the remix]. Everybody was very, very excited about the elimination of Drake. Not excited — we was energized.”

    He claimed that Drake has a “rich baby daddy” in the person of the CEO of Universal Music, Lucian Grainge who influenced his commercial success.

    “Drake has a rich baby daddy, named Lucian [Grainge] and Universal. He’s like, my daddy control the spins, my daddy got the DSPs,” West said.

    The debate about who’s the best rapper intensified after Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and J.Cole in a new song.

    Kanye West asserted that he’s a superior rapper compared to both Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

    On his Instagram page, he wrote:

    “Everyone knows I washed Kendrick [Lamar] on No More Parties in LA. Everyone knows I washed Drake at the Free Hoover Concert.”

    “I am the only person to come back to number one after cancellation. There is only one goat, I stand by me. My friends call me Ye.”

    American rapper Kendrick Lamar has knocked his colleagues, Drake and J.Cole in a new song by Future and Metro Boomin which featured him.

    Rendering his lines, Lamar took a swipe at Drake and J.Cole who recently collaborated on a song titled ‘First Person Shooter’.

    In his lines, Lamar accused both Drake and J.Cole of being overrated saying that the assumption by people categorizing  three of them as the biggest rappers in America as untrue.

    His lines reads; “F*ck sneak dissing, first person shooter I hope they came with 3 switches….mother f*ck the big 3 n***a it’s just big me,” he raps.

    Kendrick Lamar’s diss has sent social media agog, with many hip-hop fans commenting on the brewing beef among the ‘big 3s’.

    Rapper Drake loses $615,000 bet on Joshua vs Ngannou fight

    Canadian International rapper, Drake, has lost a massive 600,000 dollars bet after Anthony Joshua knocked out Francis Ngannou in their much-hyped heavyweight showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

    Anthony Joshua secured a brutal knockout (KO) against Francis Ngannou in the second round of  the ‘Knockout Chaos’ clash on Friday night.

    The superstar recording artiste, known for placing massive bets on sporting events, posted earlier on Instagram that he was betting $615,000 on Ngannou to beat Joshua outright.

    “Betting on a scary man,” Drake said.

    Drake joined several fans of combat sports to believe that Ngannou could get the job done against Joshua, and if the bet had clicked, it would have paid out $1.9million .

    Although Drake has recorded some big wins and losses in betting, he has gained notoriety with the “the Drake Curse”, assertion by fans accusing him of ‘cursing’ athletes and teams after being pictured with them.

    The ‘curse’ has affected numerous victims such as quarterback Johny Manziel,UFC fighter  Kamaru Usman, Tennis star Serena Williams,  and even the entire Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team in the United States.

    In January, the rapper  lost over half-a-million pounds when he incorrectly backed Sean Strickland to defend his UFC middleweight championship against Dricus Du Plessis.

    One of Drake’s biggest bets in 2023   was on YouTube boxer,  Logan Paul to knocout Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis in their Misfits Boxing fight.

    The rapper won $1.3million after Danis was disqualified in the final round for trying to choke Paul unconscious, prompting a massive brawl to break out in the ring.

    Earlier before that fight, Drake missed out on a $920,000 payout after Nigerian born Israel Adesanya lost his UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland.

    Drake was routing for Adesanya to knockout Strickland in their world title clash, but Strickland produced a massive upset to win on points.
