  • A lot of people called to know If I got married to Empress Njamah- Daniel Lloyd

A lot of people called to know If I got married to Empress Njamah- Daniel Lloyd

Handsome Nollywood actor,Daniel Lloyd has reacted over speculations hinting that he got married to actress, Empress Njamah.

The speculations started when a picture taken from a movie set where he got married to Empress, was posted online and went viral.

In an encounter with Punch, the actor debunked the claims.

““I recently did a movie where I was married to Empress Njamah; that was the role that made people thought I got married to her. It was such that people called me from all over the world to ask about it. It was just a movie but people took it out of context. If you google my name right now, that is the first story you will see about me. I posted a video a few days after the rumour went viral to clear the air that it was a movie; some people believed but others were still doubtful. There is not much you can do when their mind is already made up.

“When the news went viral, it was funny to me initially but later it was annoying. Even my uncle had to call me to confirm if the news was true. Timaya called me on the phone that same day (to confirm if it was true). He said he was sleeping when people called him, so he asked if it was real or fake. He laughed about it. Initially, it was a prank; it was more like going with the flow thinking everyone would know it’s a movie. In less than one hour, my phone battery ran out about three times. People that knew me were aware it was a movie.

“If I get married today, the world would know I am married. There was a lady I met at the airport, and she told me congratulations on my wedding; I had to tell her it was a movie. I still get such vibes,” he said.

  • Why I withdrew my car gift from Empress- Timaya

Bayelsa State-born music artiste, Timaya and actress Empress Njamah were talk of the town on account of the love they presumably had for each other. Then, Timaya and Empress were so smitten, it was as if they could do no wrong.

The harmony in their love song left and the love they once professed for each other could not be found.
At that time nine years ago, Timaya withdrew the car gift he gave Empress when they broke up.

In a new interview, Timaya has revealed why he withdrew the car gift from her.
“Before we broke up, she wanted me to get her a Murano…I gave her money to get [that] car. Then, a girl bought me a Honda Pilot for my birthday, just a fan. No string attached yet. I didn’t want it, but one of my boys was like, ‘it’s a gift’, and I was like, ‘ok.’[Empress] took the car and was driving it, but she didn’t know it was a gift. Then, we broke up.”

However, following the public outrage that was sparked by her comment, the actress has debunked the claim.

Speaking with Goldmyne TV, she said:”You do not choose who you love. If I begin to tell you, that means I have a target for a particular age. It’s a question that no one can answer, if you answer it, that means that is your target. That is how it should be, you should be open minded”.

  • I get angry when younger men woo me-Empress Njamah

Curvy Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah is one role interpreter who continues to gain male attention despite being an eligible spinster. The actress noted that most men in their twenties have the impression that she is younger, adding that If they know her actual age, they wont show interest in her.

She made this known in an interview with Punch:“ A lot of men in their twenties say they admire me and want to date me. I am sure most of them think I am really young. Sometimes, I find it annoying because if they know my actual age, they wouldn’t come close or show interest in me.

“When people say I look like a lady in her twenties, I just smile. I am actually in my thirties. When people ask me what I do to look the way I do, I struggle to give an answer. I guess it is just the grace of God because I don’t do anything special.”

  • Juliet Ibrahim slams Empress Njamah over domestic violence opinion

Juliet Ibrahim slams Empress Njamah over domestic violence opinion

Actress Empress Njamah has stated that women should take part of the blame when it comes to the cases of domestic violence prevalent in our society. She made this known in an interview with Broadway Africa TV. However, Ghanaian actress Juliet has condemned Njamah for saying women should be blamed for domestic violence cases.

She wrote on Instagram:”When it comes barking up your own tree or in your family; please preach your wisdom that time. When people decide to sit and form advisers they should think twice before talking honestly. What’s the meaning of “a man hits a woman it’s called domestic violence and when a woman hits a man it’s called what?” MADAM, it’s the same domestic violence either ways and what we have been preaching since day one is the fact that no one should get to the point of hitting another being in the name of anger or rage! Violence is WRONG! There is no excuse! Violence should NEVER EVER BE THE OPTION OR CHOICE!!! There is NO REASON IN THE WORLD FOR A MAN OR WOMAN TO GET PHYSICAL ON ANOTHER person!

“Domestic Violence which is an abuse comes in several forms could be emotional or physical as well; sadly we do NOT SEE THE EMOTIONAL ABUSE ON MOST; what most people are preaching against lately is the fact that people can’t SEEM TO CONTROL ANGER AND GET OUT OF VIOLENT RELATIONSHIPS! No one is sitting around happy about victims ( both male and female) being attacked and killed brutally ; what we are standing firm against is the fact that We as humans need to see the signs and exit the relationship immediately we notice the signs or speak to the rightful authorities before it is Too Late! How dare you try to justify why another person will get physically violent on another till it leads to death or getting burnt! Are you even aware that RAPE IS also a form of violence? Would you sit in your seat and preach that ladies that get raped are the ones bringing it upon themselves? Is that your mindset? YOU WOULD BLAME A LADY FOR GETTING RAPED? Shouldn’t you be preaching against rape and violence in general rather than justifying the Act? Haven’t you seen photos of women who were murdered after being raped? Is it the woman’s fault that some guy couldn’t control his urge???? Would you also sit and advise that every one should pick up guns and go to war because they were offended by another country??? #sayNotodomesticviolence against women or men! We preach against it! VIOLENCE SHOULD NEVER BE THE END RESULT!”

‘Women are to be blamed for domestic violence’- Empress Njamah

Following the spate of domestic violence in recent times, Actress Empress Njamah has stated that women should take part of the blame when it comes to the cases of domestic violence prevalent in our society

In an interview with Broadway Africa TV, the curvy actress said the women torment men mentally at times and they need to help men manage their anger

Hear her:” I would say this, we are talking about domestic violence. And this is very serious .A man hits a woman it is called domestic violence but a woman hits a man what is it called? No seriously, I love this topic ..We are always talking about domestic violence and then it is all about the woman. There are men who are more beaten up emotionally than the women they beat up physically. Some women are headstrong and can traumatize their men mentally that they don’t know when they hit in anger”.

Being famous is not stopping me from getting married – Empress Njamah

Empress Njamah is one curvy actress who once ruled Nollywood years back. Though she hasn’t been acting for a while, but the beautiful fashionista has put all of her attention on her humanitarian works. Empress who has been romantically linked with Timaya, believes that being famous hasn’t stopped her from getting married.

According to her:” Being a celebrity has nothing to do with it. It could happen to anyone; there are some people who won’t get married and there are some who want to get married and it is not forthcoming. And there are some who are taking their time not to jump in. Eventually it will happen; there is not date that is written that you have to get married. If I haven’t gotten married, there are obviously reasons why I haven’t. And I don’t see that as a crime or problem. When the time comes, it is obvious that people will know and celebrate with you genuinely. If you see the right man and match, why not, Let’s not make this thing a point of a big deal; I don’t know” she reveals
