    Nigerian rapper , Erigga has advised men recently on social media to focus on money first before pursuing romantic relationships.

    The Warri-born rapper, via his X, page urge men to channel their energy towards financial stability before pursuing women.

    Erigga pointed out the reality that many women being pursued by men today may ultimately end up with those who are ambitious and working towards their future goals.

    He advise against prioritising relationships without first securing a stable financial foundation.

    He said:

    “The women you are chasing now belongs to men who are chasing their future now.”

    Nigerian rapper, Erigga has said when he dies, nobody should take a peek at his dead body in the coffin.

    He explained on his X account that his shyness might cause him to laugh, revealing his rationale behind this decision.

    He said: “My own is that, when I die nobody should come and look at me inside the coffin l’m a very shy person, I might laugh.”

    Erigga had a few days ago advised men on how they should deal with a partner who cheats on them.

    He revealed that even though their girlfriend might be cheating on them, they should remember that the heart still belongs to him.

    Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie popularly known as Erigga, has advised men to request for money from their girlfriends.

    The Warri-born hip-hop star stated this via his X page, while stressing that he has his reasons for telling them to try their luck.

    Erigga said it would be good to demand for the money around 9 o’clock while also asking men when last their lover gave them cash to buy ‘loud’.

    In his words;

    “Try Dey beg your girl money around 9 I know why 🤝. When was the last time ur girl dash you money take buy loud ?”

    Nigerian Rapper  Erigga has warned men who introduce and encourage ladies to smoke must get married to them.

    He said any man who teaches a girl how to smoke ‘loud” (a strain of cannabis) and CSP must eventually tie the knot with her.

    The ‘Motivation’ singer also accused men of encouraging women to prostitute by inviting a female entrepreneur to their home as a criterion for sponsoring their

    “All these girls wey una dey teach to smoke loud and take csp, make una marry them oo,” Erigga tweeted.

    Erigga knocks Headies for undermining South-South region

    Nigerian hip-hop artist Erhiga Agarivbie, popularly  known as Erigga, has disclosed that he started boycotting the Headies Award after his 2020 album The Erigma II’ lost out in the Best Rap Album category at the 14th edition of the award show.

    The Delta state born rapper accused the Headies organisers of disrespecting artists from the South-South region.

    Erigga made the allegations via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, hours after the nominees for the 16th Headies were announced.

    Despite releasing an album, ‘The Lost Boy,’ in the year under review, the Warri-born rapper did not secure any nominations.

    Venting his anger on Twitter, Erigga shared the art cover of his 2020 album ‘The Erigma II’, with the caption: “Na from here I don take boycott all these f*ckers (Headies) the disrespect was too much for the south south to take… If you don’t like us and not going to respect our craft then it’s f*ck you and everything you represent; that’s it.”

    Rapper Erigga considers smoking for two weeks to enter Guinness Book of Record

    Nigerian hip-hop artist, Erihga Agarivbie professionally known as Erigga has noted that he could consider entering the Guinness Book of record by smoking for two weeks non-stop.

    Erigga made this known via his Twitter handle on Monday.

    Recall that  Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef recently broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

    Following Baci’s exploit, Erigga expressed desperation to enter the Guinness Book of Record

    He asked fans for suggestions on how he could achieve it before later contemplating smoking for two weeks to set record for the longest non-stop smoking by individual.

    The rapper wrote, “Watin persin wan do when go break record? Abi make I smoke for 2weeks straight without food.”

    Popular musician, Erhiga Agarivbie, better known by his stage name Erigga, has said that those who are still happy in the present condition of Nigeria are hiding something.

    As the nation continues to be bedevilled by the scarcity of fuel and new currency, the 35-year-old took to social media to rant.

    He said that those who are not angry with the country’s present condition are probably into money rituals, as he cannot understand how anyone could be happy in present Nigeria.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Erigga was born in Warri, Delta State, where he grew up with his family. He is the first of five children and attended Standard International School both primary and secondary.

    Erigga began his music career in early 2010. He has worked with several producers, including Mr Nolimit, C Major, Beatsbymellow and Prinx Emmanuel.

    His first musical release was “Mo Street Gan”. The music video for the song was shot in Nigeria and directed by AKIN Alabi. The song became Radio Continental’s theme song.

    In 2013, Erigga released “Coupé Décalé ft Shuun Bebe”. The music video for the song was endorsed by TV stations in Nigeria. In early 2014, he released another single titled “Love No Be Garri”, featuring Jimoh Waxiu.

    In 17 July 2017, Erigga released his album A Trip To The South which includes Orezi, Skales, Duncan Mighty and many others. In 2018, Erigga released another hit single titled “Motivation” featuring Victor AD. This song has gained over a million views on YouTube.

    Erigga released his highly anticipated project “The Erigma 2” Album.[when?] The body of work, “The Erigma 2” has 18 tracks with guest appearances from Victor AD, Zlatan, Magnito, MI Abaga, Ice Prince, Vector and others.

    The Erigma 2 album has production credits to Mr. Nolimit, C Major, KO Beat, Kulboy Beats, Doka Shot, Lex Amazing, Prinx Emmanuel and co-productions from Beatsbymellow_. The Album was mixed and mastered by Mr. Nolimit.

    Asaba 2022: Zlatan, Erigga to perform at closing ceremony

    Nigerian artistes, Zlatan, Erigga and many others have been penciled down to thrill audience at the sports festival come Saturday 10th of December.

    Patrick Ukah, Chairman, Local Organizing Committee, Asaba 2022 National Sports Festival, (NSF) has said that the world should expect to see a world class closing ceremony on Saturday in the state.

    Ukah noted that the closing ceremony will be highly entertaining and interesting.

    He added that the hosts has been preparing for this ceremony a long time ago and cannot help but deliver a delightful one.

    He noted that the target was to stage a world-class ceremony that would be enjoyed by all participants and lovers of sports worldwide.

    Ukah, who is also the Secretary to the Delta State Government, said, “We started preparation for the closing ceremony just same time with the opening and we are happy the opening was a huge success.

    “The closing is more significant to us because we want people to go back to their respective states with good memories of the closing ceremony.

    “We have schoolchildren preparing for another round of amazing calisthenics display, just as they did at the opening, while some notable artistes will also perform to thrill the audience.”

    Recall that  music stars Ruger, Bella Shmurda and Harrysong all entertained the crowd at the opening ceremony of the event.

    On Saturday, it will be the turn of Zoro, Erigga and Zlatan to thrill the audience at the same sporting arena in Asaba.

    “We are very proud that the Games are going on well; our target is to end it well with the closing ceremony. So, much work has been put in for this event to run smoothly and we intend to put the icing on the cake on Saturday with the closing display,” Ukah added.

    Nigerian rapper, Erigga has charged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to defeat Ghana ahead of Qatar 2022 World Cup playoffs.

    Nigeria will face the Black Stars of Ghana in Kumasi on Friday.

    Erigga on Twitter said: “Super Eagles please for our mental health sake on Twitter no let these people win una Abeg.

    “ I no get power for Ghana people dragging .”

    TheNewsGuru reports that the president of Nigeria community in the Asante region which includes Kumasi, Okafor Chukwudi says Nigerians based in Ghana are fully charged to support their own in the much-desired game against Ghana.

    “We are fully mobilised. We have been working in tandem with the Nigeria High Commission and we will storm the stadium in great numbers,” Okafor said, while receiving the Eagles on arrival in Kumasi on Thursday.
