“Please gather your senses together and hear the following: when the time for an Igbo Presidency comes, no-one can stop it and they will not need a fading, weak, corrupt, deceitful, dishonorable, treacherous, anti-Southern religious bigot and ethnic hegemonist to be a stepping stone for them.”

Fani-Kayode clears air on Tinubu’s health challenge

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) says Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, has no major health challenge, as being speculated in the media.

Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, Director of Special Media Projects and New Media of the Council said this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja.

Fani-Kayode said that Tinubu was more mentally, physically, and spiritually alert than other presidential candidates.

“Tinubu is as fit as a fiddle and has nothing to hide because there is no skeletons in his cupboard.

“He is more mentally, physically and spiritually alert compared to other presidential candidates irrespective of what is being said about him in the media.

“Tinubu does not visit dark places, he is pure in body, spirit and soul, no matter what is being said about Tinubu, he has never betrayed those that helped him to power, he is loyal to his own to a fault.

“As each day passes, the collective ignorance, pettiness and weaknesses of the opposition is becoming more and more manifest,” he said.

Fani-Kayode added: ”The PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar know that Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election hands down, this is getting clearer as each day passes.

“This is why they are so jittery, that is why they resort to nothing but falsehood, insults and abuse.

“That is why the only thing they talk about is Tinubu’s health and age.”

He said that while the APC PCC wanted an issue-based campaign, the opposition party does not even know the meaning of the word.

He added that the APC PCC would not be distracted by negative comments and criticisms by the opposition, saying that the party would remain focused.

“For us the issue is our beloved country Nigeria and the only person in the race that we can trust with the destiny of 200 million Nigerians is Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,” he said.

He said that Nigerians deserved a better president come 2023.

Why appointment of Fani-Kayode as Tinubu spokesperson was one of my happiest days – Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has lashed out at presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, stressing that the appointment of Femi Fani-Kayode as the latter’s spokesperson ahead of the 2023 presidential election was one of his happiest days this year.

In his words: “One of the happiest days of this year for me was the day Tinubu appointed Femi Fani-Kayode as one of his spokesmen. This is a man who said on video that as long as Christ lives, Tinubu will never be President.”

Recounting how Fani-Kayode had in the past sworn that Tinubu “will never be President as long as Christ lives”

Omokri claimed that the APC presidential candidate cursed himself with the appointment.

He also said that Tinubu cursed himself by appointing Fani-Kayode as his spokesperson.

“Then Tinubu added his ‘amen’ by appointing him his spokesman! Tinubu cursed himself. Even Tinubu knows that you cannot stop a ‘church rat from eating a poisoned holy communion’. As long as he rejected FFK, he rejected that prayer. But by embracing FFK, he embraced that prayer,” Omokri asserted.

Omokri is a Nigerian author and social media influencer. He was the host of Transformation with Reno Omokri, a Christian teaching TV show broadcast (for one season) on San Francisco’s KTLN-TV and Detroit’s Impact Network.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Omokri is a Vice President of Joe Trippi and Associates, a U.S political consulting firm.

As the Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan, he was noted for using social media to conduct surveys and draw attention to the projects of the Nigerian Government.

In 2011, Omokri called for Nigerians living outside Nigeria, to endorse Jonathan for the 2011 elections. He was a signatory of a letter by a group known as G 57 that called for the resignation of Yar’adua.

Between 2015 and 2016, Omokri was the host of Transformations With Reno Omokri, a Christian teaching program broadcast on Comcast, DISH Network and Roku. The 30-minute weekly telecast was produced by the Mind of Christ Christian Center in California.

Since 29 May 2015, Omokri has continued to be opposed to the policies of the current Nigerian government and has had conflicts with the Nigerian authorities. He has also been a noted conservative, calling for a restoration of the moral fabric of society.

Atiku’s words not only unacceptable but irresponsible – Fani-Kayode

Reactions have trailed the comments of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar for saying the North does not need a Yoruba or Igbo president.

Atiku said Northerners needed to vote for him rather than a Yoruba or Igbo candidate because he’s a Pan-Nigerian with a northern extraction.

Reacting to the comment, former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode In a series of tweets said Atiku’s remark is unacceptable and despicable.

He wrote: “The North does not need a Yoruba or Igbo President: she needs a Northern President – Atiku Abubakar.

“Such tomfoolery is rarely seen even from the worst amongst us.

“Atiku’s words are not only unacceptable but also insulting, irresponsible and despicable.

“This is especially so given the fact that by next year we would have had 8 years of Northern/Fulani rule and now this man says we must have another 8 years of it because that is what is ‘best for the North’.

“Most Northerners do not believe this and thankfully they, unlike Atiku and members of his divided party, do not see Southerners as slaves and they regard us all as being equal.

“We will not allow Atiku to do to Nigeria what he did to Wike.

“We will not be cheated or denied.

“It is time for power to shift to the South and the overwhelming number of people in the North and certainly all the Northerners in the APC believe that.”

Obidients are poor little children – Fani-Kayode

The former Nigerian aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has described supporters of Labour Party, presidential candidate Peter Obi as poor little children who enjoy hurling insults at others but they can’t take insults themselves.

The APC chieftain made the assertion in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

He stated this while lamenting social media attacks from the Obi supporters who are popularly called Obidients.

He wrote, “The problem with Peter & his Obidients is that they know how to throw punches but they don’t know how to take them.

“They enjoy hurling insults at others but they can’t take insults themselves. One small jab & their glass jaws are broken & ego shattered. Poor little children.”

Fani-Kayode withdraws case against estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday, withdrew an attempted murder suit filed against his estranged wife, Ms Precious Chikwendu.

Prosecution counsel, John Ijagbemi, told Justice Inyang Ekwo of a Federal High Court, Abuja shortly after the matter was called for the defendants to take a plea.

“The matter was slated for re-arraignment of the defendants today.

“However, we want to plead to your lordship for the withdrawal of the case,” he said.

Ijagbemi informed that the FCT Commissioner of Police was in receipt of a letter from the nominal complainant (Fani-Kayode) about his intention to withdraw the case.

He said the withdrawal of the charge was provided for in Section 108 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015.

After lawyer to Ms Chikwendu and others, Peter Abang, did not oppose the request, Justice Ekwo dismissed the suit.

In the amended 14-count charge marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/01/2022 dated and filed on April 28, Chikwendu was the 2nd defendant in the matter.

Other defendants in the trial include Emmanuel Anakan, Prisca Chikwendu and Osakwe Azubuike as 1st, 3rd and 4th defendants respectively, while others are said to be at large.

Speaking to newsmen after the sitting, Abang described the withdrawal of the suit as “a welcomed development.”

On his part, Ijagbemi said “the complainant, via the prosecution, has the unfettered power to withdraw a charge before the court.”

He said with the provision of ACJA, 2015, a charge could be withdrawn even until judgment against any of the defendants or accused persons standing trial before the court.

The lawyer said the ex-minister, in his withdrawal of case letter, informed that “the whole family members had sat and amicably resolved the matter without any rancour or recourse to previous occurrences and they are happily standing and living together in love and in harmony

“And we, being an institution of government saddled with the responsibility of protection of lives and property, seeking peace and order in the society including individual family, we are glad to apply for the withdrawal of this case against the defendants.

“You all know that it is the family that is really involved and we are interested in the peace and tranquility of the family and that is why we have withdrawn it and it is our pleasure.”

Wike, team are being treated like filth in PDP – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, advises Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State to dump the Peoples Democratic Party that treats him like a rag doll and join the All Progressives Congress

    By Femi Fani-Kayode

Honestly, my sympathies, heart and pity go out to the Wike group. They are being treated like filth by their party. They had no choice but to pull out of the Atiku campaign. Yet I saw all this coming long ago. Why do you think I left the PDP in the first place?

It is a party that is no longer national and does not even pretend to have respect for Southerners. It is a party that is incapable of rewarding loyalty and keeping its word. It is a party that begins and ends in the North and every Southerner and Middle Belter that is still there is nothing but a quisling and a stooge.

It is a party that does not believe in or understand the importance of building bridges of peace, love and understanding between the North and the South and ensuring fairness, justice and equity for all. It is a party that does nothing but insult and seek to marginalise and destroy its perceived detractors and enemies and putting Nigeria in its hands would mean the end of our country within a matter of months.

This is not the PDP of OBJ, UMYA or GEJ. This is a dying and decaying fly and maggot-infested carcass and a pitiful shadow and shell of its former self. A party with no morals or decency that treats those that stood by it, helped it and fought for it over the years with contempt and disdain.

A party that uses and dumps. A party that seeks to deride, misrepresent and humiliate all those that once stood in the trenches with them and fought for their cause. A party which has close and covert links with the terrorists that are killing, maiming and kidnapping our people.

A party which is powered and controlled by hidden forces that believe they own Nigeria and that have not only sought to destabilise our nation but have also unleashed murder, mayhem, hell and terror against our people. A party that does not want peace but delights in conflict, rancour, division, hegemony and war.

A party some of whose leaders and members are behind much of the insurgency, bloodshed and mass murder in the North West and parts of the North Central and particularly in Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, Nassarawa and Katsina.

A party that has done nothing but humiliate its former President and flagbearer for the 2015 presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan, over the last seven years and who did not even see fit to give him a place or a role in their Presidential Campaign Council.

A party whose National Chairman is little better than a haughty peacock and who is so vain, puffed up, conceited and deluded that he believes he is more important than all the Presidents on the African continent put together.

The only thing they know how to do is use religion and ethnicity to fight. They know nothing else. They pit Nigerian against Nigerians and seek to divide us rather than bring us together. They do not care about progress and they do not even know the meaning of the word: they only care about their pockets.

The only way forward for the Wike group is to come out of the shadows and support Asiwaju for the presidential campaign and get their supporters to vote for his candidacy. It is a matter of honour.

They took everything from them including their self-respect and dignity. What more do they have left and what are they waiting for? If Atiku wins the election he will come after them with all he has got and utterly crush and destroy them.

Even if Atiku or Okowa themselves are not interested in doing so the hawks around them like Sule Lamido, Attahiru Bafarawa and Adamu Waziri will ensure this is done. For the Wike group, the threat is now existential. Every one of them has been marked for destruction and humiliation by the new leaders of their party.

PDP is not only a menace to their loyal members but a very real and present danger to Nigeria. They should be treated with contempt and the shameless club of degenerates and clan of lepers that they are.

  • You’re insensitive, incompetent – Fani-Kayode fires back at Military

You’re insensitive, incompetent – Fani-Kayode fires back at Military

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has frowned at the Defence Headquarters for quickly responding to his statement and not channelling the same energy to the recent spate of banditry and terrorism attacks, making reference to the recently attacked Kuje Custodial Centre.

Recall that DHQ had denied the allegations that the Department of State Security (DSS) notified the military about an impending attack on Kuje Correctional Centre and a previous attack on a Kaduna-Abuja passenger train.

Meanwhile,  the Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Jimmy Akpor,  noted that the allegations by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, are unsubstantiated and wild.

Akpor further stressed that it was a shame that the former minister is ignorant of whose responsibility it is to guard the prison.

Reacting to Akpor’s counter-accusations, Femi Fani Kayode took to his Twitter page and described the Military’s quick response to his allegations as very highly insensitive and a display of incompetence.

His tweet reads in part: “It is instructive that the @DefenceInfoNG can, within 2 days, respond to my video and yet cannot respond to the daily bombing, butchery, slaughter, kidnapping and terror that Nigerians have been subjected to over the last 7 years. Such insensitivity & incompetence is nauseating.”

  • Group urge Fani-Kayode to proffer solution to security challenges

Group urge Fani-Kayode to proffer solution to security challenges

A pro-democracy group, the National Democratic Alliance has advised former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, to proffer solutions and not escalate current security challenges with unguarded utterances.

The group gave the advice in a statement issued by its Secretary, Biodun Olajumoke, on Sunday in Abuja.

Olajumoke recalled that Fani-Kayode recently heaped blame on military hierarchy over insecurity in the country in a video recording following some terrorists’ attacks.

He stated that the former minister alleged that while young and junior officers were doing their best in the battlefield, senior commanders were doing nothing.

Fani-Kayode also alleged that it was becoming “increasingly difficult to comprehend the glaring incompetence and lack of patriotism, professionalism, diligence and courage of the leadership of the Nigerian Armed Forces’’.

Reacting to the video, Olajumoke accused Fani-Kayode of expressing frustration over the loyalty and total submission of the military under Gen. Lucky Irabor, to constitute authority.

According to him, rather than proffer solutions to security challenges, the video by Fani-Kayode smacks of deliberate efforts to cause more confusion and heighten tension in the polity.

He charged that Fani-Kayode was not unaware that political tension was one of the causes of the security challenges.

The secretary urged Fani-Kayode to proffer genuine solutions to the crisis, adding that all military personnel, whether young, junior soldiers and officers or senior officers had been victims of the security challenges.

According to him, what the nation needs now is to support the military to defeat the enemy and not to castigate or instigate military personnel against one other.
