Kogi Election: FFK mocks Dino Melaye for scoring low votes

Femi Fani-Kayode, (FFK) a former minister of aviation has mocked Senator Dino Melaye, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded guber election in Kogi state, over his performance.

FFK made mockery of Dino on social media, saying his career is now over.

The Lagos born politician took to his Platform X page to throw tantrums at the former lawmaker, saying it’s politically over for him.

    His post reads: “Poor Dino.

“Despite all his loud and boastful rantings, puerile noise-making, clownish behaviour, crude bum-fuckery, infantile court-jesting, nauseating gorilla-dancing, gratutious insults, foul-mouthed bluster, tough guy “gra gra” and area boy antics and in spite of his membership of the ‘Bugger Me Stiff United Football Club’, he received the flogging and trouncing of his pitiful life in the Kogi state governorship election.

“Out of the 751,000 votes that were cast, he could not even muster up to 47,000. That is approximately 5%.

“Worst still, he came in a very distant third in the race and some have even said fourth! How sad!

“This is a man that was once elected as a House of Reps member and a Senator!

“This is a man that mocked PBAT for his age, called him a drug dealer, accused him of being a drug addict, threatened to violate the honor of the First Lady, rolled all over the floor during the presidential campaign rallies in the name of depicting our President as an invalid and geriatric and threatened us with hell, fire and brimstone if Asiwaju won.

“Well, today he is where he is and politically, its all over for him. How are the mighty fallen!

“It appears that the White Lion of Kogi made good his promise and has retired him from politics permanently.

“My heart goes out to him.”

Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged as the winner of the November 11 poll.

Ododo was declared winner after polling 446,237 votes, defeating his closest rival, Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who polled 259,052, while Melaye polled 46,362 votes.

“Britain is not supposed to interfere in our internal affairs” -FFK tells British envoy

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), has told the British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, that “they are not supposed to interfere in our internal affairs”.

FFK tackled the British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, after the envoy faulted him on some comments he made during the just-concluded electioneering in Lagos State.

Llewellyn-Jones, speaking on a current affairs programme on Nigerian Info on Sunday, also lamented that the ruling APC had yet to distance itself from the controversial comments made by Fani-Kayode, to which the former aviation minister in a series of tweet on Sunday evening said he wouldn’t be intimidated by a “British civil servant”.

However, in a fresh tweet on Monday morning, FFK, who is also a member of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, challenged the British envoy to do his worst, saying he feared no one.

He wrote, “Permit me to add the following addendum to my earlier personal response to the little Englander. I ask, who is this strange little British diplomat who believes he can tell us what Lagos state should be like in terms of ethnic make-up and how it should be run?

“He has accused me of hate speech and incitement simply because I said Lagos is not a no man’s land and that the Yoruba ought to be respected in their territory.

“Well, let me say clearly and categorically that I have no apology for saying this and I stand by every word I said. We do not need any lessons from him. Foreign diplomats come to this country to enhance our relationship with theirs and not to give us lectures.

“They are not supposed to interfere in our internal affairs, to be partial, to tell us what to do or to tell us how to do it. They are meant to observe in studied silence and make their concerns and representations, if any, known privately. They cannot get into the political ring of fire.”

He added that foreign diplomats should not tell people who to vote for, how to vote or what God to worship.

Challenging the British envoy to do his worst, FFK said, “That strange little bald man with slooping shoulders at the British Embassy has really got a nerve. I will take up this matter formally. His diplomatic immunity is not absolute: it is qualified. He is therefore subject to our laws.

“As for his threats, I challenge him to do his very worst. We are not your slaves. Nigeria is an independent sovereign nation. We are no longer a colony. To hell with him and those that are egging him on and licking his feet. I am FFK: I fear no-one and I bow before no man.”

Continuing he said the hands of the British government were also not clean saying their “strong economy was built on the blood, sweat and tears of Irish, African and Indian slaves.”

“The days of dictation are long gone. What they are trying to do in our country and to our country will not work. Bola Tinubu won a free and fair election and, whether they like it or not, he will be sworn in on May 29th 2023.

“Those that want to impose an ING on our nation and follow it up with a civil war in an attempt to dismember and destroy her shall not prevail. Nigeria shall remain united, shall be at peace, shall flourish, shall we excel and democracy shall be alive and well in our nation for many years to come,” he added.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) Recalls that the British High Commission had last week said the UK Minister of State for Development and Africa, Andrew Mitchell MP, was prepared to take action against those who engaged in or incited electoral violence during the just-concluded general elections.

Llewellyn-Jones, yesterday, said the UK was already collating names of perpetrators and would impose sanctions “including preventing people from obtaining UK visas or imposing sanctions under our human rights sanctions regime.”

Atiku hails UK, says DSS must arrest FFK for inciting comments

…say he is already begging for appointment in Tinubu’s ill-fated govt

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has praised British envoy, Ben Llewellyn-Jones for naming the Director New Media of the Bola Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, among those making inciting comments.

In a statement on Sunday, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Waziri Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, said the Department of State Services ought to invite Fani-Kayode as his rhetoric could set the country on fire.

Shaibu maintained that Fani-Kayode’s claim that he would make Nigeria ungovernable if Tinubu is not inaugurated as President on May 29, 2023, was infuriating and is deserving of the attention of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Atiku’s aide, however, noted that the UK Deputy High Commissioner, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, deserves special commendation for pointing out that Fani-Kayode had been making inciting comments and ought to have been cautioned by Tinubu, his boss.

“We acknowledge as timely the statement of the DSS call on politicians not to overheat the polity. But call on the security agency to arrest Fani-Kayode for not heeding the counsel of the DSS when he threatened make Nigeria ungovernable.

“The DSS rightly invited Fani-Kayode after he made false claims about Atiku planning a coup back in January and asked him to report daily. But for some reason, he has continued unhinged to spew hate. Recently, he even justified the attacks and the profiling of the Igbo in the recently concluded fraudulent governorship election in Lagos State. He has also threatened to make the country ungovernable if Tinubu is not sworn-in.

“I think it’s a good time to remind the DSS that Femi Fani-Kayode has returned to his old ways. Now, he is threatening fire and brimstone over a most contentious election, which Nigerians have refused to endorse or celebrate one full month after the collective disenfranchisement of the electorate.

“Fani-Kayode is threatening that he and some other desperados will make Nigeria ungovernable if Tinubu is not inaugurated on May 29, 2023. It is time to take in Fani-Kayode so he doesn’t inflame any further, the already combustible national angst.”

Shaibu alleged that the Nigeria Police Force had continued to give Fani-Kayode cover and had been used many times to intimidate people as stated by his staff.

He wondered why, despite an order of the Inspector-General of Police that only those holding political offices should move with police escorts, Fani-Kayode had continued to move with heavy security like a governor.

Atiku’s aide said, “Although Nigeria is grossly under-policed, over 40 percent of its police is attached to VIPs and unauthorised persons. With between 350,000 and 370,000 personnel for a population of 200 million, it cannot meet the United Nations recommendation of 340:100,000 police-to-citizen ratio, rendering it grossly ineffective in fighting crime.

“Yet, Fani-Kayode, who has not held any political office since 2007 when he was Aviation Minister, moves with a siren-blaring convoy. He should immediately be stripped of those security aides, uniformed or otherwise. He only uses the security to sustain that delusion of self-importance. He is posturing with state owned security personnel – that is not even enough for the rest of us.

“The likes of former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon, ex-Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Olusegun Obasanjo do not enjoy the number of security details FFK has around him and honestly, this is what fuels his feeling of self importance.”

He noted that the All Progressives Congress had on March 2, 2015, said in a statement by Alhaji Lai Mohammed, that “Fani-Kayode may have unhinged, perhaps as a result of a relapse into an unhealthy lifestyle of substance abuse.”

Shaibu said this was probably the reason behind Fani-Kayode’s volatile behaviour and erratic temper, which was caught on video in 2020 when he gave a dressing down to a journalist who had asked him an innocent question.

Atiku’s aide added, “Fani-Kayode’s reputation for his volatile and erratic behaviour is legendary. This was a man who publicly threatened a journalist for asking an innocent question. The Nigeria Union of Journalists rightly blacklisted the cantankerous former minister.”

Shaibu called on Nigerians not to take Fani-Kayode seriously as his only guiding principle was his stomach.

Atiku’s aide added, “Fani-Kayode’s life story is one of ‘anywhere belle face’. In 2018 he said he would ‘rather die than join a filthy, rat-infested sinking ship like the Almajiri Peoples Congress’. Then when his pocket began to dry up, he embarked on a nebulous tour of PDP states in search of money.

“Immediately Lawan lost, Fani-Kayode began begging associates of Atiku Abubakar to facilitate an appointment into the media team of the PDP. After he was rejected by Atiku’s camp, Fani-Kayode began following Tinubu all over the place in search of a position in the campaign. After Tinubu’s illegitimate victory, Fani-Kayode is now lobbying for a new position in the ill-fated government that will be sent packing by the courts.”

FFK chastises Obi for claiming victory in the country’s 2023 presidential election

Former Minister of Aviation and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani Kayode, popularly known as  FFK has knocked the presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi for claiming he won the 2023 presidential elections in the country.

Earlier,  Obi  had declared that he won the 2023 presidential election while speaking at a press conference.

The Labour Party flagbearer said he was robbed of his mandate, adding that he would reclaim it in a court of law.

According to the result reeled out by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Labour Party candidate came third with 6, 101,533 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party had 6,984,520 and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress was declared the winner.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode tweeted: “Peter the Pooh says he won the election? Wonders never cease! Now I know where the Obidients get their mass delusion & hypnotic psychosis from.

“Can someone tell this poor, lost soul to stop shedding tears on national television? He can leave that to Datti the Daft: he is good at it.”

Former Aviation Minister,  and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Femi Fani-Kayode, has congratulated the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu popularly known as Jagaban.

FFK as he is fondly called described Tinubu’s victory as historic and well-deserved.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, had announced Tinubu as the winner of last Saturday’s presidential election in the early hours of Wednesday.

Mahmood said, Tinubu scored a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP who polled 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 votes, respectively.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode, in a tweet via his Twitter handle, wrote: “Congrats to President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) for a resounding, historic & well-deserved victory after a hard-fought fight.

“We give the Lord praise and thanksgiving for what He has done. He is mighty in battle and faithful to His own. To Him alone be the glory.”

FFK knocks Obasanjo for asking for the cancellation of elections

Former Minister of Aviation, and a chieftain of the  All Progressives Congress, (APC) Femi Fani-Kayode, has criticized former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his comment on Saturday’s presidential election.

Obasanjo in his letter addressed to President Buhari asked for the cancellation of the elections in disputed areas.

Fani-Kayode said Obasanjo has plunged into the ring of fire by opting for anarchy.

Obasanjo had called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) to cancel the presidential and National Assembly elections in disputed areas.

He said the election was disrupted in many areas and “tension is building up” over the outcome of the election.

The elder statesman also alleged that INEC officials had been compromised by the manual transmission of results which he said had been manipulated and doctored.

According to him, it is no secret that INEC officials at operational level have been allegedly compromised following the manual transmission of results which he alleged had been manipulated and doctored.

Obasanjo’s letter is coming barely few hours after the party agents staged a walkout.

Reacting to Obasanjo’s comment, the former Aviation Minister said Obasanjo had chosen the path of “lawlessness and anarchy.”

He tweeted: “After declaring for Obi, OBJ became an interested party & lost the right to act as an independent statesman. He has plunged into the ring of fire & has chosen the path of lawlessness & anarchy.

“By attempting to scuttle democracy he has wiped away the good he has done in the past.”

2023 Polls: FFK mocks Atiku, tips Tinubu to emerge victorious

Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has made a mockery of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of the announcement of the 2023 presidential election result by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC)

According to INEC, the collation and announcement of result will begin by 12pm on Sunday and Fani-Kayode is already seeing a victory for Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate.

However, the former minister of aviation did not mention the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, who is currently leading in some states.

He believes that Tinubu will end up in Aso Rock Villa, while Atiku will head to Dubai, United Arab Emirates after the election results have been announced.

“As we wait for the results to be released by @inecnigeria I can tell you that it’s looking good for us. @officialABAT is preparing to go to the Villa whilst @atiku is preparing to go back to Dubai,” he tweeted.

“This time let’s hope he stays there! #NigeriaDecides2023 #presidentialelection2023.

  • FFK’s wife, Precious Chikwendu reunites with children after long battle for custody

Precious Chikwendu, the wife of the former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode a.k.a FFK, has reunited with her children after months of intense battle.

The duo has been in an intense fight in and out of the court over the custody of the kids who have been in the care of their father ever since.

In a new development, Chikwendu finally got to reunite with her children amidst the battle for divorce.

Taking to Instagram, FFK shared a video of the moments the kids’ mother enjoyed with them which he described as a ‘beautiful sight.’

“My sons spent the day with their mother yesterday! ?❤️
What a beautiful sight it was! ?❤️
Love, peace and joy all around! ?❤️?
    Thanks be to God. ?❤️?
@snowhiteey , Thanks Mama Aragorn. ?,” FFK wrote while sharing the video.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that Chikwendu and FFK have been locked in a messy legal battle over the custody of their four sons since they parted ways in 2020.

Chikwendu had petitioned the United Nations (UN), Amnesty International, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) seeking justice and custody of her children.

The petition came about 48 hours after she penned a sad, public note to her first son Lotanna on his birthday.

In December 2021, she urged a Customary Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) court to declare that she was never married to the ex-minister.

Contrary to his claims, she said he neither paid her bride price nor performed customary or statutory marriage rites with her. As a result, she seeks access to the four children she bore him.

In the same month, the former Minister disobeyed court orders to allow her access to her children, alleging that she has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

FFK, whom the Nigerian anti-graft arraigned for allegedly forging medical reports to evade trial on December 17, 2021, also alleged that she refused to breastfeed her sons, as such, owns no bragging right to be called a mother.

Various court suits have granted Chikwemdu access to her children, who are all below the age of eight.

In the letter titled, ‘Request for Access to the Petitioner’s Four Male Children,’ Ms Chikwendu chose Central Park in Abuja to meet with the children on December 18, 2021, from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.

Other days scheduled for the visitation were January 1, 2022, New Year’s Day, at the same venue and time.

    The petition
The petition ‘Justice for Snowhite and Sons’ billed to hit 10,000 signatures had accumulated 8128 signatures as of press time.

Other agencies named in the petition include Human Rights Campaign, Child Rights Advocacy, Project Alert, and Women Advocacy.

According to Chikwendu, the petition was initiated “to reach all international agencies reachable.”

In the petition hosted on Change, org, the ex-beauty queen said her ex-partner has a history of abusing women.

According to her, she experienced severe mental and physical abuse for six years together.

Chikwendu also claimed she was locked up in a mental home where she was injected with substances on the ex-ministers orders to “enable him to create a situation to take over her kids.”

The mother-of-four said since their affair ended on August 2, 2020, she has been denied access to her children.

The petition partly read: “This petition would help African women who have been denied a right to their children because they were married to or cohabited with a person of power.

“This petition would put an end to bullying and oppression from political spouses who have the power and means to oppress and frustrate their partners out of the lives of their growing children who need the love and care of both parents. Precious is seeking justice and custody of her children. This bill will help her bring her problem before the International community.”

  • Fani-Kayode didn’t attack me with hammer, says ex-domestic aide

Fani-Kayode didn’t attack me with hammer, says ex-domestic aide

Gbenga Adekoya, a former personal assistant to a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has described a video where it was alleged he was being threatened by the former Minister as fake and mischievous.

He said the former Minister has never threatened or assaulted him.

Fani-Kayode was alleged to have attacked Adekoya with an hammer.

But Adekoya said there was nothing like that.

Adekoya, in a video making the round on the internet, said he left the employ of Fani-Kayode peacefully.

He said there was never any rift or misunderstanding with his former boss to warrant any threat or molestation.

He said Fani-Kayode remained a respected former boss with whom he shares mutual affection.

Some ex-domestic staff of Fani-Kayode had accused him of assaut and sexual harassment.

But the former Minister’s media aide, Jubril Olaiya, in a statement corroborated Adekoya’s position.

He said allegation that Femi Fani-Kayode is a violent man who threatened any of his staff with a hammer is false.

He said the video was doctored with a fake voiceover three years after to give a false narrative.

According to Olaiya: “The allegation that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is a violent man that threatened any of his staff with a hammer is false.

“The video was doctored with a fake voiceover 3 years after the event took place to give a false narrative.

“There was no threat or assault on the individual in the video and he has come out to say so publicly.

“It is pertinent to note that the video was shot in 2018 and Chief Fani-Kayode had no idea that his estranged wife was filming him.

“The voiceover was done in 2021 purposely to damage him and portray him in a bad light.

“The reason he had a hammer in his hand was that he and his staff were hanging new pictures on the wall in his sitting room and the two individuals that were in the video with Chief Fani-Kayode have attested to this.

“On the allegations made by other domestic staff, Chief Fani-Kayide categorically denies the allegations.

“He has never sexually molested any of his staff and the young lady called Anthonia certainly does not meet up to his specification in terms of looks. To say the least he finds her patently unattractive.

“Chief Fani-Kayode has instituted both criminal and civil proceedings against her for her falsehood so she will have every opportunity to prove her wild allegations in court just as the other individuals that swore to fake affidavits against Chief Fani-Kayode, commit perjury against him and that were paid to orchestrate these malicious falsehoods will.

“If the individuals have nothing to hide why are they running from the police? Chief Fani-Kayode has over 55 staff in his house and many were approached with inducements to lie against him by the mastermind of this smear.

“We have evidence of this and it will be presented. She has also threatened the lives of many of the staff.

“The whole thing is a well-orchestrated, well-funded smear campaign to tarnish FFK’s image but he remains undeterred.

Those behind it will be brought to justice and they will be exposed. We look forward to seeing them in court.”
