    EPL 2025/26 fixtures released

    Manchester United will host Arsenal in the opening round of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

    Champions Liverpool, meanwhile, will open their title defence against Bournemouth at Anfield. The Reds will kickoff the season on a Friday night on August 15.

    Sunderland face West Ham at home, with fellow promoted clubs Leeds hosting Everton and Burnley going to Tottenham.

    Everton will face Brighton in the second round at their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

    The season, which consists of 380 games over 33 weekends and five midweek rounds, will conclude on Sunday, 24 May.

    Carabao Cup: 2024/ 25 season fixtures released

    The draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup for the upcoming season was conducted on Thursday.

     

    Teams from the Championship, League One, and League Two enter the competition at this stage, with the exceptions of Burnley and Luton, who will join later due to their relegation from the Premier League.

     

    In one of the standout fixtures, Leeds United will face Championship rivals Middlesbrough.

     

    Top-flight clubs will enter the competition in the second round, while those competing in Europe will join in the third round. Liverpool won the competition last season by defeating Chelsea at Wembley.

  • NPFL releases 2023/24 season fixtures

    NPFL releases 2023/24 season fixtures

    Nigeria Premier League champions,  Enyimba have been drawn against Bendel Insurance in the opening fixture of the 2023/24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

    The draw was held in Abuja on Tuesday .

    NPFL’s Runner up, Remo Stars, wilL face Rivers United for their opening fixture.

    League’s Debutant, Sporting Lagos will trade tackles  with Heartland.

    The new season is expected to kickstart on September 9.

    Europa League: Check out full quarter-final fixture

    The Europa draws for the quarter-final fixtures were made today at Nyon in Switzerland.

    The draws was live on UEFA’s official website today by 1pm.

    This year’s quarter-final fixture will hold between 13th and 20th of April 2023 , while semi-finals will hold on the 11th and 18th of May.

    After playing and seeing off two Spanish opposition, Manchester United would have to battle another side from Spain.
    Juventus will trade tackle with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon who saw off Arsenal from the competition.

  • La Liga releases 2022/2023 fixtures

    The LaLiga fixture list for the 2022/2023 season was released by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on Thursday.

    With the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar set to commence in November 21, 2022, football leagues worldwide have had to alter their schedule. However, the start date for La Liga isn’t too different from the previous season.

    Despite the mid-season break to accommodate the 2022 World Cup, the 2022-23 season of La Liga is scheduled to start on August 12.

    The start date for the upcoming season is only one day earlier than when the 2021-22 campaign got underway.

    Champions Real Madrid will open their campaign with a trip away  to newly promoted Almeria, while Barcelona play at home to Rayo Vallecano.

    The El Classico  game between  Rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona  will hold on the October 16 ,2022.

    The game on Match Day 9, will be played at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, with the return fixture at Barcelona’s Camp Nou taking place on the weekend of March 19, 2023.

    Atletico Madrid, who finished third last season, begin the season away at Getafe while Sevilla, who finished fourth in the final Champions League spot, will travel to Osasuna.

    The 2022/23 LaLiga season will begin on the weekend of August 14, 2022, and end on the weekend of June 4, 2023.

    EPL: Man City to start title defence at West Ham [Full fixtures]

    Premier League champions Manchester City FC will begin the defence of their title at West Ham in the final match of the opening weekend’s fixtures.

    Pep Guardiola’s side will start their bid for a fifth championship in six seasons at the London Stadium at 4.30 p.m. (1430 GMT) on Aug. 7, after all their rivals have begun their campaigns.

    Main rivals Liverpool FC go to promoted Fulham in the early Saturday match, which pitches the Reds’ new signing, Fabio Carvalho against his old club first up.

    Old Trafford gets to see new Manchester United FC manager, Erik ten Hag first as the Dutchman opens his maiden season in England at home to Brighton on the Sunday.

    Frank Lampard, who guided Everton to safety with one match to spare in May, comes up against his former employers Chelsea in the Saturday evening kick-off.

    Nottingham Forest’s first match in the top-flight in 23 years will be against Newcastle at St James’ Park.

    Promoted Bournemouth, who do not face a team outside last season’s top 12 in their opening five fixtures host Aston Villa first game back before taking on City, Arsenal and Liverpool in consecutive matches.

    For the second season running Arsenal have the honour of kicking-off the new campaign with a short trip to Crystal Palace on Friday Aug. 5, when manager Mikel Arteta will hope to avoid last season’s chastening experience of a 2-0 defeat at newcomers Brentford.

    Palace look like having one of the toughest starts of any club as after the Gunners, they go to Anfield, host Aston Villa and then head to Manchester City.
