    BBNaija’s Frodd recounts how he was sexually molested from age five to nine

    Frodd, the former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, has recounted a painful chapter of his childhood, revealing how he was sexually abused by multiple domestic workers from the age of five until he was nine.

    The father of two, through his verified Instagram, shared his harrowing experience on Friday to raise awareness and encourage parents to be more vigilant about their children’s interactions with adults.

    “As a child, I was physically molested from the age of 5 to about 9 by different house helps we had except for the lady that nurtured me at my baby stage (Aunty Chinenye). The rest may be reading this or they may be in different parts of the world, plus a certain neighbour,” Frodd revealed.

    Using his own story as a cautionary tale, Frodd urged parents to closely observe their children’s reactions around adults. He stressed the importance of recognizing subtle signs of discomfort or inappropriate attraction., saying, “When your little boy or girl starts becoming attracted or irritated by a big aunty or uncle (watch those aunty’s well), We couldn’t speak then because parents didn’t give us that relationship and they never read the room.”

    The former housemate announced the good news on Instagram on Thursday morning with  heartwarming photos of himself, his first daughter, and the newborn.

    “Double the love, double the joy—officially a GirlDad times two! My heart is so full! Blessed #DadOfGirls,” he wrote, expressing gratitude to his wife.

    Frodd, a former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, and Chioma, his wife, are anticipating the arrival of their second child together.

    TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Chioma shared photos of her baby bump via her Instagram.

    In another post, she described herself as the “righteousness of God,” hailing her husband as a “sharp-shooter.”

    Fans and fellow celebrities stormed the comments section of the post to congratulate the young couple.

    Born Chukwuemeke Okoye, Frodd was the second runner-up during the 2019 BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition.

    In 2022 December, Frodd proposed to Chioma, and the pair tied the knot in February 2023.

    The couple welcomed their first child together – a girl named Elena in August 2023.

    Tolanibaj and Frodd, housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija, “All Stars” edition, have been evicted from the show.

    Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, host of the show, announced this during the Sunday live eviction show.

    The vote percentage displayed after the eviction process revealed that Frodd  had the lowest votes of  1.22 per cent while Tolanibaj got 1.55 per cent.

    This is the first eviction process without the involvement of the eviction jury.

    Tolanibaj, a Disc Jockey, who described herself as the audacious lady, said, “My stay in the house has been adventurous and entertaining. I am grateful;  I am about to be a global DJ; watch out; Tolanibaj to the world.”

    Also, Frodd said,  “I have already established a real estate business and another on kitchen cloud, I will be going into these businesses.

    “Also, I am building an app to key into solving a serious problem in the community, It will be unveiled soon and it will be useful to everyone.”

    The housemates are competing for the grand prize of N120 million.

    BBNaija All Stars housemate Frodd, has issued a strong warning to his car mechanic during his diary session with Biggie on Tuesday.

    Frodd has expressed how much he misses his wife and was going to leave some words for his car  mechanic before being interrupted by Biggie.

    He said” Biggie what i want to say now has nothing to do with you or the house, i just want to say how much i miss my wife, she has given me a mandate to be in the house till the last day. But i just want to warn my mechanic, there is a car he’s suppose to take to her”

    However, Biggie stopped Frodd at that point and ask him to leave.

    The video has since stirred hilarious reactions from netizens, including BBNaija show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

    Reacting to Frodd, Ebuka, tweeted: “How can Frodd be warning his mechanic on international TV?”

    Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Chukwuemeka Okoye, aka Frodd has moved from being a youngster with tall dreams to become a star in his own right.

    The reality TV star and actor in a chat with TheNewsGuru, opened up on how Big Brother Naija changed his life. Frodd noted that Big Brother platform elevates anyone who participates in the reality Tv show.

    According to him: “To be frank the Big brother platform gives you opportunity to become everything you have wished for. . From talent, to exposure, accessibility, grants and more .All I have done is to trust the process, remain humble, above all making conscious efforts towards the acts I am passionate about. In return doing these things, grace found me and that way I would always stay relevant”.

    Frodd in a recent interview recounted how he became star struck when he acted with revered actor Richard Mofe Damijo.

    He said:”“Namaste Wahala was everything to me. It was my debut in Nollywood and to an international audience as well. I worked alongside great actors but the scene with RMD got me excited. I saw a lot of his movies growing up because my mother was a huge fan of his and I loved him too. It had to be as real and good as it should. It was a bit hard because I was star-struck and did not know my first role would have me screaming at my icon. RMD gave me words of encouragement with tips on how best to execute that scene. My confidence was restored and we made a classic”, he told Punch.

    Chukwuemeka Okoye better known as Frodd became prominent after he participated in the 2019 edition of BBNaija.

    The outspoken reality TV star has opened up on the impact the reality TV show made on his life.

    Speaking in a chat with Media Hub Room, he said:”The show has changed my life in a very big way, I have met many people since I got out of the house. People that the way I live in the house has influenced one way or the other. From my own self, I learn a lot in the house as well, how to associate myself with people, different personalities, fire watcher, health and everything. I have my ways on how to interact with people, it also helps me to develop myself talent wise.

     

    “It also helps me grow personally, to endure trials and all that. Basically, I tell you it’s been a mind-blowing experience, I actually say it is a crash course, it’s a life event. The things I learnt in the house for three months, would have been what I could have played in my life journey for five years but it was short-lived in three months back-to-back, in an atmosphere that challenged me to improve. So far so good it it has been very healthy, though there are parts where we are still trying to adjust, the going out part, no public spaces, no eating and drinking in the public, we can still do our thing, Frodd is still Frodd. Still keeping it real 100%”.

    Though BBNaija 2019 has ended, its looks like the drama that emanated from the reality TV show won’t be ending anytime soon.

    During the just concluded ‘Pepper dem’ edition of the show, two contestants who drew so much attention to viewers were Frodd and Esther because of their interesting relationship.

    Frodd was recently interviewed on Wazobia FM where he was asked about his relationship with Esther and gave a very shocking response.

    The soft spoken ex- BBNaija housemate revealed that he will not be having time for that relationship, adding that he is trying to maximize the platform BBNaija has given him and make his fans happy.

    His statement has elicited different reactions on Twitter, with any criticizing him over being manipulative.

    Nigerians have continued to express mixed reactions over the surprise eviction of housemate, Diane Russet, from BBNaija Season Four show.

    Diane was evicted on Monday night in a funny game of chance.

    Frodd, as the ultimate veto holder, had previously nominated five housemates for eviction and as a result, Elozonam, Cindy and Ike were evicted from the pool.

    On Monday night, he was asked to perform the final eviction as veto holder in a game of chance between Omashola and Diane.

    Diane and Omashola wrote their names on their gold Bet9ja coins and dropped it in a magic hat with the rest of the Coins.

    This left Frodd with the final Ultimate Veto job of picking who among the housemate would go home through an unlucky draw.

    It was a tense moment in the House as Frodd reached into the sac picking again and again till he eventually picked Diane.

    The eviction sparked a lot of emotions as Frodd and Mercy could not hold back their tears. Mike, Omashola and Seyi tried to maintain their composure.

    On social media, fans expressed mixed feelings about the method of eviction. While some felt it was cruel to put housemates on the spot, others supported the twist.
