Just in: Fubara’s Sept 18th resumption in jeopardy over Supreme Court case

There’s every likelihood that Governor Siminalayi may not resume duties as envisaged on September 18th.

This new legal decision casts a shadow over the green light from the presidency, adding another layer of complexity to an already tumultuous situation.

Chairman of the Council of Legal Education (CLE), Chief Emeka Ngige (SAN), has warned that Governor Siminalayi Fubara risks losing his governorship if the Supreme Court fails to urgently hear the pending case on the Rivers State political crisis before September 18.

Speaking in a live coverage by Symfoni, Ngige noted that the state of emergency declared in Rivers, which Fubara has challenged in court alongside 11 state governments, could lapse before the matter is heard, leaving the governor exposed to the same fate that befell former Plateau State governor Joshua Dariye during President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration.

I ventured into the Rivers State state of emergency. And I said the matter is in court, the soft duties. The governor in suspension has challenged it. Eleven state governments have challenged it. The federal government has filed their defense.

“So what is stopping the hearing of this case? So my recommendation is that the Supreme Court should, as a matter of urgency whether they are on vacation or not, hear that matter immediately.

“The state of emergency will expire on 18th of September,” Ngige stated.

He cautioned that failure to hear the case would mirror the Plateau experience, where Dariye’s suit against his suspension was dismissed as “academic” after the state of emergency had lapsed. “We are not prejudging the outcome. The plaintiffs may lose or they may win. I’m not interested. But I don’t want a situation of what happened in Plateau to recur.

In Plateau, by the time the matter was listed, the plaintiffs were met with preliminary objection that the matter had become academic. And then even though the Supreme Court overruled that objection, on other grounds that they didn’t sue the Attorney General of the Federation, the suit was struck out,” he explained.

The embattled governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga posted photos of the duo during the meeting.

“Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers, now on suspension from office, visited President Bola Tinubu in Lagos on Tuesday,” Onanuga captioned the photos he posted on his X handle on Tuesday evening.

However, details of what transpired during the visit have yet to be known.

The visit came months after Tinubu suspended Fubara, his deputy, Ngozi Odu, and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly over a protracted political crisis rocking the state.

The impasse in the coastal state began owing to a power tussle between Fubara and his successor, Nyesom Wike, who is now the Minister of the FCT.

That crisis immediately escalated to the Rivers House of Assembly, dividing the lawmakers into camps, one loyal to Wike and the other side backing the embattled governor.

In a move that has continued to stir debates across Nigeria and beyond, Tinubu on March 18th suspended Fubara, Odu, and the lawmakers in the House of Assembly for six months over the lingering political crisis. He also appointed Ibok-Ette Ibas, a retired naval chief, as sole administrator of the state.

Tinubu said the decision was to protect the peace and security of the state after failed moves to address the issue, and following reports of pipeline explosions in the state.

“With all these and many more, no good and responsible President will stand by and allow the grave situation to continue without taking remedial steps prescribed by the Constitution to address the situation in the state, which no doubt requires extraordinary measures to restore good governance, peace, order, and security.

However, since Fubara’s suspension, he has repeatedly expressed interest in peace in the oil-rich state and a desire to settle with Wike, whom he described as his boss.

  • PDP governors shredded my agreement with them over Fubara– Wike reveals

PDP governors shredded my agreement with them over Fubara– Wike reveals

Former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has revealed how People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governors shredded agreement over Rivers state crisis.

The FCT minister in a series of tweets through his X handle, blamed governor Bala Mohammad led PDP governors and his erstwhile political ally, Seyi Makinde for the crisis rocking the PDP.

Speaking specifically on the state of emergency in Rivers state and governor Sim Fubara’s suspension, Wike disclosed that while himself and the PDP governors had reach an agreement in which they were to withdraw their suit at the Supreme Court which challenges governor Sim Fubara’s suspension by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to necessitate out of court reconciliation and governor Sim Fubara’s return in an unnamed date, the PDP governors failed to act inline with the agreement and for the interest of peace.

The FCT minister thereafter declared that he will no longer be party to any reconciliation move by the party and will thereafter challenge every of the party’s decisions in court.

Nyesom Wike since his failed presidential bid in 2023, has remained a controversial figure in the Nigeria’s political space. His vested interest in Rivers state as well as in the People’s Democratic Party, has resulted in prolonged crisis which threatens the continued existence of PDP as a party.

While governor Sim Fubara was controversially suspended by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a move widely understood as the president’s attempt to pacify Wike his political ally especially due to his role in his electoral victory, the PDP governors seek the intervention of the Supreme Court especially as the constitution appears ambiguous on whether the president has such constitutional power to suspended an elected governor and lawmakers.

As 2027 draws closer, the PDP which has been plagued by alleged sponsored leadership crisis, aims to put its house in order and Wike’s former ally and member of his defunct G5, governor Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammad lead the move for PDP’s revival.

They seek to weaken Nyesom Wike overwhelming grip and influence on the party’s national leadership.

Rivers crisis: Finally vacate since your spirit already left’ – Wike’s aide derides Fubara

Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has derided the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara over his latest comment.

Fubara had disclosed that he is not desperate to return to office.

The suspended Governor revealed this during the service of songs held in honour of the late elder statesman, Edwin Clark, in Port Harcourt, on Sunday.

Fubara revealed that his spirit had already left the governorship position.

“Can’t you see how better I look? Do you think I am interested in it?

“Do you even know if I want to go back there? My spirit had already left that place long ago,” he said.

President Bola Tinubu had suspended Fubara, his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu; and members of the State House of Assembly for six months.

Tinubu also declared a state of emergency in Rivers State while appointing a Sole Administrator, retired naval chief, Ibok-Ete Ibas.

The suspension was a countermeasure by the president to prevent further escalation of the political crisis in Rivers State.

Rivers State crisis was due to the face-off between Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

The duo were battling for the control of the political resources in the state, a situation that almost snowballed into a full security issue, following threats by Niger Delta militants to attack oil installations in the state.

Responding to Fubara’s remark, Olayinka while painting a picture of a failed marriage, said the suspended governor should simply opt out since his “spirit already left.”

Posting on X, Olayinka wrote: “It is not really compulsory to stay in a marriage your spirit already left. Simply opt out legally.”

Support and align with Tinubu – Fubara sends Easter message to Rivers people

The suspended Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Rivers, urging them to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

Fubara made the remark in a statement issues by his Press Secretary, Mr Nelson Chukwudi, in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

According to him, Easter is a sacred season of reconciliation and unity, a time when the peace of Christ dwelt richly in the heart; restoring relationships; comforting the afflicted; feeding the hungry, and healing the brokenhearted.

Fubara emphasised the importance of peace, unity, and collective action in achieving transformation and progress in the state.

“Let us not lose sight of our collective strength, the transformation we all desire is achievable when we act together as one people under God, committed to peace, unity, and progress.

“Therefore, I call on the good people of Rivers to continue to support and align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of our dear President Bola Tinubu, while looking forward to a better tomorrow,” he said.

Fubara said that he was still committed to delivering good governance to the people of Rivers.

He prayed for the blessings of peace, love; good health; and renewed strength for the people of Rivers and beyond, as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • Emergency Rule: How President Tinubu saved Fubara from clutches of impeachment-Wike

Emergency Rule: How President Tinubu saved Fubara from clutches of impeachment-Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said Emergency Rule saved suspended governor of Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara from the clutches of impeachment.

He also backed President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers, saying he wanted the removal of Governor Siminalayi Fubara of the oil-rich state.

In a move that has continued to divide opinions, Tinubu suspended Fubara, his deputy, Ngozi Odu, and members of the House of Assembly following months of political crisis in Rivers State.

But Wike said the president’s move saved Rivers from implosion, arguing that the decision to appoint a sole administrator following Fubara’s suspension was a step in the right direction.

The former Rivers governor said this on Friday in Abuja during a media parley with select journalists.

“As a politician, I am not happy with the declaration of Emergency Rule in Rivers state. I wanted the outright removal of the governor. But for the interest of the state, the president did the right thing to prevent anarchy in the state.” Wike said.

However, people must tell the truth. The governor was gone. He was gone, yes… so when people say the president did this, I say they should be praising him.

“Every morning, they should go to the president and ask, ‘Can we wash your feet for saving us?’”

In February, the Supreme Court waded into the months-long political crisis in Rivers State, asking the Martin Amaewhule-led members of the state’s House of Assembly to resume sitting.

The apex court also barred the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to stop releasing funds to the Rivers State government over what it labelled as disregard for court orders. It dismissed the cross-appeal filed by Fubara challenging the validity of the House of Assembly presided over by Amaewhule as the Speaker and asked the governor to re-present the budget to the lawmakers.

After weeks of back and forth between Amaewhule and the lawmakers over the budget re-presentation and moves to impeach Fubara, President Tinubu stepped in.

He suspended Fubara and his deputy and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly for six months, citing security reasons. Tinubu declared a state of emergency in the state and appointed Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd) as the sole administrator, a step Wike said saved Rivers.

“Mr president came in and saved the situation, saved Rivers people from that calamity and anarchy,” the FCT minister argued.

  • Rivers crisis: Fubara’s dismissal of Nwaeke’s allegations not enough – By Ehichioya Ezomon

Rivers crisis: Fubara’s dismissal of Nwaeke’s allegations not enough – By Ehichioya Ezomon

Former Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi lately commented on the Rivers crisis – which dates back to his administration (2007-2015) – claiming that the blowout between suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and ex-Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, stemmed from “how to share Rivers State’s money.”

Amaechi, who stood aloof as Fubara and Wike turned Rivers into a theatre of acrimony and mayhem, made the claim in an interview with DW on March 19, 2025, after resurfacing on the political scene, and describing as “unconstitutional” President Bola Tinubu’s emergency rule in Rivers.

According to Amaechi: “The fight bewtween the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel? Nigerians don’t dislike corruption again. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is about?”

Amaechi didn’t say anything new. To use a local parlance – “Even the blind can see, and the deaf can hear” – that the unbridled desire to appropriate Rivers resources is the root cause of the fight-to-finish between godfather Wike and godson Fubara, leaving a huge toll on the political, economic, social, and security fabrics of Rivers.

If one may ask, what’s the cause of the low-intensity fight between Amaechi and his mentor and godfather, ex-Governor Peter Odili, during Amaechi’s governorship? Wasn’t it over the Rivers resources, for which Amaechi signalled his intention to fight dirty, and Odili had to flee Rivers until Amaechi’s out of power in 2015?

Ditto for the duel between Amaechi and Wike – clothed in the normal politics of then-Minister of State (Education) and later Minister of Education – wanting to take over power from Amaechi, whereas in reality, it’s who’d get the lion’s share of Rivers resources after Amaechi’s tenure.

The difference, though, is that Wike couldn’t wait for Amaechi to exit office peacefully. He deployed “Federal might” under ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, to make Rivers ungovernable for Amaechi, who, as Wike’s ally under the Odili political camp, bolstered Wike’s rise, by appointing him as his Chief of Staff, and “nominating” him for a ministerial portfolio.

During the 2023 General Election, Wike defied all opposition, “anointed” Fubara as candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), practically strapped him to his back, and campaigned for him to become governor.

For his yeoman’s job, Wike allegedly “wants to lord it over Fubara, and makes him a puppet and figurehead” in his government. It’s Fubara’s resistance that’s kept Rivers quaking for over 18 months (since October 2023).

To stem the crisis sliding into a full-blown anarchy, President Bola Tinubu wielded the big stick on March 18, 2023, and proclaimed a State of Emergency on Rivers, suspended, for six months, the executive and legislative arms of the government, and appointed a Sole Administrator to superintend affairs of the state.

A lot has happened barely three weeks after, the most telling being the bombshell allegations by former Head of Service (HoS), Dr George Nwaeke, against Fubara – the thrust of which’s Fubara’s directive to burn down the Rivers House of Assembly in 2023, and his plan to use militants to destroy oil installations in Rivers, and Niger Delta that lays Nigeria’s golden egg.

Nwaeke, who claims to be an “insider and eyewitness” to some of Fubara’s plans and actions, had suddenly resigned his position, and “disappeared” from the radar, only to show up in a video press conference, levelling grave allegations against Fubara, his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie, and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

In response, Fubara’s issued counter-accusations, rather than address directly the Nwaeke charges, which border on economic sabotage, destruction of public property, stifling of the legislature, and plotting to stop President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. Below are Nwaeke’s pointed allegations:

    • Fubara directed the burning down of the Rivers Assembly, using Edison Ehie, whom the governor mobilised with “a bag of money.”

    • Fubara’s attempts to demolish the residential quarters of Rivers Assembly members was averted by a press conference held by Rivers elders and youths, and National Assembly members.

    • Fubara’s procured the services of militants to bomb oil pipelines, as part of the plot to bring down the Tinubu government.

    • Nwaeke says he observed several meetings between Fubara, his chief of staff and some militant leaders, with each meeting ending with huge sums of money paid to attendees.

    • Fubara told Nwaeke that as Chief Security Officer of Rivers State, and his brother (Governor Duoye Diri) is in charge of Bayelsa State, all oil pipelines are under their care.

    • Fubara said that at the appropriate time, they (he and Diri) would tell the boys (militants) what to do, and fund was not an issue.

    • Nwaeke says he wasn’t surprised when Fubara repeated the statement in a public function that, “I will tell the boys what to do at the appropriate time.”

    • Fubara plans to start destruction of oil facilities from non-Ijaw-speaking areas of Ogoni, Oyibo, Ahoda, to remove attention from the Ijaw and make it have a statewide outlook.

    • That such actions will bring down Tinubu, and usher in a new President from the (rumoured) coalition of political parties, with a Vice President from the Ijaw.

    • Fubara boasts he’s the “David that will bring down the Goliath (Wike) of Rivers State,” and that he’s the backing of the crème de la crème in Rivers.

    • Fubara told Nwaeke he plans to use the Ijaw to decide the next President of Nigeria.

    • Nwaeke claims he used to sleep over in the Government House, Port Harcourt, but became uncomfortable when Governor Mohammed and other stakeholders started nocturnal visits to Rivers State.

    • Fubara’s co-opted Governor Mohammed into the plot against Tinubu, and told him (Nwaeke) he would support Mohammed or any other northerner for president in 2027, with discussions ongoing.

    • Nwaeke says he’s not bothered about who Fubara supports, but is concerned about the “quantum of Rivers resources” released to visitors plotting Tinubu’s downfall.

    • Nwaeke says he’s privy to several private meetings between the governor and labour leaders in Rivers and the largesse given out at each meeting to compromise the Labour Union.

    • The media will be captured by paying heavily for airtime and retaining social media influencers and known social critics on their payroll.

    • Such plans accounted for the organised media condemnations and public outcry against the President and National Assembly over the Rivers emergency rule.

    • That Tinubu’s declaration of emergency rule averted a major disaster in Rivers, and Nigeria from the militants.

    • Nwaeke wants Rivers Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), to step up his guards and be vigilant, as Fubara and others continue to hatch their plans if not put in check.

At the video press conference, Nwaeke said: “I am not unaware of what this revelation means, but I am doing this to free my conscience and warn those innocent persons that are used to sway public sentiment that there is more than meets the eye in the Rivers matter.

“As an insider and a key player in this administration by my position, who worked closely with Siminilayi Fubara, it will be unfair for me to keep silent or not to address some key factors that have affected or will affect our state if we continue on this trajectory.

“I want to tell Rivers people today that the House of Assembly complex on Moscow Road was clearly brought down by Edison Ehie under the instructions of Governor Siminilayi Fubara. I challenge him to an open confrontation and I will throw more light on it.

“If not for the intervention of Mr. President, Nigeria would have faced the worst economic sabotage, and Rivers State would have been up in flames. I thank the President for a swift intervention in Rivers State crisis, especially on the state of emergency that was declared and assented to by the National Assembly.

“Those who love democracy and humanity will always protect humanity and democracy. Mr. President, you have just protected democracy and humanity in Rivers State. I can now sleep with my conscience clear.”

Nwaeke’s allegations against Fubara are heavy, and damaging, and call for a direct and frontal rebuttal, point by point. But so far, Fubara’s been dismissive, labeling Nwaeke as “compromised” and not the calibre of person he’d sit or discuss with any of the alleged issues.

In a personally-signed counter-statement on March 29, 2025, Fubara said: “First, on the claim that he (Nwaeke) was aware of my discussions and plans to support Bala Mohammed’s alleged 2027 presidential bid, it is laughable that Dr. Nwaeke would be part of any high-level political meeting as Head of Service, much more sitting in my alleged night meetings with Bala Mohammed and militants, like he claimed. Howbeit, none of such meetings ever held.

“The truth is that the whole world knew when the Bauchi State Governor, as Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum, visited the State, and there was nothing secret about the visits.

“It is also ludicrous for Dr. Nwaeke to claim that he was aware of my meetings to encourage attacks on oil pipelines and other National assets in the State, as there was no time I held any meeting with militants or any criminal group to destabilise the State. It is on record that I have been at the forefront preaching peace in the State even in the face of obvious provocations.

“The truth is that Dr. Nwaeke has been compromised, and whatever he is saying is only aimed at fulfilling his promise to those who may have paid or coerced him to lie against me.

“I call on all well-meaning Nigerians and the good people of Rivers State to disregard everything said by Dr. Nwaeke, as they are mere desperate attempts to discredit me and my administration, and undermine the peace process by Mr. President.”

Fubara followed up on the “nothing burger” with a series of WhatsApp messages, suggesting that Nwaeke had been reaching out to Ehie “for funds and support in exchange for his loyalty,” as his ₦500,000 monthly salary was inadequate to meet his needs.

Yet, Fubara’s denial hasn’t scratched the surface of Nwaeke’s damning allegations against him. He needs to invalidate the charges in a more organised format, such as a press conference, to throw the ball back into Nwaeke’s court. Anything short of that will sustain doubts about him coming clean, and erode his credibility and public trust!

Ex-HoS allegations against Fubara: 30 CSOs demand in-depth probe

…ask security and anti-graft agencies to summon suspended governor, CoS

The Coalition of Civil Rights Organizations, otherwise known as Centre for Credible Leadership and Citizens Awareness (CCLCA), on Wednesday demanded the immediate probe of suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara following the weighty allegations levelled against him by Dr. George Nwaeke, the former Head of Service of the State.

Highlighting some of allegations during a press briefing in Abuja, the Director General of CCLCA, Dr Gabriel Nwambu called on the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to carry out an in-depth investigation of the allegations against the Governor.

Dr. Nwambu emphasized that these allegations, if substantiated, highlight a serious crisis in governance and pose significant threats to the stability and integrity of our democratic institutions.

According to him, Dr. Nwaeke had made several alarming claims that the CSOs believe warrant immediate investigation by the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

He noted the CSOs, numbering 30 are standing in solidarity with Dr. Nwaeke who has offered to share evidence of corruption and other constitutional infractions perpetrated by Governor Fubara and Mr. Edison.

“We collectively urge the relevant authorities to act swiftly and transparently. It is imperative that these allegations are addressed to restore public confidence in the institutions of governance in Rivers State and Nigeria as a whole”, he added.

The DG commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his decisive intervention in declaring a state of emergency in Rivers State, which he said has helped to stabilize the region during this tumultuous period.

Dr. Nwambu explained that the President’s action, confirmed by the National Assembly, was a critical step toward upholding democracy and ensuring the welfare of the people of Rivers State.

He recalled the former Head of Service allegations against Governor Fubara as follows,

“Directives for Arson: Dr. Nwaeke alleged that suspended Governor Sim Fubara instructed his Chief of Staff to burn down the Rivers State House of Assembly to derail his suspected impeachment. This act, if proven, represents a direct violation of Section 14(2)(b) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended, which mandates that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.

“Corruption and Financial Improprieties: It was stated that a bag of money was handed over for the purpose of executing this alleged arson. He also alleged the disbursement of large sums of money for personal interest of the suspended Governor Fubara implicating high-level corruption under Section 15(5) of the same Constitution, which emphasizes the duty of the state to combat corruption in all its forms.

“Threats to Public Safety and Security: Dr. Nwaeke expressed concern regarding planned sabotage of state infrastructure, which aims to incite public disorder. This falls under the purview of Section 1 of the Terrorism Prevention Act (2011), reinforcing the need for immediate intervention to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.

“Collusion with Militant Groups: Allegations of meetings between the governor, his Chief of Staff, and militant leaders pose a serious threat to national security and violate the provisions under Section 43 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended concerning the right to property, as these actions endanger public and private assets, including critical infrastructure.

“Subversion of Labour Rights: Dr. Nwaeke also revealed attempts to compromise Labour leaders in the state to quell dissent. This breaches Section 40 of the Constitution, which guarantees the right to peaceful assembly and association, fundamental pillars of democracy.

“In light of these allegations, we strongly urge immediate action by the relevant agencies of Government”.

  • Rivers crisis: PANDEF chairman, Igali confirms plan to reconcile Fubara, Wike

Rivers crisis: PANDEF chairman, Igali confirms plan to reconcile Fubara, Wike

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has stepped in to mediate between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in a bid to resolve their ongoing political dispute.

This peace initiative, which aims to address the tensions exacerbated by the political conflict, comes after President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in the state on March 18, suspending Fubara, his deputy, and all members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The Chairman of PANDEF, Godknows Igali, confirmed that the forum had arranged for a peace meeting between the two political figures.

Speaking on a TV program, Igali explained that PANDEF had approached a southern governor, unaffiliated with the conflict, to host the crucial meeting.

He stated: “We are a body that is formed to promote dialogue, to promote the reign of peace in the region and also defending, of course, the people. A template has been established, and that template is that we go and talk about how we can arrive at a peaceful resolution to this problem.”

Igali noted that PANDEF would have taken a more reactive approach if there had been no opportunity for dialogue.

“If that option was not there, PANDEF would have reacted totally differently,” he emphasized, adding that the mediation process was already showing promising progress.

Describing the steps PANDEF took to facilitate communication between the two sides, Igali explained that the forum had previously encountered resistance from both parties, who were unwilling to engage in discussions.

However, the situation has now shifted, with both factions showing more willingness to come to the table.

“The committee of elders succeeded in talking to the two sides.

“They met people who were very close to the governor. They met with the governor himself twice. Then they also met with the very close people to the minister of the federal capital territory, and the two sides agreed that, okay, let us arrange for the two principals to meet at a neutral ground,” Igali explained

Igali revealed that PANDEF had already identified a neutral location for the peace talks, with the backing of a southern governor.

“We had already started working on that, on a place where both of them can meet face to face. I can put it out that we had approached one of the governors in the south who is very detached from this matter to host, and he had accepted to host,” he said.
