TRENDING: Church member accuses ‘General Overseer’ of snatching his wife [Wedding photos attached]

A man identified as Bright Ben has taken to social media to accuse his pastor and the General Overseer of World Bank Assembly, Pastor Moses Adeeyo, of “snatching” his wife, Mrs Tina Bright nee Everest.

Ben, who resides in Port Harcourt in a Facebook post, said he was a full financial member of the church alongside Tina.

He said that Adeeyo had been there for them in the past when they had family issues but he was shocked to find out that he, the pastor, was behind his wife’s attitude.

Ben alleged that trouble started after his wife was given an ‘appointment’ and she quietly moved out of the house with their children.

He added that he had been searching for her and even called the Pastor to seek advice on the matter.

Ben stated that he found out about his wife’s whereabouts on Sunday after seeing pictures of Adeeyo’s marriage to Tina.

“ADULTERY… As shameful as it sounds, it is a true life story. MY PASTOR MARRIED MY WIFE. I’ve been married to Mrs Tina Bright for over 12 years with 2 kids, a girl and a boy. I married her traditionally and white wedding and took her to introduce to my Pastor Moses Adeeyo,” he wrote.

“The General Overseer of World Bank Assembly in Eneka, Obio/Akpor LGA, Rivers State; We started attending the church and became full financial members.

“My wife was given an immediate appointment seven months ago, she moved out of the house with our two kids before I got back from work. I searched everywhere and called everyone even the G.O. Unknown to me, he was the architect of my problems. After sometime he stopped picking my calls and blocked my phone line. I’ve been looking for her until I saw this pictures yesterday online.

“He claimed that the Holy Spirit told him that she is his wife. Is the Holy Spirit and author of confusion? My wife of 12 years is now his. Please, couples, be careful about World Bank Assembly; be careful of Pastor MOSES ADEEYO.”

40 years later, Pastor Adeboye confesses: I said ‘God forbid’ when RCCG founder told me I’ll be General Overseer

General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is a definition of grace which has sustained him for 78 years as a human and 40 years as a pastor.

As the respected cleric celebrated his 40th anniversary as head of one of the biggest churches in the world on Thursday, January 21, he recalled some old memories.

In a video interview, Adeboye admitted that when he was told he would become the General Overseer by the late founder of RCCG, Reverend (Pa) Josiah Akindayomi, he said ‘God forbid.’

He explained: “I prefer the quiet life and I still prefer the quiet life. The quiet life as far as I am concerned is the sweetest and I knew then that becoming the general overseer will expose me a lot. If you like a quiet life, you don’t want to head an international organisation and my father in the Lord told me clearly that I would travel all over the world. I told him I was willing to serve as a pastor under a General Overseer and I will do my best but apparently what is written is written. So here we are.”

According to him, the first years as a young GO were full of challenges from senior pastors who were there before he became born again and probably saw me as an upstart.

“The church was started in 1953, I joined the church in 1973. Many of these pastors were my teachers, workers in training and baptismal classes. So just coming from nowhere and being catapulted above them all, one could understand that it was not too pleasant. Initially, the cooperation was not too robust,” he explained.

“The initial mistake I made as GO maybe was that I trusted too much. It took me some time to learn that only God could be trusted and that led to some mistakes. I would ask somebody to go do something, go to sleep believing the thing was done. Only to wake up and discover that the person had not moved. The only friend you can trust 100 per cent is God.”

Born in Osun State to very humble parents, Adeboye completed his first degree at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1967. The same year, he married Foluke Adenike and they are blessed with four children – Adeolu, Bolu, Dare and Leke.

  • Again! OAP, Freeze attacks RCCG’s Adeboye, other ‘Daddy GOs’

Controversial OAP Daddy Freeze has once again attacked the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his contemporaries, saying they are extorting people and living a life of sheer opulence.

Freeze made the remarks on his Instagram page on Tuesday while reacting to a photograph of a baby, David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidibe Orok, who was rescued by Nigerian-based Danish aid worker, Anja Rinngren Lovén.

The popular humanitarian, Anja Rinngren Lovén shared the photo to remind people about the baby who she said will be starting school this week after a year of his rescue.

Provoked by the emotion surrounding the photograph, Freeze lamented, “Redeemed was busy setting up churches on every street, yet they missed this boy”

Redeemed was busy setting up churches on every street, yet they missed this boy….. I bet with you, that there was a Redeemed church within walking distance from this starving child, branded a witch by the same doltish belief system that extorts your first salary every January, having you willingly give your hard earned money in a recession, to a church where the G.O has a private jet and leads a life of sheer opulence! – The Nigerian Pentecostal church brands people wearing tattoos as bad and ‘unchristian’ whereas this woman with all her tattoos is more Christ like than all your ‘Daddy GOs’ can ever be. What she is doing is all Jesus requires of us, Jesus NEVER COLLECTED TITHE or first fruit and his disciples didn’t collect it either! As a matter of fact, no Christian church collected tithe for 600 years after Christ died and resurrected. – History claims that Mungo Park discovered the Niger and we wonder “what were the Nigerians living around the Niger doing, that it had to take a foreigner to discover a river we were bathing in and washing from?” My answer was simple “The same thing we were doing when hope was found” ~FRZ – P.S. Anyone that demands your entire January salary from you, in this recession, is a thief! Anyone who gives it is a fool! #FreeTheSheeple
